Whats up Alex, my name's Nick and I live in Nottingham, England. I work at Capital One credit cards, Payment Assistance at the UK branch right next to the Crown Court. On Wednesday 4th May I was on my lunch break returning to work when I saw Special Police armed with Machine guns standing around flexing their muscle outside the Crown Court. I proceeded to walk towards my work building when an armed Policeman stood in front of me and said "Stay where you are, dont move". I asked the Policeman why I was being stopped, to which he replied "I told you to stay where you are, do as you're told". I asked him again why I was being stopped and what was going, when he started to walk towards me and another armed Policeman came running at me, grabbed me by my arms and body and pushed me into a Police van. He came in the van with me and shut the door. As the other officers gathered at the door, te Policeman proceeded to shout insults and threaten me hand on gun and trigger, with his face nearly touching mine, telling me "You fucking cocky little twat, I'll bash your face in". I felt like I was in Guantanamo Bay being interregated. I've been through a lot of struggles in my life, so this did not scare me which agrovated him even more.I didn't look at the Policeman and said "Yes, ok" repeatedly, knowing that he was in the wrong. He threatened me some more and grabbed me again to push me out of the van, where all the other officers were giving me cold stares. As I walked off The Policeman that had assaulted me continued to shout abuse at me, to which i replied "yeah,whatever mate". What happened next shocked me, he came running at me again, grabbed me and said "Dd you call me a twat, you cocky little prick?". He pushed me in the van again,wen another officer said "wait" and got in the van with both of us.The Policeman that had assaulted me continued the same ordeal, this time more angry, with more threats of what he would do to me, while the other officer sat quietly. He then bundled me out of the van again, and shouted some more. Also, While we were in the van for the second time he took my details and department of work at Cap1, as well as my managers name, and told me he was going to contact Capital One about me. What he was going to say that I had done, I don't know. I felt like hee was trying to bully me with his position of so called power, becouse I stand tall at six foot five inches and was asking quesions, and not becouse I had done anything wrong. I am going to file a complaint and possiblypress charges against the officer, and i feel that a Police State is real and on our doorstep here in the UK. I felt obliged to tell you of theincident as I am writing this e-mail the same day that it occured. I am a big supporter of all your work and feel like you are a great example of what we can acheive as united people.
