  • Ahmadinejad: Israel and U.S. won’t dare attack Iran

    Haaretz
    Monday, July 7, 2008

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday said his country would not stop enriching uranium, as demanded by the international community, and charged that Israel and the United States were too scared to attack.

He rejected as “illegitimate” the demand by major powers that Iran stop producing enriched uranium, which can be used as fuel for power plants, or if refined much more, provide material for nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, a British newspaper, quoting intelligence reports received by Western diplomats, reported Monday that Iran has resumed work aimed at producing a nuclear bomb.

    (Article continues below)

The remarks were Ahmadinejad’s first comment on the dispute since Iran
delivered its response on Friday to a package of incentives offered by world powers seeking to curb its nuclear activities.

“They offer to hold talks but at the same time they threaten us and say we should accept their illegitimate demand to halt [enrichment work],” Ahmadinejad told reporters in Malaysia, where he was attending a summit of eight developing countries.

    1. Joe in CA Says:

Let’s see, why doesn’t the US “talk” or hold sanctions over Israel about ITS nuclear warheads?

      Oh? Self defense, is it?

Kinda like Pakistan has self defense, and we don’t want Iran to have it?

Because then we couldn’t take its oil just as easily as we took Iraq’s?

I say GO IRAN. Hurry the hell up and get those nukes.

It’s a double standard to deny other countries the arms you yourself have.

It’s also a double standard to demand “gun rights” at home, while demanding “gun control” globally.

      Practice what you preach.

Israel is wiped off the map….

      There is no israel….

TRUST ME… look it up on google earth…
israel is gone… no city names, no roads, nothing… gone gone gone..

    3. JJJames Says:

Ahmadinejad is another pawn of the US interests… the same as Saddam. We never heard a peep from this guy until Saddam had been flushed out. What was the statement that made this guy as a “person of interest”? He poked a stick into the bee hive of the world when he out of nowhere went after the Holocaust. Saying that it did not happen??? One way to turn the world against you. Thus creating the new boogeyman.

When we go to war with Iran the people who put these people into power will make a mint. They will expand this fight thus stroking the Military industrial complex.

They will institute the draft thus thinning the heard as part of their population control while also placing anyone they wish first in line for the forced servitude to their corporate interests.
Oil will exponentially increase in cost pushing their profit margins while successfully culling the middle class… just as they planned.

They will also be able to institute all their plans to control us and completely gut us of all our remaining liberties under the guise of protecting us from ourselves. Placing themselves in the position which will appear that they are trying to help save us from ourselves.

The internet will die as well as all independent information sources that are easily accessible.

The dollar will die and we will be joined into the North American Union just like their plans detail.

Ahmadinejad is their pawn and they are using him to create the impetus for the next stage of their plan. Look at him call us out. Do you really think that the gung ho American ignorants are going to see anything but this guy … this nut… calling us cowards??

They have been playing this game… creating this global theater for years. There is nothing new here. The minds of the people have been corrupted to the point that they would never believe that a game of this size could possibly be created.

The people of this country deserve whatever comes their way due to their ignorance. That does not allow me the luxury of allowing that to happen so I continue to try and educate as many people as I can. Accepting worse labels than have been placed upon Ahmadinejad.

Israel is on the map, i just checked Google nikoli. sorry to be pedantic but honesty matters. I think jjjames is right he is a pawn.
but don’t be afraid, don’t believe our fate is sealed, this is what they want. stay positive stay powerful.

    5. D Miller Says:

Iran looks just like America, and Iranians look just like Americans with funny hats. HA HA! They have funny hats.

