2009 Bohemian Grove Gets Underway Amidst Protests

The Bohemian Grove, a redwood-spired sanctuary to powerful men for 120 years, today opens its gates near Monte Rio for its annual, two-week encampment.
The gathering of the all-male Bohemian Club is expected to draw a small group of protesters this weekend when the bulk of the guests are expected to arrive. The encampment lasts through July 26.
The small demonstration contrasts with some of the larger-scale protests of earlier years, usually coinciding with Republican presidential administrations over the past three decades. Every Republican president since Herbert Hoover reportedly has belonged to the 2,500-member club.
Mary Moore, who helped found the Bohemian Grove Action Network in the 1980s, said she is happy that new activists are still trying to draw attention to leaders of government, banking, business and the military who gather in the grove.
“I’m just glad to see anybody out there,” Moore said of this year’s demonstrators.

This video and intro is quite dramatic and therefore kind of silly. Well, as far the Bohemian Grove is concerned, Yes, the rich and political representatives, do attend the meetings and are members. Yes it is quite suspicious but there is no real evidence anything important is discussed or decided at these meetings. I may be wrong but I believe its just a club where the rich and powerful alike can go suck eachother off by feeding each others ego. As far as I am concerned, this video is just a distraction and the Grove is nothing more than a club for egotistical figure heads to masturbate themselves because they take their lives and personal worth too seriously.

The 8 hour day, the 5 day week, paid holidays, sick leave, unemployment benefits etc were not given to us by the NWO. They were won through hard struggle by an organized (union) labor force and a general public with spirit, and a sense of fair play.
I don’t know about the suffrage movement, but the women’s liberation movement that boomed in the 70’s was indeed funded by Rockefeller money and the reasons were pretty much as Jim stated.

They are gathering at the grove again this year. They do this every year it seems. Some of what they do there is widely known but the full extent of what goes on at that place is mostly hidden. It would be interesting to one day have someone come out of there is spill the beans on the whole show.
A person would be taking a big risk turning on his buddies at the grove. Considering the networking that goes on at that place it is highly unlikely anyone will fully disclose all the details of what goes on there. I think the best that can be hoped for in the near future is to try and get a straight laced journalist, who has very little open connections to the patriots movement, to do a hit piece on the meeting at the grove. That would at least get more people interested in what goes on there. You know, get people talking and whatnot.
