But the military and federal investigators pointedly refused to release further details on how the shootings happened, why there were initial reports of multiple attackers and why officials took several hours to correct news media reports that Major Hasan had been killed.
Most significant, officials were not prepared to say whether the attack was the act of a lone and troubled man or connected to terrorist groups, foreign or domestic.

Ms. Hutchison said in remarks at the base that while Major Hasan was the only one who had opened fire, it was still unclear whether he had planned the attack alone. “That is a question still to be asked,” Ms. Hutchison said. “That is not a question that has been resolved.”

Who benefitted?
This probably advances some aspect of a half-wit poilicy to go to war with Iran or at least step up the war. Hassan will probably be shown to be a relative of Achmadinejad or something like that. Remember this: Obama said io his campaign he would end the wars and withdraw all tropps. NOW to change that without any loss of political capital, something has to happen to justify the change. And Gen McChrystal wants more troops for Afgahnistan now. So this was the justification.
Who had the power to cover this up?
Well, let’s start with Gen Cone – God, the guy sounds like Gen Halftrack from Beetle Bailey – but within minutes there was a Crown Vic pulling up with a bunch of suits in it. FBI? CIA? Some other alphabet soup agency? They knew this was going to happen IN ADVANCE – they were just standing by somwhere close. Somebody had/has an op on and they are now covering it up.
The 3 Colonels who came out and spoke – they were saying nothing basically – lots of ‘well we can’t release that information because of an ongoing investigation’. Lots of ‘we can’t release that yet’. That translates to: ‘we are getting our cover story straight and we’ll pass that along later’.

“If soldiers come to me and have problems fighting other Muslims, what do I tell them?” Hasan asked Osman Danquah, co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, in August.
Hasan also asked about soldiers changing their minds after joining the military and inquired about other members of the congregation. His line of questioning sounded so disjointed, however, that mosque officials suspected he might be a federal agent trying to infiltrate the mosque, Danquah said Saturday.
“I told him, ‘There’s something wrong with you, and if you’re here to gather information, we’re not here to do anything against the government. We’re here to worship,’” Danquah said.
On Thursday, Hasan jumped on a desk and hollered “Allahu Akbar!” — God is great! — inside Fort Hood’s Soldier Readiness Center before firing at soldiers and civilians gathered there, military and hospital officials said. Twelve soldiers and one civilian were killed and 30 others were wounded, some seriously, Fort Hood spokesman Col. John Rossi said. Authorities are calling it the deadliest shooting spree ever inside an American military base. .

This IS what happened:
Five Ft. Hood Soldiers walk into Nidal Hasan’s office asking him to give them the necessary documentation that will declare them “Unfit For Combat Theater of Operations” and they are all packing heat. When Nidal Hasan refuses to give them this documentation they pull out their pistols and threaten Major Hasan and he still refuses, somehow Major Hasan gets a gun away from one of the Soldiers and they all run, shooting as they flee from Major Hasan’s office. Major Hasan gives chase and shoots three of the soldiers seriously wounding one and killing two of them as they flee and two manage to get away.
A female cop enters and witnesses Major Hasan shoot two of the three and shoots Major Hasan, seriously wounding him and miraculously survives and the media puts a massive spin on the entire story making you think Major Hasan is another Bad Muslim when in all reality, he was the savior of this whole event.
While the female cop is busy shooting the wrong guy, the two surviving Soldiers make their way to the theater and shoot up some more people and still manage to get away…..UNDETECTED!
This gives you an idea of how the Mainstream Media puts their spin on major stories long before the facts have all come in. Since Major Hasan, the only real witness in this is incapacitated, the only story you hear is what the other witnesses and the Female cop witnessed during this ordeal.
In order for the media to maintain their so called “Credibility”, Major Hasan will conveniently die from his wounds so that the TRUTH will NEVER BE KNOWN and the Media can maintain their Image as excellent STORYTELLERS.
There is a MAJOR AGENDA with the Obama Health Care voting next week and the Gun Control also which leads me to believe that this Incident has HUGE POLITICAL VALUE in DC before the Voting on both of these bills which goes along with Timothy Geitners statement “Never let an event go by without using it for political benefit”.
