The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has brushed aside the possibility of any Israeli action against the Islamic Republic.
Israel is in a “weak position” to launch any attacks against any other country, President Ahmadinejad told Press TV in an exclusive interview.
Iran has made it clear that it is ready to defend its territorial integrity against any possible attack, he insisted.

Referring to a recent report released by the UN Nuclear Watchdog on Iran’s nuclear program, Ahmadinejad said the report reconfirmed that Iran’s nuclear program is “peaceful” in nature .
He said the report had no negative points except the so-called “alleged studies”, which has no legal basis and are beyond the jurisdiction of the UN nuclear watchdog.
Iran has cooperated with the IAEA with full transparency, he remarked.
The Iranian chief executive reiterated that Tehran is against this unjust system governing the international relations which he said is dominated by “a bullying minority”.
Asked about his message to the American people, he said, “We are friends with all the world nations and the American people have no problems with the people of Iran.”
“There is a unilateral one-sided propaganda that is putting a lot of pressure on the American people, preventing them to express their views and we hope these pressures are removed. Today the image of the American people is being used to support the criminal elements and occupiers.”
The Iranian president also emphasized that the United Nations is to be reformed so that it would become a truly democratic institution.
The UN headquarters should be moved from the US to an impartial host country where leaders can freely go there to exchange their views, he stressed.
