The average arctic temperature is still not above (take your pick) 32°F 0°C 273.15°K–this the latest date in fifty years of record keeping that this has happened. Usually it is beginning to level off now and if it does so, it will stay near freezing on average in the arctic leading to still less melting than last summer which saw a 9% increase in arctic ice than in 2007. There is a webcam at the "North Pole" (at least it starts out very near there) that reports via satellite data uplink at regular intervals. They also have a weather station with a once weekly data plot. Note it is still below zero centigrade there.
Latest data (updated approximately weekly) Readers should note that the station really isn't at the north pole anymore due to significant ice drift. - Anthony ]

See where we stand relative to recent years in terms of total extent here. We are using JAXA-IJIS AMSR-E data to track ice as NSIDC is using older satellites and the new director Mark Serreze has proven untrustworthy. The next two months will be interesting. Temperatures usually begin flatlining in late June which would suggest less ice loss, although the water temperature beneath plays a key role and all of the warm water that entered the Arctic when the Atlantic was very warm in the middle 2000s (now is nearer normal) may not have circulated out yet.
The other question is what effect the early spring Mt. Redoubt eruptions may be having. Are the sulfate aerosols trapped in the arctic stratosphere reflecting back some of what sunlight reaches the high latitudes?
Along the edge of the arctic, Ross Hays who worked for CNN and then NASA who last year posted from Antartica sent this note to me “They have me working in arctic Sweden until mid July. One of the Esrange staff members told me that so far Kiruna had had the coldest June in 150 years!”

Dip shits. Put a pot on the stove, fill it with ice cubes and water. Turn up the heat and place a thermometer in the water. Despite the blazing heat, the temperature of the water will not rise above 0°C (32°F) until the last sliver of ice has melted. Go back to your high-school science books and review the chapters on phase transitions and how much energy it takes.
As long as the ice remains at the North Pole, temperatures will rarely exceed 0°C. Once it is gone, however, watch how quickly it will rise.

The planet has a natural cycle of cooling and warming. To suggest that human activity would somehow alter this cycle or that human could control the cycle is absurdity. The planet was getting really hot, and really cold long before humans came along.
If there is going to be a period of intense warming or cooling, all the “green energy” on the planet is not going to change the outcome. Its all a huge lie.

Only one problem with your flawed reasoning is that the temperature readings are from AIR temperature and not water temperature. While the water has some effect on the air temperature the Sun has the biggest effect on that region. SO in essence the data supports that the Earth is indeed cooling and not warming as the AL (criminal) Gores and idiot environmentalists would have you believe.

You obviously don’t live near a large body of water. Air temperature is strongly influenced the water or ice underneath. Weather forecasts for cities adjacent to the Great Lakes always carry the modifier “cooler/warmer near the lake.”

So, its the Sun’s strong influence that keeps the arctic mostly frozen, eh? By that logic it follows that the Sun has little influence over the heat at the equator!

Its colder on the poles because the earth is round. The angle of solar radiation has less effect on the poles. As for artic ice in water, yes it won’t go below freezing, but the ice would shrink. It shrinks and grows all the time. It has had some record growth. As for temperature here, It is 50 degrees Fahreinheit in summer! Few years ago it would be in the around 90-100F, but each year it is getting cooler.

I think the Ozone layer might be the true one. These are my reasons (could be off base, more of a brainstorm)
1) The Ozone layer is crucial to the human race’s survival as it protects us against the harmful X-rays, gamma rays, etc that the sun gives off. These rays would disintigrate us in a second.
2) “They” are working ever more on “Star Wars” weapons, most notably HAARP. What does HAARP do? It disrupts the atmosphere like nothing we’ve ever seen before. “They” don’t want us critically examining the ozone/upper atmosphere anymore, so Ozone talk has gone in to hibernation
3) I think HAARP and the depletion of the ozone layer may be a great way to reduce the population very quickly, and they will be able to blame it on us (through carbon) therefore making us go along with whatever they want us to.
Please add to this brainstorm. I’m curious to see what others think on this. I’ve thought this for a few months, then the other day I heard Burmas ask why we never hear about the ozone layer anymore.

actually the ozone hole was a reality. satelite data was incontestable, and as well, the recovery fit projected theory almost to a T.
A world wide ban on CFC’s was certainly in humanities favor. Wish they would make the list a little longer. I am talking about real threats; chemicals that do not occur naturally, not integral parts of the ecosystem like CO2.

