Cheney Pulls a Bush While Bashing Chavez

During a speech in which he criticized Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Vice President Dick Cheney sounded a bit more like his boss when he told the World Affairs Council, "The people of Peru, I think, deserve better in their leadership."

Peru is about 500 miles south of Venezuela; with the states of Colombia and Ecuador in between. Cheney said the people of Peru have "got to resolve for themselves" the issue of Hugo Chavez's socialist agenda.

The World Affairs Council bills itself as a group dedicated to educating citizens on international issues.
