Sean Hannity once again complained that 5 ½ years after 9/11, we still haven’t secured our borders. But I have yet to see Hannity indicate a flicker of interest in any of the other security vulnerabilities of our country or any of the recommendations put forth by the 9/11 Commission.

Tancredo responded, "Can it possibly be that greed trumps national security?... I’m not talking about just greed for money. I’m talking about greed for power. And I’m telling you, the Democrats are just as vulnerable on that issue as anybody else… because the reason for, the reason we have been unable to do anything is because we’ve had Republicans who see massive immigration, both legal and illegal, as a source of cheap labor and Democrats who have seen massive immigration, legal and illegal, as a source of voters. That’s the greed I’m talking about.”
