(wasn’t it reported several hours early that Oswald was assasinated while in custody in the New Zealand press? that’s how I understand the discrepancy)

I hate to be the one who defends the BBC on this, but I’d have to say that this time round they did a much better job. Their first 9/11 conspiracy files was appaling and completely biased, but I think that was sue to their ignorance and arrogance more than anything else. I think they greatly underestimated the 9/11 truth movement and the infromation that was out there.
However this time round I think they did a more rounded job. Of course, as ever with the BBC there was the patronising pro-government tone, but in this episode they did provide a lot of information that I’ve never even heard mentioned by other mainstream media outlets. They mentioned the thermite, the nasa footage and showed plenty of comment from the 9/11 truth architects and engineers.
I think that people in America often forget just how little people in the UK know about this stuff. For people learning some of this info for the first time it was pretty shocking. Yes, 9/11 was clearly an inside job, but I’m sure the BBC aren’t part of it.

there is no mystery about the destruction of building 7 other than, when did they plant the explosives?

Neil… yes, to an extent I can agree, the programme was a better job than last year’s shambles. More topics were covered than before and things were talked about which I’m sure the majority of Joe Public were not even previously aware of (BBC reporting WTC7 falling before it happened, Thermite etc)
But it was still a hit-piece, just more subtle this time.. but still ultimately the same formula of ‘OK so it might LOOK like an inside job, and here are some questions that people have raised but our (government-sponsored) experts don’t agree so don’t worry we have figured it all out for you and it wasn’t. Case closed’
So it was a BETTER effort than before with more important things covered, but still a hit piece deliberately intended to discredit the truth movement.
You can’t honestly call that a ‘balanced documentary’. But, it was never designed to be, only to give off the appearance of one. Rudin’s masters would never have allowed him to put out anything else.

One observation…
The BBC “found” one of the “lost” tapes about the WTC7 collapse being “news” before it happened. Then they revealed that it was Reuters who fed them the wrong info. Fine; BBC innocent (as if that were ever the point).
Journalistic (or any other intelligent) enquiry somewhat suggests asking Reuters “Hey, how come you fed us real news before it actually happened?” Instead that idea seems not to occur to the program team.
Isn’t that an appropriate path of enquiry for any investigative report (such as was supposedly broadcast)?
Alternatively, why doesn’t the answer seem to matter to the BBC who are still presumably using Reuters as a reliable source for news.
Don’t they care how doctored their news feeds are?
Isn’t that part of their responsibility – to ensure that their sources are reliable and accurate?
Or do they want to argue that that particular news item was accurate, wasn’t it?
Doesn’t anyone who oversees the BBC not have anything to say about this?

The thing I found most interesting, and surprising at first, was the BBC’s acknowledgment of the ’swiss-cheese steel’ scenario, indicating a corrosion and thinning of the steel, capable only at far higher temperatures than fires could reach (even stating that this is ‘the biggest mystery’), and then never referring back to it again throughout the whole prgramme, and giving no ‘official version’ explanation for it!
Did they hope we would just forget?

On June 27, 2008 at a meeting in Pheonix, Richard Gage and others witnessed a member of the audience come forward with possible information relating to the bidding of contracts for the removal of stell etc from the WTC prior to 9/11.
Are any of you guys able to shed any more light on this?
Anyway, Alex & Jason, you are doing great work and I admire the dedication you both have at uncovering the truth and keeping the pressure on the BBC and the rest of the mainstream media.

If the BBC werent biased neil, they would look a little more into their own reports.
How can they predict a building falling down? even through misinformation? just one of those funny co-incidences? even though its the only steel building to ever have done so?
Time to point the finger directly at the BBC.

For those who missed the program first time and those who want to see it again, it’s being repeated tonight (Tuesday, 8th July) at 11.20pm (UK time) on BBC2.

