BBC Hit Piece Edits Silverstein Comment In Dirty Tricks Scam

The BBC’s embarrassing attempt to dig itself out of a hole that keeps getting deeper was again exemplified during their latest yellow journalism hit piece on 9/11 truth, in which they played Larry Silverstein’s “pull it” comment but edited out the most important part of the statement, and in doing so changed its context altogether.
An army of informed truth activists are almost tripping over each other to point out the gargantuan number of errors, ad hominem smear tactics, bias and shoddy investigative techniques displayed in the program which aired Sunday in the UK.
Just one such example concerns WTC complex leaseholder Larry Silverstein’s infamous “pull it” comment which can be viewed in its entirety below with other clips included for context in confirming that the term “pull it” is industry jargon for deliberately demolishing a building.

However, in the BBC’s attempt to convince the viewer that “pull it” meant to withdraw firefighters from the building, despite the fact that according to NIST’s WTC collapse lead investigator Shyam Sunder, “There was no firefighting in WTC 7,” and additionally the FEMA report, which stated “No manual firefighting actions were taken by FDNY,” the editors carefully snipped out the last portion of Silverstein’s comments where he states, “and then we watched the building collapse.”
Cycle through to 20 minutes into the clip to spot the edit.
By deliberately removing “and then we watched the building collapse,” the BBC has performed a hatchet job on the whole context of the statement by censoring the fact that the collapse of WTC 7 was a consequence of the decision to “pull” the building.
The BBC’s zealous efforts to redeem its name by ceaselessly attacking the 9/11 truth movement accelerated after the broadcaster was shamed when footage from 9/11 emerged of their correspondent Jane Standley reporting that WTC 7 had collapsed even as it remained standing in the shot behind her head.
Questions as to how this could have happened and allegations that news corporations, whether wittingly or unwittingly, were being fed a script on the day of 9/11 as it unfolded were met with hostility, and the BBC claimed it had “lost” the tape.
The tape was miraculously “discovered” again on the eve of the broadcast of their latest hit piece but the footage was not shown in the program, presumably to avoid further embarrassment.

I saw this laughably biased piece of BBC propaganda the other day and while I was angered at some parts of it, at other bits I just had to laugh out loud.
I mean for a start, you have to ask yourself: I thought their previous ‘Conspiracy Files’ programme was supposed to have ‘debunked’ all the ‘conspiracy theories’ in the first place, so it’s a bit funny that they felt the need to make a second programme, wouldn’t you say?! I thought the BBC was supposed to have done the job already, isn’t that right BBC?
And while I’m sure in some people’s minds this programme has further cemented their view that ‘it wasn’t a inside job’, I have been reading comment boards since the programme aired and the encouraging thing is a LOT of people still aren’t convinced by it (just see Mike Rudin’s blog as one example!)
But what did make me laugh out loud was the BBC’s pathetic ‘explanation’ as to how they managed to report the collapse of WTC7 before it happened. Apparently as we know the tapes got, ahem, lost… and in the ‘confusion’ of the day they simply ‘made a mistake’ and reported the physically impossible and unprecedented collapse 100% accurately purely by coincidence.
But what happened to the tapes? Yes, that’s right they had been accidentally placed in the — 2002 — section!! AHHHH… it all makes sense now. Easy mistake to make isn’t it!!! I mean, when was the event again… Sept 11, two thousand and….. one? two? three? One of those, anyway. I mean it’s not like it was a particularly historic event or anything. I struggle to think how the female commentator was actually able to say all of this with a straight face.
I was initially encouraged when they allowed Steven Jones and Richard Gage to make some pertient points briefly and it appeared for a short time that this may possibly turn out to be a balanced documentary after all… until the end of course when the usual ‘it might LOOK like an inside job, but don’t worry it wasn’t because our hand-picked experts say so’ angle typically employed by the BBC was used.
The proponents of the official version were all shown in suit and tie with letters after their names, robotically parrotting the official narrative coherently while a clip of Dylan Avery is shown saying ‘I don’t fucking care how many years experience he has, he’s wrong’ like a hormonal teenager (I’m sure they had hours of footage of Avery they could have chosen from, but for some reason decided to use that part. Hmm…)
Then of course the tiresome ‘Truthers are terrorizing the victims of 9-11/journalists/Jane Standley/everyone else in the world and are causing untold suffering’ angle was trotted out once again. Plus they didn’t let Alex Jones or any of the most credible speakers in the 9/11 movement get a chance to even say anything at all, although hardly a surprise there.
But to all those in the 9/11 truth movement.. don’t let hit pieces like this worry you too much, the very fact that they keep having to put out programmes like this proves that a) we are having an effect… b) they are being forced to address the issues and as such are growing ever more desperate to shut the lid on public opinion on this matter. c) most ‘thinking’ people should clearly be able to see the blatant bias once again employed here anyway.
I sat watching it with my Nan and she had never even heard of Building 7 before.. as, I suspect, many other people hadn’t either. So this might just have the reverse effect than the BBC had wished and may educate people that there IS more to 9/11 than they already know. From there they may be inspired to go research it on the net with an open mind, and…. it just wake a few more people up! Quite the opposite effect the producers were hoping for I’m sure.
One thing is for sure, the BBC certainly hasn’t ’solved the final mystery of 9/11′ and this is far from over..

