Chill out its all good.! The monetary system has done the job it was intended to do. yes its obvious to all the fractional reserve system will fail like all other forms of control and governance that have failed before it. And it needs to fail totally for there to be any hope of instituting a resource bassed system where the need for profit is elliminated. (see. The Venus Project) As to the degree the transition affects you is up to you.! Fear of unknowen and attachment to materialism is only your ego resisting change. I sugest we all contemplate how we would like it to be, perhaps a global society that is more inlightend without a monetary system. dont worry people have been working on this very thing for a long time. technology can be used to its full potential for solving problems as there would be nothing to hold it back. relevence of politicians and governance will end and with it crime purportrated for personal gain. look then to the current financial situation as our greatest hope for a better world where no one is subsevient to any other. take solice in knowing what comes is going to be wonderfull and better than anything we can imagine. only your fears or the degree to which you can love yourselves and others will determin your exsperince of this event. Remember wars, hostility, scarecity and the moneytary system only exsist if people are willing to particpate in them. my sugestions for preperations would be. sell your shares dont join the millitary or carry a weapon of any sort. if you work in goverment or any financial instution Quit..! move to where you can communalise and be self relient for food and energy forget living normally and start living naturally. and at the very least if you cant help yourselves or those trying to bring an end to this global slavery then just stay out of our way. no more yours and mine we are in this together.! LOVE it all and judge nothing..!

First of all, the deception here is that a “federal reserve” note is a dollar. It’s not, and never was. Federal Reserve Notes are NOT dollars. Get that through your heads. They are defined in law as “obligations of the United States”. Obligations ARE NOT dollars. The term “dollar” is also defined in law.

Richard Milhouse Nixon COULD NOT take the United States off the gold standard by executive decree. A Constitutional Amendment is required to LEGALLY do that. Richard Milhouse Nixon was a criminal. He is so right. Here is the fuller picture. Kissinger signed with Saudi to develop their oil fields if they promised to sell oil with the USA currency only.

This created foreign countries will to sell imports to get dollars to buy oil. America quit talking about import/export balance. This is debt one.

Inflated housing via Federal Reserve easy credit. No Americans can not afford to purchase anymore on wages they get. Prices must go down.

Deflation due to fiat monetary Federal Reserve’s easy credit. Now will take most of Americans wealth into thin air just like the money was created to allow them to buy.

So after deflation, property and stocks worth nothing. If government spends, printed, they will inflate essentials we need to live on. Then the world rejects our currency for trade. That will force the dollar to be worth so little that exports are greater then imports. Bringing those dollars for oil home.

Tunsami is coming, with stocks bottoming this year. About a year from them, that reality will hit the street. Then the world rejecting our currency.

What will stop this, Every American quit spending and paying debts off, and government cut debts and expenditures. USA is going down, what we do now only affects the recovery.

Welcome to fiat currency, Federal Reserve where only a few get rich because they know how it works. The rest claim future with hope.

I personally think President Elect Barack Obama will do well under the present circumstances. 2009 will not be a good economical year for the U.S,which will affect other countries as well. I’ve heard all sorts of wild stories involving this ‘Economic Earthquake’.
Whatever happens,we will get through it.

I cannot afford to get all paranoid against our government at such a time as this.

I doubt if “they” let Showbama get that far. To bring down the US economy is to bring down the worlds economy. He is obviously not prepared for this job. Expect a manufactured crisis to remove him from the job.
