‘The Israelis hijacked us,’ McKinney says in call from prison

“Most members of a group of foreign peace activists seized at sea by the Israeli navy remained in custody Friday, three days after their failed attempt to run Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip, relatives and supporters said,” the Associated Press reports.
The AP add that “the Free Gaza Movement sent the ship loaded with humanitarian supplies and 21 activists and crew from Cyprus.”
“Because we wouldn’t turn around, the Israelis hijacked us,” former Rep. Cynthia McKinney told WBAIX in a phone call from Ramle jail, near Ben-Gurion airport. “Because we wanted to give crayons to the children of Gaza.”
Along with McKinney, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Corrigan Maguire is still being held by Israel.

“It is incumbent upon President Obama to stand by his reported policy of easing the Gazan blockade and of allowing building supplies, medical supplies, and school supplies to go through,” McKinney said. “We call upon President Obama to use the highest level of his authority to transmit this message to the Israelis.”
Sandra Law, mother of detained British activist Alex Harrison, and whose daughter is also being held at Ramle jail believes “the planned deportation of the activists may have been delayed by their refusal to sign legal documents in Hebrew, which they do not understand,” the AP adds.

Why should they release them? If they did not obey the command given then they should be jailed. Laws pertain in America too and those that do not obey a command go to jail here. Matter of fact over 2 M people live in American jails more than the entire world put together. Israel is at war with the Gaza area which Israel gave with no deal what so ever. You can clearly see what the Palestinians did with that area. They use what was given to them to direct an easier hit at Israelis. They were in international waters when they were seized illegally by the Israeli navy according to the reports I’ve heard. So, no Israeli laws were being broken. That means the Israelis committed an act of piracy and the seals should be brought in to deal with them the way they dealt with the Somalians!
Israel is not part of the UN charter because their government doesn’t want to declare itself an ally of the USofA and be bound by humanitarian dictates.
And if the Palestinians find it “easier to direct attacks’ with there IED’s or there bombs made from the unexploded ordinance of American made Israeli weapons shot indiscriminately into their schools, hospitals, shopping centers… you know, where the terrorists hang… then how could anyone in this world not see the inhumanity, the utter cruel ruthlessness of the Israeli’s actions against the people who’s land was stolen from them within the memories of those still alive?
And your final “lesson”… keep moving your fence over into your neighbor’s yard, treat him/her like sh*t while doing it, and see how long it takes him/her to defend their land!

The boat was told in International waters NOT to enter Israeli waters. They did NOT listen and when they entered ISRAELI waters, the boat was stopped!

1. Went to ISNA/DC to check in. I had prepaid $100.00 fee and had my registration.
2. It was apparent I was ‘flagged’.
3. 8 or 9 ISNA and other men surround me.
4. They refused to tell me who they are or why they want me to leave.
5. One then said, “CAIR wants you out.”
6. They began crowding me. I was professional and told them to step away from me, tell me who they are, and why was I being illegally detained.
7. I told them this could have been avoided if ISNA would have emailed me a cancellation. I told them I want my $100.00 back. Meanwhile I was asking them some tough questions they could not answer.
8. Then the group led me out of the convention; still no names of who they were.
9. I was on the street and noticed at least 3 DC patrol cars. I took pictures. Then I started walking toward my parked car. One patrol car was following me slowly. I stopped took a few pictures of him. Then walked to my car.
10. I got in my car. Three Patrol cars surrounded me and surrounded my vehicle. I was told to get out.
11. I asked what was the problem. Finally one officer showed me a picture CAIR had given them and told them I was a threat. It had four pictures. 3 were with me in Iraq with my M-16 and 9mm, and two I was holding AK-47s in Iraq. CAIR had photocopied the picture of me helping a sick iraqi child from the picture. Then CAIR had cropped my head shot onto a Nazi uniform (which was obvious).
12. The lead cop said this is all CAIR had given them. I told them about the pictures, my background in Iraq, and who I was. They knew nothing of this.
13. CAIR and ISNA had essentially tried to get me killed. The officer said they just had the holocaust shooting. CAIR intentionally misled the officers to make them believe I was just someone who carries guns. CAIR failed to tell them these were pictures from Iraq when I was serving my country.
Bit frustrated right now and hope we can get American people to respond legally or more and more of this will happen to innocent Americans.