This disgraceful BBC/MI5 propaganda makes me sick to my stomach. I can’t believe these S.O.B’s are allowed to so brazenly lie and deceive the public, and no-one in thie UK seems to be up in arms about it.
Are you aware that this shabby, dishonest little Hit-Piece is to be shown YET AGAIN tonight (Tuesday 8th July) on BBC2. On Sunday evening it was shown on both BBC1 and on BBC2, making it a total of FOUR airings in what, four or five days!!!! The dirty, treasonous scum!!!
How many times has Loose Change been allowed to air in the UK? In Plane Sight? 911 Ripple Effect? Have a guess… that’s right… These important films have NEVER been allowed to be seen by UK viewers, and they never will. How dare the BBC make any claim whatsoever to being neutral purveyors of the Truth. It makes me sick, and I’ve had a gut-full of this vile, treacherous deception.
Would the craven producer and/or his MI5 handlers consent to a face to face televised debate on the physical evidence, expert analysis of existing video footage and the apparent multiple violations of the laws of physics that seemed to have taken place that day with Professor Steven Jones or any of the other REAL physicists who are pursuing the Truth? How about speaking to any of the civil and military pilots who all say it would be impossible for the unwitting arab scapegoats to have executed the manouevers of the jets? Would they give airtime to all the families of September 11th victims who are absolutely incensed at the US government’s treasonous lying and cover-up, and who are demanding a REAL inquiry and fully-blown criminal investigation to catch the vile scum who helped make this happen, instead of dishonestly claiming in a silky voice-over in ‘911 Conspiracy’ that the claims of the Truth Movement are causing enduring pain and anguish to ALL the families?
I am so angry at this disgraceful use of a lie-laden BBC comissioned program to be shown over and over again to further brainwash the public, and to try and stop the Truth Movement flushing out the REAL criminals, and their cowardly enablers on THIS side of the Atlantic who secretly want this war, because war is good for business and politics. God, I loathe and detest these criminals with every atom in my body.

I had a friend call me last night and say “did you see, they finally proved why building seven fell. Are you gonna stop believing that conspiracy crap now?” I’ve given up even responding to this particular person, he thinks Bush is doing a good job. He said the same thing to me when they released the five frames from the Pentagon. Did he even look at the frames? Of course not.
As far as Silverstein goes, I’ve always been amused by the fact that the Popular Mechanics hit piece claimed “pull” was not a demolition term, that 9-11 truth people made that up. So easily proven to not be the case. Why would Larry refer to the firemen as “it”?. Don’t you think if he was talking about firemen (who were never even in the building) he would have said something like this, “We made the decision to pull them out, and thank God we did because shortly after that the building fell.”

This reminds me of the scene in “V for Vendetta” when V blows up the Old Bailey — and the BBC tells everyone it was a controlled demolition. And no one in England believes them.
Wonderful technique from the Wachowski Brothers — terrorist blows up Old Bailey and the BBC claims it was controlled demolition by the gub’mint, the exact opposite of 9/11, where a building was control-demolitioned by the gub’mint and they blamed it on terrorists.

In this hit piece, the BBC tries to infer that the Truth Movement thinks cops and firefighters conspired to bring the buildings down; how dare the BBC. The BBC doesn’t show the whole Jane Stanley clip; how dare the BBC. They make it look like bldg 7 had fires on the entirety of the floors that may have had some fires burning on them rather than some localized fires in isolated spots on those floors; how dare the BBC.

I didn’t see the hit piece, but there is one glaring problem with the official story that is just never going to go away no matter how much they lie about it. Too many people know a controlled demolition when they see one, and the basic physics is that the lower structure of those buildings should have held them up like every other upper story fire in history. At the very least that lower structure should have slowed the collapse, but instead we have buildings falling in 12 seconds, which is free fall speed, right before all our eyes. That’s just the most glaring flaw in the official story that requires only that you watched your TV on 9/11/2001. No digging into the treasure trove of gory details required, and the mountain of other evidence that explosives were required to bring those THREE buildings down is available to those who dare to look into that rabbit hole. It disturbs modern man to see his media behave like state propagandists, but that’s reality folks. Let’s deal with it.

