Why would a general give orders to a private directly?
You will find that in a guerilla war, the guerillas source their weapons from their opponents to ensure a guaranteed supply.
How do they get these weapons? From the battlefield, the blackmarket and in exchange for drugs or illicit favours.

They’re not getting these from the battlefield, as there aren’t enough that would survive (and since hit and run tactics don’t exactly allow you to pick up fallen weapons from your enemies since you’re always running). Keep in mind, the M-16 is not a desirable weapon for guerillas as it is not known for its rigorous contruction and doesn’t use ammunition of which guerillas could find enough of. An AK47 is the kind of weapon a field soldier would prefer to have as you can bury it in sand and come back to it later and it will still operate.
The black marter is a possibility, some general or quatermaster making some extra side money selling arms to the enemy (like the US military is above doing such things). Trading for drugs is I think the best answer and is likely to be the case.
Of course, this is assuming these aren’t Americans or American intelligence agents in the video to begin with, which is very possible.

See my above post, however I wonder if the Afghan troops we supply use M-16’s or other weapons? If our “allies” use M-16’s, then it is possible they simply deseerted and took their weapons with them, as they do in Iraq.

Listen the russians had the man power and weapons like USA and did not gain in Afghanistan,they lost.
USA military won’t do any better. They will sacrifice men and woman fighting a war created by greed and selfishness by the war lords themselves.
The war lords I am talking about do not live in caves in the mountains but are high profile bankers on this planet living comfortably while good men and woman too blind to understand what they are doing are executing the war lords little game. While the military die, these people get richer by the day. They finance the wars.
President OBAMA is a deception a great deception. I believed in this man when he was elected,but now I regret he was elected. Or was he?
sending 40,000 military over in afghanistan will not make a difference. The russians were defeated and they had a powerful military in numbers and in weapons.

Yeah but the US is doing things a little different over there. For example, did the USSR give the enemy weapons and ammo? This is one of those “So crazy it just might work” schemes. The Taliban with the free weapons and ammo must be scratching their heads saying, “hmmmmm, something smells like a fish here.” Then once they load it up, fire it and kill some Americans with it, “Hmmmmm this is even stranger yet, could the Americans want us to kill some of them? Is that possible?” And eventually after killing many Americans with American ammo, “Hold up one minute, the Americans have tricked us into fragging them.”

Now they have to sell more arms to the people who want to defend against those weapons. And who’s going to hold those weapons? The oppression forces will need more kids to send over there to hold these newly-sold guns. And the banks are loving it because who’s got money for guns? Normally when I need some guns I take a loan out with a central bank with interest that will take years (if ever) to pay off. Then my country is torn up afterwords so I usually end up taking out another loan to fix it.

I think this video was taken at one of the forward bases that were abandoned by the US
a couple of weeks ago. If you look at the signage a lot of it is in English. They probably
didn’t have room on the trucks for it, so they just left it behind when they bugged out.
