A confident George W. Bush took the podium Monday for what is likely the last press conference of his presidency, fielding a panoply of questions on the economy, President-elect Barack Obama, and what he sees as the failings of his term.
Speaking about the Administration’s claim that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction — which served as the cornerstone of the president’s justification for war — Bush laughed.
“Things didn’t go according to plan, let’s put it that way,” Bush said with a smile, then a grimace. The WMDs touted by Bush and his advisers were never found. More than 4,000 American troops have died as a result of the invasion; the toll for Iraqi civilians is in the tens of thousands.

(Article continues below)
“Clearly putting a mission accomplished on an aircraft carrier was a mistake,” he replied when asked what he’d done wrong under his watch.
“Some of my rhetoric has been a mistake.”
“I’ve thought about Katrina,” he added, without identifying particular errors in judgment.
“Abu Ghraib obviously was a huge disappointment,” he continued. “Not having weapons of mass destruction was a big disappointment.”
Bush defended his decision in 2007 to send an additional 30,000 American troops to Iraq to knock down violence levels and stabilize life in the country.
“The question is, in the long run, will this democracy survive, and that’s going to be a question for future presidents,” he said.
Bush also refused to answer questions about pardons. Speculation is rife that the president may pardon I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff, who was convicted of obstruction of justice in the outing of CIA officer Valerie Plame.

I bet if you did, he would’ve wiped it off,
smiled with one of his charming ones and
tried to tell you he stood for freedom and
that if you wanted to be a patriot, you’d
supported his decision to attack Iran…

Abolutely
And he is delusional and he believes it that’s the sad thing
and what is really sad, thousands of people died because of, well his masters
remember that he is just a puppet
Young men and women were sent to their deaths, for what??? for lies
Thousands of others died for what? they never asked for the war, they had no choice
women, children, innocent people died by his hands.
But we should ignore him, he is a nobody I bet you in a few weeks time he will be forgotten
and another puppet takes his place. called Obama
I believe him his Administration and Tony Blair should be brought to trial and put behind bars
but it’s not going to happen unless we the people put him behind bars, and cut his balls, if he has any.
I am positif that he gets paid by the saudis and they F**** him literally, he seem to like it
I saw a picture of him kissing one of the saudis CRAP kings on the mouth.

And nothing will change with Obama. Nothing for the better at least. It’ll probibly get worse, racial tensions, crime, war with Iran, finances, corruption, conscription into “civil service”. Thankfully i’m not american, I have Steven Harper for a “Leader”. By-the-way, thanks for the S.P.P. there steve. We’re all fucked, North America’s going to hell. Everyone’s trying to kill us, no one’s going to help any of us, but ourselves. Our jobs and economy’s are lost. Fuck it. I’m ready to fight.

Man, that guy is really a piece of work.
I’ll bet his sins stack up higher than the Tower of Babel.
It’s just sad looking at this demon who calls himself a man.
Nonetheless, there is no way evil is going to get the best of us. In the name of Jesus, goodness, righteousness, truth, love and the survival of the human species will prevail.

How can somebody who thinks he’s so right be sooooooooo wrong? Poor fellow must have undergone extensive brainwashing for a long, long time or something. Amazing.

I have only one thing to say about Bush and Cheney and all the other abominations of egotism and sadism who are micro-managing control freaks and their boot-licking sycophantic lackeys displaying the fact that they have no personhood and are just dangerous predators who want to destroy everything they can and then feed upon the remains…
“Wolverines!”
(I have my own copy of the movie Red Dawn, natch. Watching it right this very moment, in fact. I can’t say I ever paid any particular attention to Sheen’s character’s letterman jacket in previous viewings, but I did this time.)

Totally clueless, delusional or the best patsy in modern times.
Worse is likely on the way as hard as that is to believe.

You guys focus too much energy and hatred on George Bush, which is exactly what the Global Elite want you to do. In that same way, you’ll put too much hope and hapiness on Obama which is exactly what the Global Elite want you to do. THese presidents are nothing but puppets that the shadow rulers put in front of them so to absorb all arrows coming from the general public. George Bush is guilty on his part, but are not the masterminds more so?
It's a beautiful thing! Reply:

I think you misintepreted what evan said, Bush-Obama are cut from the same cloth and everyone needs to see this. I agree Bush should be prosecuted, but Kucinich isn’t getting much coverage.

‘“Things didn’t go according to plan, let’s put it that way,” Bush said with a smile…’
So EVERYTHING was planned, right? Who told you to plan this? Was 9/11 part of the plan?
How criminal you really are, shooting your depleted uranium all over the place like a war criminal, and spying on us illegally to keep tabs on us, establishing a torture legal precedent, causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and abusing the national defense forces of America.

Bush is a psychopath. I don’t even think he’s a human. He’s done way more damage to this country than any country has by declared war. If his job was to destroy this place [which I think it was] he was a tremendous success. We’ve been raped people, we have the beaten wife syndrome. Many of us think we somehow deserved to be treated this way.
Justice to the perps, inside job without a shred of doubt.

Again, I love how he tells the truth while revealing a past lie…the Mission Accomplished banner…yes, we’ve been told for years, that that banner was already on the aircraft carrier and it had NOTHING to do with the President’s visit, that it just happened to already be there, and he stood in front of it….now he reveals (cause he doesn’t have a good memory nor shred of conscience) that that was a mistake…they shouldn’t have done that! Ha! Knew it all along that he was lying…
I agree everything about 911 was planned, and as we ALL know it was used as a reason to attack Iraq…and not finding WMD was a surprise to him as HE was told by his handlers WMD was the reason for going into Iraq…I think they set him up, too. I predict he’ll go live a sad little life, start drinking…but his lies, treasons, and felonies will not fade away…the TRUTH is going to come out in OUR lifetimes…He will be exposed to be the psychopath that he is.