    6. Pynner Says:

It’s so funny that some Americans, NOT ALL, think the U.S is so big and can get rid of anyone….. I always laugh at this and you know why… cause sooner or later they are going to piss off the wrong country! Russia, Korea, China, and Iran (backed by Syria) are not the countries to be thinking they can topple just like Iraq… there are more people in the Korean Army and China Army then all the USA could muster if they forced people to join the army. Iran has a President that has been pushed and told how to run his own country, and has to do it with USA’s approval. So it’s ok for the U.S and it’s Allies to have Nuclear power, and weapons, but once another country tries, oh, they are building weapons of mass destruction, and they are terrorist, They must be stopped at all cost…… what a load of BS I can’t wait for Israel and the States to attack Iran, cause Iran will actualy fight back oppose to Saddam. Iran has a huge army, and it’s own navy, and air force. They have more people in their army who are loyal and committed to their country then both Allied countries and the Allies will met their biggest enemy since Korea (which USA lost that war) and WW2
Will this be the Start of WW3? Probably. And will it be over in months, Hell no! They Holy Land will fall, US will be beaten this time. As crappy as it will be, Nuclear war is upon us and millions will die in the U.S, Israel, Iran, and other Allied countries (to both) As i sit up in Canada(cause we are a peaceful country), in the Mountains and watch these countries blow each other up and hope no stray bomb comes for my town… Thanks U.S

and I don’t think we’ll come bail you out of this war like we did in WW 1 and 2…sorry!

    7. JoeBlowMe Says:

Hey Pynner! I didn’t realize that Canada “bail[ed] us out” of WW1 and WW2. I don’t like the elites who run our nation but I am proud to be an American. I am especially proud that we defeated the Nazis. Our brave soldiers fought to liberate the world. Yeah we are f****ed up now but we have done some good in the past. What has Canada done?

    8. Gerry Says:

If the US goes so does Canada eh! FYI We are all in the same boat smart guy.

    9. Len Says:

From a negative perspective, I would ask could it be that the United States (and 99% of the rest of the planet for that matter) is so messed up because of “hypocritical radicalism”? I see and hear it everyday in the news, in our governments, in these forums, on the streets, and even at work. In fact, the only peaceful nation on earth in my experience is in my own home. It is as if the entire world population has decided that it is okay to act like a maniacal lunatic and run around full speed into the future with not only a piercing knife, but also a machette, a syringe, a pistol, a flame-thrower, and an atom bomb. Humanity is going to get exactly what it deserves and in all fairness, it deserves a swift kick in the butt. If I believed in aliens, I would say the most logical reason they have not identified themselves to us is because they are quietly waiting to see if the humans will someday wise up, accept for once the ever diminishing meaning of humility, and thus by doing so, prove by our actions and not our words to said aliens that we as a species are good rather than evil and are also deserving of reaching into further galactic enlightenment just as they were so long ago (assuming that any alien must be at least millions or billions of years more advanced). Unfortunately this is just a pipe dream (because I don’t believe in aliens) and in all probability we will continue on a path of inevitable destruction without ever realizing our ultimate potential regardless of the rewards that would be attained.

By hipocritical, I mean the “do as I say, not as I do” philosophy that seems so rampant in our societies. Here we have nations that have everything and can do anything dictate to other nations who have nothing and can do nothing (up until now that is thanks in part to the way technology comes so cheap these days), that they must accept the former’s version of righteousness lest the latter be labeled an enemy of the state and as such, be condemned to destruction either by way of political, financial, and/or military means. Sadly, history has proven over and over again that untold millions of people who only wanted to live their lives to their own potentials in peace have suffered as a direct result of righteousness, with very little if any negative effect being directed at the intended (?) governments of such actions.