Man, I really doubt the police departments or fire departments would be involved in any such act. The fact that you people or anybody else who would think such a thing proves that you are idiots!!! Maybe I could see one or two people hell even a dozen people in on something like that but to say hundreds of people within those departments were all in on it, that’s stupid. I’m not saying anybody did this. I just “look at things for what they truly are and not what they want them to be.” I’m not accusing the government of doing anything. There is evidence that I’ve been reading for years, but I’ve never needed to know any more than what my own eyes told me on 9/11/2001. I’m not accusing anybody, but the truth is that thoes buildings were brought down with planted explosives in the lower floors. The truth is that there is no other way to bring buildings down that way. It may be a comfort to have the government tell you different, but truth will have the last laugh here you brainwashed suckers. I’m only looking at the evidence, and someone had to put thoes explosives there.

There is only one item need for anyone with even the simplest of understanding and the openmindedness to want to see what theie heart tells them is impossible…
Go back and review the footage of WTC2 falling… notice how the top floor section (above the impact zone) tilts downward and begins to rotate slightly (due to gravity and the assymetrical nature of the impact damage) and then suddenly disappears in a large cloud of smoe and dust. Two things are wrong here. Inertia (basic principle of motion and physics) should have kept the upper section in motion in the direction it was already going which means that it would have hit the lower section at an odd angle and then tumbled out into the complex itself. If it did simply disappear into a clud of dust and debris as the footage shows then how did it impact the lower florrs to cause such a catastrophic collapse. I noticed this with a day or two of the event and immediately knew something was wrong. If anyone can show me otherwise I will consider any fact based alternatives as to how the laws of physics were suspended by the falling of the upper sections of WTC2.

lokis: regarding your comment, there is almost no proof that the official conspiracy theory is true. Some airliners did crash; probably two, possibly three, and outside chance of four. The bush crime family and associated “intelligence” agencies are hiding (via ongoing felonies they are committing) all other evidence that may or may not exist that would support their official conspiracy theory — plane parts, body parts, surveillance videos, steel from the towers. On the other hand we do have video from several angles — I’m assuming you would consider this “evidence” — of WTC 1 & 2 collapsing at a free fall rate. This is DEFINITIVE evidence of the structure below the crash/fire floors being taken out in advance of the collapse wave with demolition charges. THERE IS NO OTHER EXPLANATION THAT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE LAWS OF PHYSICS — the top of a building will NOT fall through the strongest building ever built (the bottom 80 stories) at the same rate it would fall through the air. Over four hundred degreed engineers and architects know this and have signed a petition at http://www.ae911truth.org/ to this effect. Likewise, dozens of commercial pilots are part of a group called Pilots for 911 Truth http://pilotsfor911truth.org/core.html You have to ask yourself if you believe in science, if you believe the laws of physics, or if your state of denial/ignorance is so profound as to make you incapable of even being sure that 2 + 2 =4, if Shill O’Lielly tells you otherwise.

First you purposely misunderstand the lokis comment — presumably to get people arguing about grammar, rather than reality — then you proceed to claim that the Fire Department had to have been in on 911 if it was an inside job. That’s just a little TOO absurd to fly as even a half-assed talking point. One can accept the official conspiracy (assuming you don’t mind all the felonies committed in hiding evidence) only if you don’t accept the laws of physics.

Hey Ryan, I have an idea about how we can diminish terrorism – How about we stop our governments (us&uk) from illegally invading and occupying sovereign nations under false pretenses? Iraq is nothing new, Anglo-saxon governments have been meddling in the middle east’s affairs since the time of Christ, and they get sent packing every single time, even if it takes 400 years the Arabs will continue to resist and drive the westerners out. If it weren’t for the US intervention in Iran on behalf of England (British Petroleum) back in the 50’s, the “Islamic revolution” and the rise of Islamic fundamentalists as leaders of the region probably would never have happened. Our governments refuse to learn from their mistakes, in fact they are still moving in the same direction which caused “terrorists” to rise to power in the first place.
That being said, let me just say this : if our governments weren’t so transparently corrupt to begin with, I don’t think that the idea that 911 or 7/7 were inside jobs could ever take hold. Don’t blame us for stating the obvious, we’re not the ones who leave a glowing trail of circumstantial evidence which points us in that direction. Also, your notion that hundreds or thousands of government employees would have to be “in on it” is patently false. Intelligence agencies worldwide have clearly shown us that only those at the very top of the operation need to know what’s really going on in order to pull a false flag op – in fact, that’s the only way a false flag can work properly to begin with. That’s like saying that all cops everywhere know what other cops are up to 100 miles away, because they’re all “in” on law enforcement, which is pure rubbish – compartmentalization is key at all times.