The South Atlantic Anomaly (or SAA) is the region where Earth’s inner Van Allen radiation belt makes its closest approach to the planet’s surface. For a given altitude, the radiation intensity is greater within this region than elsewhere. The Van Allen radiation belts are symmetric with the Earth’s magnetic axis, which is tilted with respect to the Earth’s rotational axis by an angle of ~11 degrees. Because of this tilt, the inner Van Allen belt is closest to the Earth’s surface over the south Atlantic ocean, and farthest from the Earth’s surface over the north Pacific ocean.[2]
The South Atlantic Anomaly is of great significance to astronomical satellites and other spacecraft that orbit the Earth at several hundred kilometers altitude; these orbits take satellites through the anomaly periodically, exposing them to several minutes of strong radiation each time. The International Space Station, orbiting with an inclination of 51.6°, requires extra shielding to deal with this problem. The Hubble Space Telescope does not take observations while passing through the SAA.[3]

CO2 is naturally occurring and essential to the evironment. Animals produce CO2 as a byproduct of respiration. Plants consume CO2 and produce Oxygen (O2). Oxygen is equally as required by animals as CO2 is required by plants.

Yes carbon tax etc is a scam. But there is a reality.. and that is the earth is self-regulating. The earth is inducing a fever to bring about an equilibrium of CO2 and Oxygen. The result is more heat, more desert. There is nothing that can be done to stop it. It’s a kin to an asteroid strike. What can anyone do?
Chemtrials are world-wide attempt at depositing light reflecting aresols into our atmosphere. It’s all completely futile. But worrying about the toxicity is laughable.
It’s kind of funny to watch people so absorbed with conspiracy and “freedom” while something so completely powerful and outside the control of ANY single entity threatens our entire civilization.
The conspiracy around global warming is bred from the misinformation from organizations, governments etc that will cling to greed and power even in the face of absolute destruction. You are right.. in that 99% of what you hear about global warming, saving the planet etc. is complete shite. But that doesn’t mean that our planet isn’t going to take care of business.
Get the facts. It might not be as exciting and personal as believing the NWO is controlling your mind.. but it is reality.

What do the facts say? What do the measurements say?
POWER HUNGRY people will attempt to manipulate the truth WHATEVER it is.
If the earth was cooling they would be all over that and milking the crap out of that fact.
But it isn’t cooling. It’s heating up, ice is melting, CO2 is rising. Man plays a part in this but the earth has been doing this since it’s birth.
Those in power USE the truth to manipulate. That is the basis of dark power. It’s much easier to decieve when there is a seed of truth in the lie.
They aren’t working hard at making something up.. they are working hard at using the truth to their advantage. They see this as a HUGE opportunity. Having you deny reality works just fine for them. They don’t give a shit whether you believe in global warming or not. In 5 years it will be very evident and they will be completely setup to milk the crap out of it, having cultivated more power grabbing systems.
Yes the media is lying to you. The lies are that humans have some control over what is INEVITABLE. they are milking you with “save the planet” bullcrap and carbon tax. We are on the cusp of a mass extinction. NO technology or human effort is capable of stopping this. The real lie is that there is no global warming OR that there is ANYTHING anyone can do to stop the earth’s fever. To remain habitable the earth itself will kill off anything threatening the habitability. The earth’s goal is not the survival of the human race.
Is the NWO going to stop an earthquake? Volcanic activity? Asteroid impact? Sometimes it’s good to have some perspective on the things outside of human control. There is a tremendous amount of evidence that suggests strongly that NASA are covering up all acitivity at both poles. They have had an international research center in the south pole for many years – but access is limited to those who are in alegiance with the NWO – simply put. As far as Satelite imaging goes – it has been revealed several times that NASA censors and ‘air-brushes’ every single piece of audio/video/image footage that reaches ANY of the MSM outlets, or any other outlets. What are they hiding?
Its no conspiracy theory that the Moon-landings were entirely staged. This we know. ( its hard not to – considering the enormity of evidence prooving the landings were staged) Beyond that – can we really trust that the images they are giving us now, 40 years later, of lunar/earth/atmosphere activity, are undoctored and uncensored? Of course we can’t.
Dozens of the arctic (and antarctic) explorers, in the 19th century, and later, saw “LAND” beyond and IN the north pole area. This would connect with the plethora of theories that exist on the “hollow earth” and such. Also worth checking out is Operation Highjump – which began towards the end of WW2 – where the U.S NAVY sent a fleet of warships to the SOUTH POLE to fight Nazi bases there. Yes – it sounds crazy, but this is public record – and was paid for by the Taxpayer.
Ultimately, we know nothing of what is going on at the North and South poles. They could be nuking the permafrost (deep blue ice) every day, causing gigantic levels of melting, and we would be none the wiser. After all, ‘they’ spent decades testing nukes in the Australian outback, and nobody ever was held accountable – even when people living in the surrounding area were literally covered in nuclear fallout. Kinda like when the French (NWO) were testing nukes in the pacific and nobody really cared then either.
