| and role model for millions of wizard and witch wannabees. JK Rowling and her books bewitch impressionable children, and even some adults. Even if not a raving fan, many people including many professing Christians, still make excuses for the author and the content of her writing, determining that it is just fantasy and there is nothing wrong with it. They do not think, or care, about the inevitable consequences of living in a society dominated by the occult, which the Harry Potter series is designed to seduce and recruit our youth into. In the article 'Everybody's Just Wild About Harry', it is declared that Harry Potter mania has officially swept across the Delaware Valley and created quite a frenzy. Mainly writing about the merchandising aspect of the latest assortment of "must-have" Potter paraphernalia, the Times staff writer asks, "Who's hotter than Potter?" Freedom of speech should be defended, even for those we may disagree with, yet the ''Holy Bible" is profaned and shunned, while the Harry Potter books are glorified and embraced. Biblical stories and standards are unfairly discredited and ridiculed. Though fans may gasp at the thought of Harry Potter books being banned, Prison Planet posted a BBC article on July 3rd, 'Australian College Bans Potter'. It's about the latest institution to ban the Harry Potter books for putting wizardry in a good light and mentions others having burned and shredded them. Joanne (Jo) Kathleen Rowling (pronounced rolling) is a skilled writer, who knows how to capture the reader's imagination to instill familiarity with the occult. More than 30 million copies of her books have been sold, supposedly making her wealthier than the Queen. Her advice to aspiring young writers is, "Read as much as you can, like I did.... Start by writing about things you know about, your own experiences and feelings. That's what I do." Rowling's books are allegorically and carefully written to be an accurate description of initiate training, in an occult order. Everything Harry thinks, says, and does is an act of magick at Hogwart's (more like Hogwash's) School of Wizardry and Witchcraft. JK has said that she is not a witch, though it is hard to believe considering the remarkable extent of her knowledge on the subject. She is well read and has taught English and French, which tells me that she is intelligent and knows exactly what she is doing, in writing about the dark belief system of Harry Potter. JK Rowling's biography, http://home.freeuk.com/webbuk2/harrypotter.htm, based on her interview with the BBC Arts program Omnibus also includes film locations, Harry's guide to visiting castles, learning magic and spells, and commentary. Also included is a news clip, with a photo of Prince Charles pinning an honour on Joanne, the Order of British Empire, for her contributions to literature. On a separate occasion, the Queen is shown visiting Bloomsbury Press (publishers of HP) to see Jo, who apparently has become a very important person, even to the Monarchy. Many locations were used as sets for the filming of " Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", known in the U.S. as the "Sorcerer's Stone". Exterior shots were filmed at Alnwick Castle and interior scenes were filmed at Gloucester Cathedral. These places have an interesting history, especially since Chipping Sodbury and Tutshill, Gloucestershire, is where JK Rowling was born and raised. The following links give a good description and background, of her childhood's spooky stomping grounds and inspiration for her stories, for those of us who have never been there: Short History of the City of Gloucester - www.britannia.com/history/city/glos.html Church History: Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucestershire - www.britannia.com/church/studies/gloscath.html History of Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire - www.britannia.com/history/castles/berkeley.html Gloucestershire's Historic Buildings - www.bbc.co.uk/gloucestershire/goingout/touristattractions/historic.shtml Guide to Ghosts and Hauntings in Gloucestershire - www.bbc.co.uk/gloucestershire/focus/2003/05/ghost/ghosts.shtml Highgrove House (Private residence of the Prince of Wales since 1980) - www.bbc.co.uk/gloucestershire/royal/2003/06/highgrove.shtml At this point, I would like to mention an article from December of 1999, 'Strange 15 Foot Bronze Phoenix Rises Out Of Prince of Wales Estate', posted on www.rense.com/politics6/iluminevidence.htm. This 15-foot phoenix statue with outstretched wings, nesting on top of a 60-foot column, and overlooking the Gloucestershire countryside, has not been publicized as an addition to the Highgrove estate. It is very strange that Rowling's last book is called "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and that the Harry Potter crazes hit full-force after September 11th, 2001. The first UK premiere was on September 9th, 2001. Could there be some real hocus pocus and hobnobbing going on behind closed doors? It certainly is not beyond the realm of possibility. In spite of JK Rowling's denial of being a witch, there is a photograph of her in a black witchcraft ritual robe, in an article entitled 'The Problem With Harry Potter', http://logosresourcepages.org/potter2.htm. This