A Scientist’s Quiet Life Took a Darker Turn

For most of his career, he was a casting agent’s vision of a bench scientist: shy, eccentric, nerdy, soft-spoken. But sometime this spring, with the FBI closing in on him, Bruce E. Ivins’s life took a dark turn that frightened his closest friends.
In March, police officers summoned to a quiet Frederick neighborhood found the 62-year-old microbiologist unconscious in his home. Four months later, he was admitted to a psychiatric clinic after making wild threats against co-workers at the Army research institute where he kept his lab. Then, a week ago, his therapist urgently petitioned a judge for protection from Ivins. She described a man spiraling out of control, making “homicidal threats, actions, plans.”
His death Tuesday from a drug overdose was followed by a revelation even more jarring to those who knew him: a report that Ivins had been implicated in the 2001 anthrax attacks, one of the FBI’s biggest unsolved mysteries and most baffling technical cases. Ivins, a leading expert on anthrax vaccines, was on the verge of being indicted in the case, according to officials familiar with the investigation, and took his life by swallowing a large quantity of acetaminophen.

The allegations of a possible link to the case known as “Amerithrax” dumbfounded friends and co-workers who knew Ivins as a gentle, bighearted family man who raised two children in Frederick, volunteered for community charities and played keyboards for the local Catholic church. His work with the deadly anthrax bacteria was devoted to developing more effective vaccines that could save lives in a future biological attack.
“He was passionate about it — he really cared,” said a fellow scientist who co-authored studies with Ivins.

is it me or does anyone else think it’s funny that someone who works closely with the anthrax virus chooses tylenol with codine to off himself. what, he couldnt find anything a little stronger? strange.

muymalgal I thought the same thing. Tylenol was very strange for him to take. I was thinking that if he really did what they said he did, why not just take anthrax?

Anthrax is not a virus. It’s a bacterium called Bacillus Anthracis. The spores can be grown in a lab (in vitro).
Ivans was a US Army biological weapons scientist. That should be all you need to know. This man grew toxic spores of Anthrax as one of his duties (was paid to do it) so that our shadow government could kill and injure people in another brutal and incomprehensible fashion.

This man was accused, tried, convicted, sentenced and executed in the main stream media last night. I watched NBC Nightly Lies and Propaganda with Brian Williams. The way they covered (framed) this story was shocking. Just get the script from your super-secret insane paymasters and put the story (as in contrived, fabricated) out there to the general public (the dumbed down sheep) and problem solved. Another one swept under the rug.
My guess is that Ivins was threatening to go public about something, potentially a new biological weapon, about to be released on us.

Notice How lately…in a very short period of time..and a very short “order” the Federal Loyalist Army has “Solved” two of the BIG question marks for the Public..BOTH of which are excellent REASONS WHY we should remain skeptical of KEY elements of the Federal Armies PROGRAMS and lies..
First off there was “Building 7″ a really big quesion mark..sill is of course..in fact that one really has absolutely BACKFIRED on the Federal Loyalists..RAISING more questions than it “answered” and even…pretty openly..ADDMITTING to several aspects that were considered by the MSM and others to be MORE “paranoia” and now..during their ‘Explanation” process, have become a point of record..
Second there is the “Anthrax killer”:..”SOLVED!”…at least in the ‘by-proxy’ subconscious mind, subliminal sense…NOT actually “solved’ but how many “citizens” (read: PLEABS) will get the facts straight..or retain the ..for them..”subtle” distinction that NOTHING was “Solved” at all…just..TALKED ABOUT..
Now the “Anthrax killer” thing is really important to the Federal Loyalist Clerk Army (FLCA..? what the hell..why not..?) because LATELY in particualr..like THIS MONTH the ACLU and MANY others have been STRENUOUSLY questioning and EXPOSING and talking about..the “WATCH LIST” and it’s INSANITY..1 MILLION names..20,000 names a MONTH added…I have seen MNY times…from many sources..the arguement..to whit: “If WATCH LISTS worked..then where is the Anthrax Killer? for starters? As well as ANY actual “terrorist”? Frankly..those ARE excellent arguements AGAINST “watch Lists’ and “warrentless surveillance” etc…etc…if these ‘lists’ are so critical..then how come there’s still a “drug war”…that is my final arguement..and i don’t hink they’ll be able to “sove” that one witha well placed ’surgical’ strike/suicide…but anyway..anyway…it just seems to me like they have been trying..of late..to “wrap it up” in a neat little package..

