Comment: At the time of this staged incident, neo-con media outlets like Sean Hannity and Fox News, as well as 9/11 debunking groups, claimed that a 9/11 truther had beaten up a disabled girl as a means of trying to discredit the 9/11 truth movement. Now that Talis has been aquitted and proven completely innocent of all charges, as we maintained all along, will those same groups now come forward and apologize for promulgating this hoax?
A New York jury has acquitted a 24-year-old man accused of heckling Laura and Jenna Bush and assailing a wheelchair-bound teenager and her family.
The New York Post reported Wednesday a Manhattan Criminal Court jury acquitted Gary Talis Tuesday on assault charges stemming from an April 2008 incident in which Talis allegedly attacked a family following a New York appearance by the wife and daughter of then-U.S. President George W. Bush. The Bushes were in New York to talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.”

Authorities had accused Talis of shouting obscenities at the Bushes before attacking John Lovetro’s family at the event.
Lovetro testified against Talis during his trial, as did Lovetro’s daughter and wife Wendy. The Post said several New York police officers and one Secret Service agent also offered testimony against Talis.

The simple reference to an alleged assault undermines the entire movement via perception.

why were firemen in a building that was so damaged that “everyone knew” it was going to come down? It was an empty office building…why were firemen in the building while the biggest rescue effort in history was taking place?

1)Why does the 9/11 Commission specifically state that there was no firefighting in WTC7? It says they stopped fighting the fires. They also were using the lobby of WTC7 as a triage until the towers came down. That’s why people saw bodies in the loby when they were being escorted out.
2)Why would “Pull IT” refer to firefighters? Because at the time of the call, they were still trying to fight the fires. So, they told the owner they were going to pull the remaining firefighters out because “they already had such terrible loss of life that day” 343 to be exact.

No the 9/11 Commission Report never states they were fighting any fires in WTC7. In fact, they couldn’t. There was no water pressure in that area or something along those lines.
So basically what you are implying is that they were fighting fires in WTC7 BEFORE the towers came down…but then what fires were there to fight?
If they fought the fires after the towers came down…you still haven’t answered why firefighters would be in an empty building fighting small office fires when the biggest rescue effort in history was taking place across the street.
You could always show me a quote from the 9/11 Commission Report that states there was firefighting in WTC7 after the buildings came down. But you won’t. Because there is no such quote. You’re making things up as you go.

What I meant is…why is IT a reference to something Silverstein hadn’t brought up in the conversation yet (firefighters) and not what he was just referring to and the whole reason he was being interviewed (WTC7 because he’s the owner).
Basically…put it this way…

When does he ever mention the firefighters? Usually someone would preface using the word IT with whatever they were talking about, right? Why would IT suddenly mean something (the firefighters) that he didn’t bring up in the interview yet?!

Also, have you ever heard of anyone being so well-trained they could accurately forecast the collapsing of such a building with a countdown? Apparantly that is what you are having us try and believe. Also, the Mexican Defense Force did video on a patrol 11 UFOs flying over Mexico and they released the tape to the public. Also, many astronauts have come out and admitted there are UFOs. WTC7 had more then “just a few small fires”, it had structural damage, was built on a sub con station, had roughly 20% knocked out by the falling skyscraper, none of the fires were being fought, and the fire department is on VIDEO saying they knew it was coming down.. Why, if other steel framed buildings have fallen from LESS, do you not understand how it could happen under worse conditions in a building that had burned for 7 hours plus?

I don’t think so. One of the safest buildings structurally is one of the first to fall from fire. Three from fire in all history. And all on the same day. Wow! The “mystery” of Porter Goss’ resignation last month as CIA Director is apparently directly related to the huge seizure in Mexico several weeks earlier of over 5.5 tons of cocaine, according to government documents recently obtained by the The MadCowMorningNews.

Which is why when the 9-11 Commission were doing their investigation and looking into the time at which Cheney arrived in the White House bunker, the only thing they used to say what time he was there was an interview Cheney did for a new outlet that he arrived at a certain time. Even though other reports from Cheney, as well as from others who were THERE including Rice have pegged at having been in the bunker at as early as 9:20, not 9:55 and yet these reports are ignored. There were several reports (all conflicting, but one source remained true, and that was that Cheney was there at 9:20). Now why can’t they get the story straight? Why did the 9-11 commission take accurate reports on when he was really there instead of going on an interview that Cheney did to say “well, Mr. Cheney was in the bunker at 9:55″. gtfo.
Let’s look at Bush. Who when told the towers were attacked just sat there. He didn’t ask to be excused. He wasn’t evacuated by the secret service who were watching the highly publicized school at the time of the attack. Bush just sat there. And then STAYED for something like 7 minutes. Now why would the secret service not rush Bush out of there, yet they rounded up Rice, Cheney and others and said “get in the bunker”. The only reason for not evacuating him is if they KNEW no planes were gonna attack the school (which is fucking silly logic if you’re not “in” on it. Any terrorist who was planning something of this magnitude would have known about the school reading BECAUSE THE MEDIA WAS COVERING IT, and planned an assassination of the president by crashing a plane into the school).