website has a lot of good information and is worth taking the time to scan through. It is particularly educational to hear individuals speak on this subject, who used to be in the occult and have first-hand knowledge based on personal experiences. Before renouncing his involvement, David Meyer lived in the mysterious, shadowy realm of the occult. He was absorbed in Wicca witchcraft during the 1960's, when witchcraft was beginning to come out of the broom closet. JK Rowling's books according to David Meyer, "Are orientational and instructional manuals of witchcraft woven into the format of entertainment. These four books by JK Rowling teach witchcraft!" One can listen to David Meyer explaining why Harry is so bad at www.lasttrumpetministries.org/audio/. David Meyer wrote in an article, "As time went on, I watched the so-called "Christian" churches compromising and unifying. I also watched with amazement as teachings from Eastern religions and "New Age" doctrine began to captivate congregations. It was a satanic set-up, and I saw it coming. Illuminist conspirators were bringing forth a one-world religion with a cleverly concealed element of occultism interwoven in its teachings.... In order to succeed in bringing witchcraft to the world and thus complete satanic control, an entire generation would have to be induced and taught to think like witches, talk like witches, dress like witches, and act like witches.... Now it is the year 2000. All of the foundations for occultism and witchcraft are in place.... As a former witch, I can speak with authority when I say that I have examined the works of Rowling and that the Harry Potter books are training manuals for the occult." He goes on to say that sadly, blatant witchcraft has been endorsed by well-known and respected "Christian" leaders, who have proven they are modern day Judas Iscariots. They defend the Harry Potter books by saying that good magic always wins and overcomes evil magic, which is the oldest con game ever, hatched out of hell. When real witches meet as a coven, they greet each other by saying "Blessed be" and part with "The Force be with you". Both sides of this "Force" are Satan (a house divided against itself cannot stand). High level witches believe there are seven satanic princes, the seventh one assigned to Christians has no name and is called "the nameless one" in coven meetings. The character "Voldemort" in the Harry Potter books is described in the pronunciation guide, as "He who must not be named". William Schnoebelen, www.withoneaccord.org/store/Biography.html, is also a former witch and a recognized authority on the occult, listed in Who's Who in Religion. He spent sixteen years teaching witchcraft, Qabalah, and ceremonial magick until 1984. Bill had decided at the age of five to become a priest and partially because of the influence of seminary professors, he also studied spiritualism, ESP, and white witchcraft. By the time he achieved his bachelor's degree, he was a full-fledged Wiccan. Continuing to investigate various aspects of occult power, he and his wife came in contact with physical and astral beings or "Spiritual Masters", through travel and trance channeling. They were told that different currents of power were necessary to totally fulfill them as authentic seekers on the Path of Wisdom. This included Freemasonry, cultural spiritualism (Voodoo, etc), Thelema (Aleister Crowley cult), Rosicrucian's, the Catholic priesthood, Mormonism, and various Eastern philosophies. Eventually, they were led through a gradual seduction process into the Church of Satan, then underground "Satanism", having received high levels of training in various areas. 'Straight Talk on Harry Potter' by Bill Schnoebelen should be required reading, especially for those who think it is just harmless fun.... www.withoneaccord.org/store/potter.html. "Muggles" is the Harry Potter term for non-wizards who don't like or believe in magic and are portrayed as being cruel, boring, and biased. Most serious practitioners of the art of sorcery prefer the old English spelling "magick", to distinguish it from stage magic. This usually refers to "high magick" or "ceremonial magick", which involves complex rituals that require a lot of preparation. Some of the activities in the Potter books are fantasy, but many are not. In his article, Bill explains how it all works and clarifies the actual meanings of terms, names, and differences in beliefs and practices. The true goal of every wizard is to become his own god, whereas the main point for most serious witches is devotion to the gods or goddesses of their religion. They practice "folk magic", which is very different from ceremonial magick, usually associated with wizards and magicians. Most magicians are either agnostic or athiest and the technology behind magick is mental, emotional, and demonic in nature. The magic world-view sees the universe as a machine that dispenses favors in response to the right ritual. Besides having strong anti-family undertones, the Harry Potter books enflame a spiritual lust for occult knowledge and power, filling children's heads with all kinds of dangerous notions. Essentially, a godless universe is presented, in which the most powerful wizard wins. These