| Madrid Bombing: "AZF" Total/Fina Link Still Ignored Rumor Mill News | March 12 2004 In what appears to be an epidemic of recent memory deficit syndrome, the mass media continue to ignore obvious links between the 11th March Madrid bombings and "terrorist" activities in France that the French Government have tried to keep secret. On 3rd March, French authorities were forced to admit something was going on when 10,000 rail workers began a search for bombs on the country's rail network. The French govt said that it had been receiving threats since Dec 2003 from a mysterious organisation calling itself AZF demmanding that unless France paid up 5Bn euro, the organisation would explode pre-placed devices on the French rail network. The threat specified that the number of bombs involved would be 10, the precise number exploded in Madrid eight days later. As reported in the first thread to appear on this incident at RMN, one letter gave the precise GPS co-ordinates of a planted device and the French authorities found what they described as a "surprisingly sophisticated 2kg bomb". Of immense importance is that the French Govt tried to keep this threat secret and claim to have bungled an attempt to pay-off the extortion demand. The French interior ministry sent urgent faxes to all major news agencies asking for a blackout. However, one daily newspaper La Dépêche du Midi broke the embargo forcing the Govt to issue its story. Whilst the "AZF" name of the group has been reported to be mysterious, it suggests a link to an explosion at the AZF chemical plant in Toulouse France on Sept 21, 2001 which killed at least 29 people and injured 1000, a mere 10 days after the Sept 11th attacks in the USA. The French government declaration that the blast and subsequent fire at the Total/Fina/Elf owned AZF plant was "accidental" resulted in an outcry amongst workers and locals who cited numerous witness reports of a missile hitting the plant. The French Government has admitted to running newspaper ads that are coded communications to the AZF "terror" group. One such was worded, "My big wolf, didn't see your blue scarf. Give me a sign. Suzy." Meanwhile, the media waffle-on about whether it is ETA or Al Qaeda who carried out the attack in Madrid while an obvious area of investigation is ignored as though it does not exist. To many people, however, there is a clear connection between the Madrid bombing to the AZF "threat" in France, to the Toulouse explosion on Sept 21, 2001 and to the 9/11 attacks in America, which if opened up could lead us to the real perpetrators of 9/11. All of which suggests, as though most awake people are not already aware of it, that the Sept 11th attack was far too sophisticated to have been planned and carried out by men from caves in Afghanistan. When a story like AZF is "supressed" you can bet your bottom dollar that it is of extreme importance. It also begs the question that with all this high alert across the border in France in connection with a major terrorist threat, how were at least eight people able to get through Spanish security measures and detonate 10 devices in a co-ordinated manner in Madrid when the Spanish authorities were already on high alert as evidenced by their recent claimed victories against ETA? |