Actually been going to the bullshit sites that reconfag has linked here. Uh, there are some basic flaws. Am I a scientist? Only in the sense that historians use a scientific methodology. However, the site he links to ignores basic eyewitnesses not helping his argument. As in: the firefighter eyewitness accounts of a countdown taking place on Building 7. That is a major flaw in a building just collapsing, and not being destroyed. Also, the author’s argument that planes had not hit buildings before. However, the force of impact is something one could make calculations about, and the architects said the buildings were designed to withstand just such an impact. Of course, the author also ignored Silversteins widely publicized admission that they had made the decision to “pull it”. Also, even though their are several eyewitness accounts of huge explosions in the basement areas, the author states there were none of them. In other words, in the introduction alone, there are several inconsistancies which invalidate the site’s author as an authority or even a reasonable follower of his cherished scientific method. And this doesn’t even touch the subject. Amazing that even someone as myself, who is not a chemist, metallurgist, demolition expert, or whatever. Me, just a simple historian can find so many flaws in such a short amount of time. Reconfag, I will finish the site, with a critical eye, as I do all my readings. But this guy has already lost a lot of credibility and I’m not even through his introduction.

Just wanted to clarify a few more problems with the reconfag’s site “Good science”. Will be posting them as I go along. While I do agree with part of what this idiot is saying, in that aluminum on the fuselage could have made the explosion more intense, as this is a normal additive in home-made explosives. Anyone who’s ever read Ragnar’s guide to making C4, knows that he recommends a generous helping of Stop-Leak, which is aluminum shavings, to the mix to move the explosives from 18k fps to around 24k fps. I’m going off memory on those figures, haven’t read that booklet in about 5 years. But, he also starts his word games later on as well. Since, he decided to poke fun at the word “revisionist” which is always used by those uneducated morons who don’t understand that it is the process of continually understanding more of an event, rather than a political weapon. Of course, it can be used that way, but that is not the intent. I use this example, because he slanders it like a typical moron. He also misuses another word “theory”. A theory is a step above a hypothesis and a step below a Law. This is it’s scientific rung in the ladder. A law is a theory that has been proven so many times it is regarded as a fundamental law of nature. A theory is close, but no banana yet. A hypothesis is an idea which has not yet reached the level of fundamental knowledge in a situation, yet. He mis-quotes both theory and revisionist. The revisionist mis-quote was done in a deliberatly disparging manner. The theory was done out of pure ignorance. I shall return as I read through more of this garbage. Much of which has already been recanted by the very agency he is trying so desperately to defend. Not looking good for your source of limitless knowledge reconfag. Just as expected. And remember, going in with a skeptical mind is the scientific way. Just as I do with “truther” lies. Except that the truther lies generally hold more water than the government lies. I wonder why?

“Debunkers” are always quick to point out the damage caused by 400 mph planes hitting the towers and the resulting explosion and fire as cause for the towers to disintegrate into dust at a rate of 10 floors per second. I can easily accept that the part of the structure above the impact sites would have collapsed due to having it’s supporting beams blown away… the way a tree falls IN THE DIRECTION OF THE AXE CUT, but debunkers can Never explain how people were able to walk through fires hot enough to produce the molten steel THAT WE KNOW FROM THE RESCUER’S ACCOUNTS WAS IN THE DEBRIS PILE. NOR CAN THEY EXPLAIN WHY PEOPLE IN THE BASEMENT WERE INJURED BY EXPLOSIONS, OR WHY MULTIPLE EYEWITNESSES TOLD THE MEDIA THAT THEY HAD BEEN ” BLOWN DOWN FROM THE 8TH FLOOR DOWN THE STAIRS FROM A ‘HUGE EXPLOSION’ –THEIR ACTUAL WORDS. HOW COULD THE JET FUEL ON THE 75TH FLOOR CREATE THE “HUGE EXPLOSIONS” REPORTED ON TV NEWS BY ASHLEY BANFIELD OF MSNBC AND MULTIPLE SEPARATE PEOPLE COMING OUT OF THE TOWERS?