Why would this guy want to send a Florida reporter anthrax who had published embarrassing stories on the Bush daughters? Why did he send opponents of the Patriot Act anthrax, an amazing feat of timimg that helped pass that act, which was composed before 9/11 BTW? Not one word either as to his motives, just “he was kwaaaaziee!!” Another convenient “suicide” in a series lately.

There are several disturbing questions that arise from this suicide of a suspect in a federal crime, Bruce E. Ivins.
First, if he was under surveillance by the FBI, they should certainly have been aware of his purchases of medications, such as Tylenol with codeine. They were also aware of his treatment for severe depression. If they were watching and wiretapping his house, they should also have been aware of his activities within the household. Therefore, why did they not take immediate steps to prevent this type of action?
Second, this suicide also has disturbing “copycat” parallels. The suicides of Deborah Jeane Palfrey and Brandy Britton, also under Federal investigation in high-profile cases, to name a few. The similar suicide of Olsen (CIA LSD “experiments”) which also had a Frederick connection.
Third, the sudden selective leak of sealed confidential psychoanalytic files from the Grand Jury, questioning the mindset of Ivins seems to be an unusual coincidence.
Fourth, the supposed new “DNA fingerprinting” which ostensibly traced the anthrax spores back to the original petrie dish is questionable. The accepted protocol for a biohazard laboratory, along with positive pressure airflow, is the disposal of waste. Ft. Detrick has an incinerator which was purposefully constructed to dispose of anthrax waste. The existence of a petrie dish with an identical DNA fingerprint would imply predetermined forethought of evidentiary preservation. This in itself is counterintuitive.
Fifth, the participation of so-called mainstream media in the targeting of civilians is well known. The use of such media outlets as the Washington Post, WTOP/CBS, and others who act in concert with Federal agencies, CIA, NSA, to “plant” stories, engage in sophisticated mind-control techniques against civilian populations in exchange for political and economic favors is a common Washington DC practice.
Finally, although it would appear that Ivins acted alone, if, indeed he was the perpetrator, any and all other suspects appear to be very conveniently eliminated by his death. Meaning, if he was a participant in a CIA “Black Op” to engage, test, alarm, encourage to war, or any other operation–the evidence dies with him.
I would encourage any and all to be skeptical of government pronouncements. And, thank God for Alex!

Definitely the story of the week was the astounding revelation of
of senior Nasa official Clark McClelland.
McClelland supported astronaut Ed Mitchell’s claim that the military was interacting with alien races.
McClelland revealed that he saw an 8 to 9 alien in the shuttle docking bay on his moniter during a classified shuttle mission.

Joan S……..I was going to mention the Dr. Frank Olsen case.
My father worked under him and when his wife and children reopened that case years later, my father sat on his front porch for nearly a week with a loaded shotgun in his lap and told my mother “if THEY come to question me, I will kill myself”.
Almost all the men on my father’s “team” died of pancreatic cancer. We have never considered that to be a coincidence. My father, on his death bed, told me “if the general public ever really knew what our government was doing, there would be another civil war right here”.
I was born in 1953 and my father never drank city treated waters (and neither do I, to this day) and he refused to eat any meat purchased in stores and grew all food without pesticides or chemicals. It was good old fashioned manure and lime, only in his garden. He raised his own beef and chickens, organically.
He never used a microwave, saying “they’ll never convince me that cooking food by bending radio active waves is safe to eat”. I remember the argument that ensued when my Mother finally bought one!
I also know that my father had access to many chemicals/drugs, because he would bring it home to put-down any livestock that was ill or injured.
He also talked about growth hormones for chickens & cattle back in the 70’s. So, when those 3 reporters from Fox News were fired for doing a story on Bovine Growth Hormones, it was really no surprise to me. They were told the story was not going to air the way they had it written. They re-wrote the piece 80 times! Fox offered them a settlement to be quiet about it, but, they didn’t accept the “deal” and all 3 were fired. You can find that story on You Tube.
BTW…My father had a sticker on the door to his house that said “They’ll get my gun when they pry my cold dead fingers from the trigger”.