The U.S. and its allies have nuclear weapons. The enemies of the U.S. and its allies have nuclear weapons. Mutually assured destruction is guaranteed regardless of who is currently in the process of (possibly) acquiring or developing nuclear weapons. This has not changed since the start of the cold war. Perhaps the current trend to topple those in the development stages is a result of the West’s thoughts on Islamic radicalism? No, it cannot be as asserted by our own governments, for if it is so then why is it they sidestep and sugar coat every statement, image, or idea that has any reference to Islamic radicalism for fear of upsetting Islamic nations, yet they pronounce with great enthusiasm that no action is taken off the table when an Islamic nation does as the U.S. says not to do? Who exactly are we that we reserve the right for ourselves only, to mandate other nations into actions that we ourselves have failed at in front of the world many times over? If we are afraid of a particular nuclear radical Islamic nation from acquiring certain weapons for reasons of Islamic radicalism, then why do we not say so? Why do we give them money? Why do we sell our goods on their streets? Other rulers of the world do not hide when their religious beliefs are identified. One cannot (at least in this context) claim those rulers as hypocritical in reference to their religions and reasons for their ambitions to pursue nuclear power no matter what their tyranical beliefs may be. They state it plainly. Who are we hiding from? We have been led to believe that we are the most powerful nation that has ever been in power on planet earth. Why are we so afraid and what powers exist that could not be completely expelled into the atmosphere by us within a few minutes to a few hours of those power’s rebelious actions? It seems obvious to me at least that we are afraid of ourselves.

We are saturated and constantly bombarded by an infinite supply of elitist advertisements for products that promise to miracalously enrich all of our lives by providing instant-on gratification, the spectrum of which seems to exist from one side of the Milky Way to the other all for the decreasing dollars we carry in our wallets. It is so bad that teenagers and even adolescents are brainwashed into believing they should take a drug for whatever ailment they happen to be suffering that day and to continue on the prescription for life. Even worse and being of like mind, adults lead by example and are the first to try out any new and improved pills. Every one of us has become a junkie even if we have never taken a drug because if it’s easier, faster, cheaper, sexier, smarter, smaller, bigger, etc…we want it, we want it now, and we want more of it than we did yesterday. Radio and television exists solely as a pipe to push out a constant “this is what you should be thinking about” shaft. The only entertainment value (including the news) is by the elite for the elite who laugh at us when we embrace this shaft. Meanwhile they, the peddlers of the world, go about shifting the balance of power and financial wealth (the same ones providing us financial advice – for free and for fee) while we get comfortably numb and no longer concern ourselves about when the lights will finally go out, so long as we have gotten our quick fix for the day. Laws are enacted and retracted in front of our eyes without a single nay in the streets. Rights are “given” and “taken away” with the stroke of a pen in public and private quarters while we go on day by day wondering if there’s something we could be doing different to make a change and never following the idea to its conclusion, let alone to the halfway point where we’d realize that wondering alone will never solve anything. Wars are so persistant in our frame of reference that they are taken for granted as if a normal life without them would somehow be less meaningful, etc, etc, etc… Yes, we must be afraid of ourselves because if this is not the truth, then I cannot imagine that we would have given up the most important decisions to the elite in power who have purposely placed all of these endless diversions in front of us. The fact that we continue on this path of diverting our responsibilities only further intensifies this assertion.

By radicalism, I think I have made my point: we are as radical as any friend or foe…past, present, or future.

From a positive perspective, I believe this is a great time to be alive and to be witness to not only where we have been and where we are to go, but also what we once were, what we are now, and what we will need to become if we are to survive. The choices are ours and will never be dictated by others so long as we do not make the mistake of choosing slavery, and even if we do, I believe that will just be a phase of humanity that will one day come to pass along with all our other silly mistakes.

      Thank you very much.

On some articals on prison planet they say Iran is not trying to go to war with the US, on other parts it says they are going to attack us. Whats up with that?

    11. fydo Says:

Pynner,You are a joke.Attacking any countries will be stupid for the U.S. Iran or any others. But Canada could never fight a war with any country and win it.Isn’t that were the U.S.’s conscientious objectors and draft dodgers went to avoid war.You Pynner are a big talking bigmouth and don’t know your history to boot. The united States of America was conned into both WWI & WWII and just happened to keep the international bankers that own this country(and yours) from having to speak German. It’s always irritating to hear the peanut gallery run their bigmouths. One good thing about Canada, they have great fishing up there.Once while there I caught a LARGEMOUTH BASSTARD.I wouldn’t shut it’s big mouth until I gave it a good rap on the noggin. You know what I’m talking ABOOT Pinhead.