First you say that there’s no way any group of persons do horrendous acts, whether fire departments or police departments. If anyone thinks so they are idiots. This is what’s called inductive reasoning. You’re making an illogical argument. It’s like you’re saying; water is good, because it is essential for life. Is water good? It is, yet sometimes it kills. Only idiots and the very naive, believe that no one does wrong. Larry Silverstein really screwed up and let the cat-out-of-the-bag when he said in that PBS documentary that they decided to “pull” building WTC 7. I think the reason he made this statement was that there were so many witnesses of the explosions that brought the building down that he thought that he had to come up with some kind of explanation for the explosions. What the old man didn’t think about; however, is that you can’t set up a controlled demolition of a large office building in an afternoon, especially when there were fires in the building at the time. Oooooooooppppppps.

I just watched the broadcast. Yes, it certainly was NOT fair and balanced.
1- It seems that the modeling of the WTC 7 collapse will be the key to counter the plausible deniability here. Obviously, NIST must find that the speed of the building collapse was a direct result of instantaneous complete column and beam failure due to fire. This will be the crux of their argument, because it has to be. The existing early release reports do not appear to support this theory, though. The office/cubicle fires appeared to burn out during the tests. NIST will have to demonstrate how these fires either caused the damage in a short amount of time per column/beam as it traveled, or that the fire did not react as shown in their early released models. In either case, their report must be certified and is subject to public comment.
2- As far as the BBC early report is concerned. it appears that Reuters retraction was drafted after the fact by some time, no Reuters reporter source was cited, no local news source was cited, and no actual source was cited. The plausible deniability presented here does not meet required standards, and BBC has failed in this respect.
3-Regarding Richard Clark’s statements pertaining to conspiracies. Perhaps he should be shown the local affiliate footage of the Oklahoma City bombing before reaching his conclusions.
4-Mr. Loizeux referred to “Fantasy Land” being the source of certain nanotechnologies, but perhaps he should be referred to existing projects at Lawrence Livermore and Sandi National Lab, as they are not located in fantasy land. His contracts with the government should be reviewed for NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS.
5-The continued references to “fantasy land” and other such terms appear to be the driving theme for this hit piece.
6- The fact that BBC did not interview firefighters with opposing views was certainly shoddy journalism.

How else could they collapse the buildings, if they didn’t have a reason for their collapse? Both the north and the south WTC towers were designed to withstand an impact from a large passenger airplane, and WTC 7 wasn’t even hit by a plane. So why did these three buildings collapse straight down at the speed of gavity? There is only one explanation: controlled demolition. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist (or a civil engineer – which I am) to understand this. Even a seismic event cannot cause a straight down simultaneous collapse.

Why did they do it this way? Because they could. They did! You simply have to look at the evidence which they chose to overlook in this investigation to formulate doubt sufficient enough to invite a new investigation.
Why did they do it like this? They have been experimenting for years with plans such as this which they could best sell to the American public. Could airliners be hijacked? We have seen that before… the answer is yes.
Could Airliners be flown into buildings?… it is possible… why not? that’s what we all saw on 911. It becomes instantly believable.
Has this ever happened before? Not that anyone knew of… so that creates a plethora of unknown variables that people could not have ever comprehended. Thus the believability of a total collapse. Without a knowledge of physics or the true scientific properties of jet fuel and structural steel… a fable could easily be created. Without knowledge 95% of people would believe that jet fuel burns hotter than anything they could imagine. Surely hot enough to compromise structural steel.
Why did they do it this way? Creating such a mess? The mess was part of the plan. They wanted this to be front page every day for years. Dragging out the rescue and the clean-up was just stroking the memory of this tragic event. Cost was no issue… they knew we would be the ones paying for it… from our pockets to theirs… that’s an easy calculation.
We have evidence of incendiary material in the dust of the WTC. Do you not think that they had the opportunity to plant this material in these structures?.. probably not with a member of the Bush family tied deeply into the security mechanism of the WTC complex.
I could explain to you the poor architectural qualities of the WTC complex as well as the desire to demolish this outdated structure due to the cumbersome qualities of this structure. The buildings would probably have been vacant without government and government friendly rental.
I could point out the desire of this administration to destroy these buildings to cover evidence of their wrongdoing being investigated at the Securities and Exchange Commission housed in the WTC 7 building. Money laundering and inside trading… remember ENRON? Georgie and his people made a mint off of that one.
I guess this would be easy if we could place these people under oath and ask them a few questions before the go Ronald Reagan on us and play the “I can not recall” card on this.

