After 9/11, Rove pressured the entertainment industry ‘to produce propaganda.’

The New York Times reports today that shortly after 9/11, the White House met several times with “a delegation of high-level media executives, including the heads of every major studio,” in order to discuss how “the entertainment industry could play a part in improving the image of the United States overseas.” Karl Rove attended at least one of the meetings. One of the participants in the meetings, former RIAA chairwoman Hilary Rosen says Rove “put pressure” on them to “produce propaganda”:
Hilary Rosen, the former chairwoman of the Recording Industry Association of America, who was also present at the post-9/11 meetings, said that Mr. Rove and other White House officials were looking for the kind of support Hollywood gave the United States during World War II.
“They wanted the music industry, the movie industry, the TV industry to produce propaganda,” she said. “Rove was putting a lot of pressure on us.”

She’s a WING NUT. This is just another conshpeerasee!! Actually, I sensed the shift in music early on. It was pretty blatant in films. I think the young people of today should be ashamed of the mainstream ‘alternative’ music groups. Don’t get fooled by the heavy guitars and the calculated screams. They’re all playing for the corporate piper. I realize there ARE other bands out there that don’t stoop to this but they just don’t have the heart to be heard.

There are facts that are unseen and uneasy to be visible, those facts are based on daily reality for many years. The criminals of the NWO have propelled the USA into endless war on Iraq since 1991 to which resulted massive genocide and resulted ruthless siege that targeted everythings essential for the daily life in Iraq that including the Milk for childrens and later on Iraq was invaded, millions of civilains were lost their life. Later on the criminal global elites decided to Commit more crimes on the free world and that was by creating the tragic event of 9.11 to which resulted the brutally killing thousands of civilians and that was to drive the USA into all out endless wars around the world. Those wars have created horror environment on all over the world and when taking a look at who were the most to benefits from those disasters and tragic events.
The answers are coming out, those criminals who were to get the most benefits and making more profits are the death merchants who were selling the false, weapons, war equipements and mercenarries in Iraq as well. The main objectives of those criminal global-elites of the sorrow NWO are to depopulate this planet and those filthy criminals already knowledge that such criminal plans are not going to work with a robust and prosperity of the world-brain of the high technologies, the United States of America, the filthy criminals had decided to inflect damage from within the USA and from abroad as well by creating horror and hetrad environment around the free world. It were not really coincidental that those false flag terrors and other criminal practices were to happened in that ways they were happened. Those criminal global-elites are involved laterally in the massive genocide in Iraq and that was by supporting the filthy and brutal criminal regime which are influential by the death squads and many other criminal elements. Hey #4…I’m being facetious. I know the recording industry is heavily controlled. Yeah they make a big stink about language on recordings but that’s just a diversion. All that language is just a ruse. Most of what I hear on the radio is trite and jejune. Its just a diversion, pandering to the target market group. They’re makin noise but they aren’t saying anything. Personally, people like Rover make me want to vomit. I generally don’t like lying murderous satan worshippers when they start taking out their beliefs on others. I have a problem with that.

Not just overseas, but also to push certain propoganda here, too. I can name two fan favorites…one with a decidedly libertarian theme, and another with a very “inside job” theme… that were on the chopping block after only one season, despite being fan favorites. (The second one came back for a very short season with a severily slashed budget after fans demanded it come back.)
Can anyone name these two?
And there is currently a third, with hundreds of millions of viewers world wide, that they keep whispering “Its in trouble”…funny that they are saying that since its going in a “New World Order is Bad” direction.
My guess is that studio heads were probably threatened in some way or other to get these shows off the air.

It made me sick to see the media coverage in the weeks following 9/11. They would play sad music with a montage of rubble and firefighters – it was like the marriage of fiction and reality. At least the media has lost much of it’s credit with the people because of this.

A LOT of films now have a propaganda message behind them. Luckily I’m usually aware of it and I just take the film as purely entertainment and ignore the propaganda, but I wonder how many other people do this.

Which ones are you referring to? I know of the Lone Gunman show from Fox I think it was. Then there was this show that was on Fox for like literally a month either last year or 2006, or 2005. I forget the name. It had the NWO symbol from the dollar bill and I think they mentioned the Illuminati.

The other one I couldn’t remember is Vanished. I only got to see like 2 oe 3 episodes, but man were they laying stuff out. So, I looked it up on tv.com. Apparently, the did finish filming one whole season, and it looks like it aried. Of course, it’s not officially on dvd yet, with no known release date.

The only explanation is that the media are in on it…controlled by threats or the moguls that own the media (aka Murdoch) and are signed on to the agenda if not the methods used.
Personally I take my basic news from Teletext on ITV and BBC, I then check things out on the internet…and in addition to that increasingly tune into Russia Today, France 24 and Al Jazeera.
From the well known British journos on Al Jazeera it is clear a lot of professionals still care about the truth.