Okay, finally done reading that bullshit. And, that is just what it is. My final question to that author is, let us assume he is correct on the first two buildings. That the plane did cause their collapse. He has still not stated what could cause Bldg 7 to collapse. He mentions structural damage, but gives no explanation of the damage, nor what could have possibly caused said damage. In short, he discounts the validity of any claims stating that no steel framed buildings have ever fallen before due to fire, and this one was clearly only subject to fire, and its damaging effects, and that somehow structural damage was the key reason for it’s collapse. But, just what could have caused such structural damage? And, citing his own words of the plane being able to withstand an airplane such as these at 100 mph, this building also being able to withstand said damage, what force could have caused the necessary structural damage to bring it down? No explanation was given for this. Also, though he continually states that the explosives do not cause the buildings to fall so fast, instead saying it is gravity, he does not give a plausible explanation as to what could have caused the building to collapse as if all the columns had been blown at once. Only, that it did not fall exactly into it’s own footprint on one of the buildings, but a slight change from straight down. He mocks the words of “virtually freefall” in comparison of “freefall” in the same paragraph from Jones, calling it bad science (though it is really more like bad semantics) without offering a plausible explanation as to how his version makes more sense. Gravity is the case for it’s falling, but he offers no rational explanation for how the gravity got there to start with.
And this is only on the falling of the buildings. Also, at the end he briefly states the eyewitnesses saying the explosions heard and felt at the sub-basement levels before the ones at the top were somehow proof that the explosions happened at the top of the building. He does this without clarifying his position. That is an example of real bad science, not bad semantics. In short, this guy depends more upon scorn than science. He needs to mock his opposition in order to portray himself as intelligent in his conclusions. In the end, he comes across as an idiot.
Well, that’s it for my critical reading. One of reconfags expert sources has proved to be an idiot. What a surprise.

On the video link reconfag offered, I personally am not familiar enough with demolitions to argue all the points. I do however, have extensive skydiving experience. In skydiving, your body takes twice as long to fall the first 1000 ft as it does the second 10000 ft. It’s because nothing in life goes instantly from nada to freefall. Also, this collapse, which the NIST did not refute the person who charged them with the cover-up, is not explained as simply as through the statement “structural damage”. Remember, in the other site, even by going through the author’s premise that the planes were simply generating 9x the force as they were designed, it did not explain bldg 7 which was also similarly designed and still fell. This video does not explain how this damage was so much greater than a passenger plane at over 100 mph could have caused. Note, this video does not explain how this building fell at all. Only debated the speed of the fall. A speed which apparantly employs instant max velocity. Even if that is the case, it does not explain how the building could have fallen in the first place.
As a historian, I find the buildings collapses only a small portion of the over-all story. The overall story finds the simplest and most feasible and most likely scenario to be one of conspiracy. A conspiracy that fits well within the historical guidelines of our country. The players involved, their statements, their actions, their actions before and after, the policy decisions as a result, etc., all of these are but parts of a play. The accusation of conspiracy does indeed make the most sense. It would be far more difficult to have the pieces fit if it were Al Quada (tho the first site said bushie just didn’t understand the area very well. he conviniently overlooked the fact that the bin ladens were old family friends. his whole lifetime dealt with his exposure to them, so that was another obvious error bordering on stupidity.). and if the official story were true. Such a series of highly unlikely incidents all occuring on the same day is far less credulous than the truther’s version of this disaster. Ergo, reconfag needs an education, not another indoctrination class.

The FBI stated there was NOT enough evidence to even put the 9-11 incident on the list. So, exactly what “evidence” are you talking about? I guess it is in the same file as the evidence to support an Iraq invasion and overthrow of their gov. ? Right?

Oh yes REconfag, just in regards to the Pentagon strike. A few absurdities I’d like to hear from you being cleared. This should be amusing. How does such a small hole come from such a large airplane strike? And the force of the plane was so great it melted titanium. And apparantly morphed the engine part into an exact replica of a completely different type of engine from another type of plane. Also, the heat was so localized that, even though it melted titanium, it did not scorch the exposed papers right next to the blast. It is hard to go back and investigate thouroughly as bush and company cleaned up the crime scene immediately. But, these are sticky questions on that strike. You will have some bs response, I am sure, just want to be entertained as to your explanations. If you dare.

i’m right here with everybody. low paying job, bills mounting up, wife and kid. But i gotta tell you. everything you read, everything you hear, everything both sides say, is all designed to draw your attention away from what really matters. If you worry about what Fox news says, and worry about what Alex Jones says, you’ve missed the picture. though Alex may be right about what is going on, i think even he loses sight of what really matters. We aren’t just coming closer to the end of cash, rights and everything that makes America great. we’re coming closer to the end of the world. Closer to the coming of the Lord. Spread His word. not the meaningless words of man.