The BBC have done it again. I watched the programme last night and at the beginning thought maybe they were at least going to attempt a balance between the official theorists and the alternative theorists. Their bias started with Barry Jennings when they tried subtly to give the impression that he was in WTC 2 instead of Building 7. However with the blatant editing out of some Silverstein’s words the context of Silverstein’s overall statement regarding controlled demolition was lost. I knew the game was up then as far as even appearing to be balanced was concerned.
After the PBS programme a spokesman for Silverstein stated that what Silverstein meant by “pull” was to pull the fire fighters away from the building because it was in danger of collapse. This is simply engaging in nonsensical semantics in an effort to dig Silverstein out of the hole that he had dug for himself. Buildings are referred to as it. The word ‘it’ is a pronoun defined by the Oxford Concise Dictionary as “a word used instead of and to indicate a noun already known or mentioned especially to avoid repetition”. Thus ‘it’ in the context of Silverstein’s sentence refers to the noun ‘building’. People are referred to as them. ‘Them’ is the objective case of ‘they’, which refers to people in general. Silverstein has to this day refused to explain or clarify his remarks.
Towards the end when they trotted out one the official version appologists, Marc Roberts buddy of Popular Mechanics’ James Meigs and slavish follower of the Popular Mechanics School of Journalistic Deception I knew then that the BBC wanted in boxing parlance to finish with a flurry of punches from the official theorists. Mind you they were hardly knock out punches. Roberts went on to say that “they have nothing substantive” when Roberts knows, unless he is more of a cretin than he appears that the fiction of his bible “9/11 Debunking” by Popular Mechanics was thouroughly and substantively debunked by David Ray Grifin in “Debunking 9/11 Debunking. Earlier they had interviewed Gene Corley the head of Fema who has appeared on a previous TV documentary expounding the now discarded pancake theory showing a model of the Towere minus the 47 interior columns. He said that they found no evidence of demolition in the Towers during their investigation. Hardly surprising coming from someone who can’t find evidence of the existence of the 47 core columns!

Pretty standard stuff…when you ask them for evidence such as people coming forward saying they saw or videotape of WTC 7 being rigged for demolition (how come no one seen anything when they rigged it) you get nothing except funny little rhymes about “Lyin Ryan”.
Why did they not “Pull” WTC 7 when tower 1 or 2 fell?

The free-fall speed is achieved when the falling object does not have any obstacle in its falling path.
Twin towers had so many obstacles in its falling path but nevertheless fell down at free-fall speed.

Do your own simple experiment.
Experiment 1:
Drop two beach balls of same size simultaneously at the same height.
Notice they reached the ground at the same time.
These balls fell down to the ground at free-fall speed.
The gravity is responsible for this.
Experiment 2:
Now drop the two balls again simultaneously at the same height but this time, let other person(s) hold the several pieces of A4 size or bigger papers and put each pieces of papers separately in the falling path of one of these balls.
Which ball reached the ground first?
The correct answer is the ball falling down to the ground without any obstacle(in this case, the several pieces of papers and hands).
If anyone says that two balls in the experiment 2 landed on the ground at the same time, you know he or she is lying.

So let me try and understand? The tapes of that reporter that reported WTC 7 had fallen 20 Min.s before it actually did were misplaced because they were filed in the 2002 archive. Was that from day one, because I’m wondering why they would have a 2002 archive in 2001?

Twin towers and building 7 fell down to the ground at free-fall speed.
This means all those obstacles (in this case, giant steel beams, many people, concrete walls, desks, etc) in the falling paths of the buildings were cleared when they began to fall down.
Could fire alone get rid of all the obstacles in the falling paths of twin towers and wtc7 on that day?
No. The explosives or some kind of top-secret weapon could do it and the buildings had no obstacles left in their falling paths and fell down to the ground at free-fall speed.

I’ve got an Acrobat file of a document SHOWING the core colums, that the 911 commision was mislead into believeing weren’t there.
Does this prove Gov’t complicity in 911? No. It IS however evidence of a cover up , of some sort AFTER the fact.

For context, the Document is written by a structural engineer, with good experience in bldg. performance in fires.
He concludes it was a little fire, and a lot of the damage that caused the colaps.
