Why The Establishment Wants Terri To Die

It occurs to me that beyond all the known manipulations at work geared to kill Terri Schiavo, there is another factor.

As testimony was presented, medical experts insisted that Schiavo was in a persistent vegetative state. This, despite evidence to the contrary.

So what would happen if the feeding tube were re-inserted now, and if Terri's brother were removed from the scene? Suppose the parents decided to embark on a course of action that ended up with at least a partial recovery for their daughter?

What would be exposed about the previous medical handling of this patient, who has now become one of the best known people in America?

What happens when millions of people begin to doubt the wisdom of the presiding doctors?

Suppose the public sees what it considers a health miracle developing, day by day, news show by news show, before its eyes, as Terri accomplishes, say, a partial recovery?

A miracle taking place AFTER all the medical experts have weighed in with their negative analysis.

What could that do to public confidence in the medical system?

For these reasons, you can bet there is tremendous pressure to kill Terri Schiavo.
