‘This Is Genocide’: American Witness Says U.S. and Georgia to Answer for Violence

An American man living in South Ossetia says U.S. and Georgian leaders are responsible for the violence that has killed 2,000 people in the region. Joe Mestas, who witnessed days of shelling, told RT that Washington will have to answer for the violence.
“I thought that since U.S. is supporting Georgia there would be some control over the situation in South Ossetia and that there would be a peaceful solution to the conflict. But what is happening there now it’s not just war, but war crimes. George Bush and [Georgian president] Mikhail Saakashvili should answer to the crimes that are being committed – the killing of innocent people, running over by tanks of children and women, throwing grenades into cellars where people are hiding,” Joe Mestas said.
“The war is when military fight against military. But the Georgian army is killing innocent civilians. This is genocide,” he added.

Typical ploy to escalate conflict which we have seen all over the world in the last decade.
Next thing, we are going to here how Russians are killing civilians.
All the stupid pundits in the media will report about Russia attacking Georgia out of the blue because they “want it back” or something equally stupid.
But stupid or not, “Joe Sixpack” will believe it and think Russia “hates freedom”.
“The Circus” is fun for a while but when it is the ONLY thing on TV it begins to get boring, especially when they keep repeating the same thing, over and over; except of course for little kids and retarded people, who can’t get enough.

Why is it that no one asks why Israel and the US are so adamant about getting these Eastern Europe and Russian countries away from Russia? Nothing less than Russia trying to recreate the Soviet Union in a new form and the US and Israel blocking Russia and China from getting any ground or resources before the planned WW3. That’s why Iran is called a rogue state and the West is so itching to get into Burma. A strong case for this possibility is made in this.

How the hell do you get mainstream Americans to know the real story? I have to live with these people who are oblivious. It is like I am the adult at the breakfast table drinking coffee and reading the newspaper and they are the 5yr old with a bowl of cereal and a glass of OJ who is not even eating but is playing with a toy airplane. They are doing Loop-de-loops and going VROOOM , EEAAAARRRRRRR-EH-EH-EH-EH, and I am annoyed and I am constantly telling them to knock it off. Anyone know the feeling. HOW THE FUCK DOES IT CHANGE.

My first question is who the heck was that santa look alike there , and why should we believe anything he says. I dunno about you but I wouldnt just give my wife, friend, family, anyone I cared about, the keys, n let them go galavanting around a war zone. I’m a bit sceptical of any report or “video” of genocide, where no genocide is ever seen, full of over the top dramatic reactions. Why do foreigners always do that hand motion, around the waistline like they are flapping a towel when there’s tragedy. Or the ever popular slap your’ own face with both hands act. Did the US Israel etc have anything to do with this, definetly. But all this stuff being reported in media reports means nothing to me. We have video of german genocide, live and happening during ww2. Also have video of the rape of nanking, things that went on in nam etc. This new trend where reporters are in rubble telling you what they saw, would get you fired for not getting the video in any respectable newsroom. You’ll get kicked off a high school newspaper for not taking pictures of a bleacher collapse at a high school basketball game. I don’t wanna see genocide, noone does, but ppl were getting black n white film way back when of it, cause it was a story. Even though the cameras were large, lumbering, unhidable, non water resistant, film driven devices. so… Don’t be so quick to believe it. In the age of quarter sized hidden cams, instant info with the net etc, don’t for a second think we wouldn’t have the video of these cellar grenadings n tank smashings, he’ll we’d havem in hd probably.

I’m not sure the annhialation of anything is a step toward peace. 2 things need to happen if the world wants true peace, and I see neither going down anytime soon. 1. Would be a general calming down of ppl. Personally as a normal earthling, my goals are simple, sustanence and peace. I wanna just eat and live basicly, not bother anyone, not rock the boat in any evil or bad way. We all execute powerplays based on the situation, socially or in the workplace, to advertise one’s own abilities to get , the promotion or the girl etc. Pursuit of peace n happiness doesnt require aggresive destructive behavior. NWO or not , regardless of what you believe or are awake too, it wouldn’t matter if ppl weren’t doing messed up shit. The elite acting correctly though, not gonna happen.
The 2nd thing that needs to happen would be ppl en masse demanding justice. Not to overuse a term, but again, NWO or not, if 51% only of the ppl in this country raised hell, protested, inccesently called they’re representatives etc, we could impeach or dethrone anyone at anytime. Most ppl though just wanna eat and be happy like me or anyone else, however most ppl also don’t get it , or are too lazy to care that, sometimes to sustain and insure the possibility of those kinda goals, or the american dream in general, sometimes we have to raise a ruckus or even fight for it. Untill people start having more tangible freedoms or the like, taken away from em they’ll never care enough. As long as they can sit in the hottub they could care less if they’re grandkids are gonna end up being fuedal serfs, with illegal immigrant international overlords.

Well we can say the Russia Times report is probably true because it has been confirmed by a separate source (Maia Kardava/Red Cross) on the ground in South Ossetia. She also said that the Georgian/American forces (Personally I’m sure to include Dyncorp + Blackwater) were throwing grenades into civilian basements during their assault last Thursday night.

- Who had the motives for starting this conflict?
Of course Georgia because they want to take control over this territories which the Soviet Union dictator Stalin gave to Georgia a long time ago. Stalin was himself a Georgian.
- Why do Georgia use ethnic cleansing?
Simply because they can never get control over the areas as long as the people are still there. The people don’t want to be part of Georgia.
- How did Georgia dare to challenge Russia?
Simply because they are getting a lot of aid from foreign countries like the US and Israel.