books are more dangerous than they appear, because whether or not the readers grow up to be sorcerers, they have immersed themselves in the magic world-view, intellectually and spiritually. Gradual and subtle changes in beliefs will become a part of the mindset, of those who identify with the world of sorcery and find the magic beguiling and charming. It is reported that children are not just reading the Potter books, they are re-reading them over and over again. These books are definitely drawing kids toward witchcraft and according to the Associated Press, even real Wiccans are "charmed" by the Potter series. The following is a long list, of only some of the appalling things that fill the pages of HP and the heads of youngsters: Animal sacrifice, blood sacrifices, rituals, cauldrons, possible demon possession, werewolves and vampires, astral projection, casting spells and levitation, crystal gazing or divination, communion with the dead, people can exist without souls, mood-altering drugs of real herbs used by witches and shamans, use of magic charms and grisly occult artifacts, lying, stealing, etc. Is this what people really want for their children, much less spending their hard-earned money on? The article 'Potter Problems' by ExWitch Ministries mentions "Fluffy", the three-headed dog which guards the Sorcerer's Stone. This licensed Harry Potter product actually represents Cerberus from Greek mythology, which is not a nice creature at all. Thousands of children most likely cuddle with this stuffed-animal at night.... Isn't it heartwarming to think of little boys and girls enthralled with and attached to this toy representing a demon? No, it isn't heartwarming, it is heartbreaking. A variety of great articles by Berit Kjos and others at www.crossroad.to/index.html, are recommended for further reading, In the New Amerikan Century, deception and deviance are not only encouraged and admired, but also taught and rewarded. Face it, this trend will continue to grow until the majority realize what is happening around them and refuse to support any form of witchcraft and/or Satanism, including Halloween. Like ships without compasses, tossed to and fro whichever way the wind blows, many people follow the crowd unable to think for themselves, or see the dangers ahead. What was once tabooed has become acceptably in style, while morally decent behavior is criticized and made fun of. The Ecumenical Movement has long strived to bring all "religions" into a One World Religion, all except for true Christianity that is. The Church of Satan, Wicca and Neo-Pagan, New Age Christian, and other various religions are welcomed to be part of this conglomeration, along with mainstream religious institutions. Countless wrongs have been done in the name of man-made religions and the labeling, marketing, and regulating of religionism as a commodity, is just another form of mind-control and bondage. At midnight on July 8th, children stormed bookstores everywhere to obtain the fourth book, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". This date happened to be the 13th day from the signing of the United Religions Charter, in San Francisco. The reader will have a clear picture and thorough understanding, of what the Ecumenicist and One World Religion is really all about, by reading the following important information: United Religions Initiative 2000 - www.fundamentalbiblechurch.org/Foundation/fbcunite.htm AD2000 Ecumenical Evangelism - www.fundamentalbiblechurch.org/Foundation/fbcad200.htm The National Council of Churches' 49th Annual General Assembly - www.fundamentalbiblechurch.org/Foundation/fbcncc49.htm US Army Rules Satanism A Bona Fide Religion - www.thelionofjudah.org/newsletter/Dec99.htm Satanic Subversion of the U.S. Military - www.geocities.com/lord_visionary/satanic_subversion.htm An excellent article by Alex Jones, 'Occult Society: Culture of Death', discusses how society has been injected with evil. As usual, his analysis is correct and insightful, while asking important questions to think about. Infowars provides the latest real news (an overwhelming task and valuable service), as well as being a big blessing to many people. Listening to Alex and reading the information on his websites are a daily priority of mine and definitely the highlight of each day. Nowadays, almost everything is convoluted and upside down, but no matter how rejected and unpopular it may be, the truth is still the truth. Since so many people do not see the reality around them and lack compassion for others, while accepting previously tabooed behaviors.... Then what's next? Legalized human sacrifice and cannibalism? If anyone thinks that is far-fetched, just type the words separately or combined in the search engine, to see the many thousands of entries in the Google directory. Please be advised to not actually enter the websites, the directory headings are enough to get the general idea. This is a serious problem that will continue to prey on unsuspecting victims, therefore, we must be very aware of potential dangers lurking in the shadows. Harry Potter is only one of many occult influences in today's society and parents must stand their ground against this cultural phenomenon, for the love of their children! |