If there is one thing that I would tell ‘truthers’ to learn from this it’s to resist temptation to use the F word (and similar language). Check your history, Eddie Murphy, who he now? Total history. Will Smith… Need I say more?
The message (9/11 truth) is as much conveyed by emotional as it is by reason, more so in fact. If we have reason on our side but use expletives (emotional turn off) it gives a huge unearned credit to the opposition totally voluntarily.
Remember, “Cognitive Dissonance” is not a rational reaction, rejection, but an emotional one. I don’t think reason actually does much at all when the wall of resistance is basically one built by emotion (fear in this case).
We have to learn to accept that the resistance to the truth we all see clearly is not much to do with reason, so reason, no matter how excellently presented, in Loose Change for example, isn’t enough despite it being as good and professional as any BBC documentary I have seen over the decades.
Emotional resistance is perhaps the biggest single problem in this info war.

But it does make an excellent platform for rebuttal, and a film-commentary on the Beeb’s hit-piece as well as insights from the making of the piece from Jason and Dylan’s perspectives.

When is Jason Bermas (Jew) and Dylan Avery (Jew) going to talk about the Mossad agents (Jews) that were caught on 9/11 with bombs and dressed up as Arabs? When will they talk about how Larry Silverstein (Jew) and Frank Lowy (Jew) are tied in together and a spie network of Jews was caught in Lowy’s shopping malls and infiltrated our government at every level? FOX News reported on the Jewish/Israeli spie network and Bermas and Avery somehow don’t know about it?
Would you trust an Italian who never talks about the Italian mafia but talks about every other mafia? Why would you trust a Jew (Bermas & Avery) who doesn’t talk about the Jewish Mafia?

It’s sad really. I grew up trusting the BBC and the Guardian. Not any more! My wake up call was June 18 Carnival against Capitalisn, London. The next day everything in the papers was lies. I saw the cops start the riot. I haven’t looked back since. George Monbiot was another shock as he was a bit of a hero for me. I also totally got caught out by the climate change thing as I consider myself an environmentalist. Prison Planet is not the be all end all but its pretty damn good. Also check out the electric universe site for science, a sister site to the Hubblesite. Anyone ever seen Jurassic park? They will never succeed in controlling us!

It’s all good, just remember that the more rotten the songs the more coins they have to stuff into the Mighty Wurlitzer operators hands per incident and the richer, more disinterested and less needy those operators become! That WTC7 programme will have done a lot of harm to the BBC’s reputation abroad. I regret that (being in the UK), but it has to be like that if the BBC is to be reformed, which it now must be. Like josh (July 8,2008), I grew up trusting the BBC, until realising what was happening regarding 9/11. The BBC used to enjoy a world-wide reputation.
The BBC’s previous programme shocked me. I wrote in saying that Goebbels couldn’t have done better. They replied that they were sorry that I thought the BBC couldn’t produce good documentaries. That’s untrue. They can, but in this instance they chose not to.
But now they have scored an own goal. They presented the truthers’ case rather well, and then followed it up with their own ludicrous theory based on a hypothesis which will come out of a computer simulation not yet run. Ludicrous.
I think now that either the BBC will do a proper investigation into 9/11 or someone will do a proper investigation into the BBC.

As great as the program was, let’s be realistic…these are truthers we’re dealing with. As Weick and Gravy said, it’s a religion. Nothing will change their mind. Nothing, Not even the final report. If the engineering community across the world hails the final report as genius, then the entire engineering community is in on it…we all know how the truthers think. Let the deluded be deluded. Dylan Avery knows he’s wrong just as much as Richard Clarke knows he’s right. Richard Clarke isn’t the one “towing the party line”. Dylan, YOU ARE.
Then Dylan Avery trying to back out of the “BBC’s in on it” claim in his movie, and then blame it on others. Granted it would be hard to keep pushing the insinuation while being interviewed by the BBC (and thus some what at the mercy of BBC). He could have said he changed his mind. And did you get his curse-filled sophomoric (or sophomoronic) rhetoric. It’s like he can’t shift gears and realize that now he’s talking to adults.
And how about Jones saying the WTC dust was calling out to him. Wow! Talk about beyond-scientific thinking. He’s dust channeling! That little comment really speaks volumes about his approach to data.
Troofers of some idiotic stripe will be back on a future thread to display their “the jew did it for the insurance money” obsessive compulsive disorder. Of course, that will require them to pretend it’s still 2005 and the whole “pull” nonsense hasn’t been dissected and discredited to a fare thee well since then.
