Today on his radio show, conservative talker and future Fox News personality Glenn Beck suggested that states should “secede” from the union to protest the recent string of Wall Street bailouts:
BECK: So the question is, do states have the right to secede anymore? Because it was a compact. It’s not perpetual. In fact, in the Declaration of Independence it says it is our right, it is our responsibility to get away from a government who doesn’t listen to us any more.Do you even have a right to do that as a state any more? Do you have the right to say, “You know what, you guys are going down a path that I don’t even agree with”? Is that even possible?

Truly, this is the best idea I’ve heard of yet! Imagine if Texas did this & announced that Baby Bush would be arrested as soon as he set foot there. What states do Cheney, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, & Rove belong to?
So, Dr. Paul, what do you think?
November 26th, 2008 at 6:04 am
God bless Glenn. Would this get us out of rex 84, the nau and amero situation. I fear martial law more than going broke. Tracked, maaad and over it, TCB.

whoa! I can’t believe I actually agree with that jerk Beck.
November 26th, 2008 at 6:25 am
Does anyone know how to embed that small audio clip onto a website that they have posted above??? I cant believe Beck said that——this guy amazes me. One day he’ll say the stupidest shit you’ve ever heard, the next he’ll have a GREAT idea like seceding from the Union! And he’s going to FOX News? I bet ya they’re rethinking that now!
November 26th, 2008 at 6:28 am
In fact, Beck is wrong about one thing, but he would be glad he’s wrong about this: The Declaration of Independence says it is our DUTY to throw off the old corrupt government. So, what it actually DOES say sides with Beck even more.
November 26th, 2008 at 6:31 am
Cheney is from Wyoming. He is considered a type of “GOD” here. When he was a member of the House of Reps he did a lot of good stuff for the stat – then came the power. Unfortunately, most people in this State still love him. Gonzales and Rove are both Texans. Rumsfeld has been in Washington so long, that might actually be his home.

Glenn Beck spouting sedition, treason, is not surprising, his ilk really do wish for their own little kingdoms where they can practice their racism, bigotry unfettered by a US constitution, just listened to Michael Savage on 104.1 FM Tucson, Az, spout the same rhetoric but he went one step further, he on open airwaves, advocated a military coup by our military, which I think he might have stepped over the line n that one, since that sounds like open sedition, and that is illegal, might be funny to see Michael Savage perp walked out of his home in cuffs, indicted for “sedition”, sent to a federal prison, where he can experience some life altering experiences! I find the right wing hate radio and their brothers on television such as Glenn Beck poster children for the legislation of the ‘fairness doctrine on public airwaves”, they dominate the FM/AM radio airwaves, which is owned by us the citizens, making their use of it free, one might call them radio welfare queens, another nut job Neal Boortz is clammering for USA split up, advocating education tests for right to vote, one can guess Boortz missed the memo decades ago, from the US supreme court outlawing the jim crow education test laws he is advocating being re-established, one would truly see a nightmare in any state which the Becks, Boortz’s, Savages were able to dominate in, one can bet many would flee these hot beds of racist insanity!
November 26th, 2008 at 6:44 am
…beck once said: ‘arrest the 9/11 thuthers!…it is Constitutional for We the People to throw off a corupted government….watch beck as he plays both sides of the fence!
November 26th, 2008 at 6:45 am
http://boortz.com/
above is link to neal boortz web site, if anyone wishes to hear real insanity from the right wing one can view his rants, raves there, his fan base is without a doubt the nazi swastika wearing skin heads, aryan brotherhood, klu klux klan, hispanic persecuting minute men rambo want a be’s, also one can hear him daily on 104.1 FM radio nation wide, he likes to call himself “Mightey Whitey” on his web page! He is truly disgusting, but entertaining, and another poster child for “fairness doctrine enactment”!
November 26th, 2008 at 6:47 am
Glenn Back taking sense?
There’s first for everything I guess.
November 26th, 2008 at 7:22 am
To get the american poeple to work as a single group I think there may only be one way. The people at the top have figured this out. you have to make them fear everything! The ingnorant will not move unless you scare them! It’s a sad fact but true. That will hold the truth back I’m afraid. There is not enough (yet) inteelegent people awake to move the masses.Somthing needs to get stirred up if it takes a succession then fine do it get some people awake and thinking for themselves.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:01 am
Good job Beck keep it up!!
November 26th, 2008 at 8:01 am
Intelligent? Is that what you meant? Would that posit you as one of the easily scared and yet shiftless masses. I agree with you, but one must check their spelling.
However, the seccession of states only served to expand the police power of the Federal Government in the past, i.e. the Civil War. The much-respected and revered President Lincoln ordered the death of some 350K of his countrymen to preserve Beck’s “tenative compact.” In short, we gave tem the power, and they will never give it back.
Revolution, on the other hand, would be a general uprising which would be more difficult to quell. We need a general awakening, not a vilification of certain states in the media. We need to wake up or die in our slumber. We must rise now, or forever hold our piece.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:10 am
I read a book awhile back; I think the title is “The Real Lincoln”. In it, the author states that, up until the time of the civil war, there was no question as to the right of the states to secede. It was generally conceded that the states chose to be part of the union and could, likewise, leave the union. Obviously, the southern states were not allowed to secede. Why would it be different now? Also, there were other secession movements; one being the “middle state” that included Delaware.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:21 am
maybe this is the plan….to further weaken the u.s. get its component parts to succeed like the russian analyst predicted.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:50 am
Nature has a very weired sense of humor, in that it always pays back one with his / her own coin. USA has been instrumental in breaking a number of countries around the world and it is now thier turn.
Remember good old British Raj? Sun never set in the Raj. When every thing was going their way they became greedy and orchaastrated Financial Tsunamis of their time via North Sea Exploration, breaking India, dividing Middle East according to their will. Try and stage manage the two world wars, then the lost every thing by 1948.
History repeats because we suffer from Selective Memory Syndrome.
November 26th, 2008 at 8:56 am
How about just arresting all the Bushie criminals who are responsible for totally destroying our banking and economical system. We must without further debate prosecute all those neocon idiots who pissed on the American Constitution and the personal liberties that once defined our once free nation.
All this complicit talk about not prosecuting the Bush Cabal by the Obama folks is really laughable. These elitist retards are trying real hard to convince Americans that prosecutions cannot be accomplished because of the combative properties of the unconstitutional two party system they have imposed on an unsuspecting populace.
The truth is Barack Obama or any other career politician for that matter Constitutionally lack the legal authority to ignore our laws or as they have done create a two tier system of justice, one for political crooks and one for the working class American. The only way this miscarrage of justice will prevail is if we the people have degraded to a point we now lack the will, courage and collective resolve to act in our own interests. Have we become a nation of cowards? That question will be answered by just this situation.
People, these crooks have broken just about every law on the books and we must demand criminal prosecution of those involved, a reversal of unconstitutional law perpetrated by crooks and liars and most certainly the convescation of all their stolen assets. The alternative to this action is the calculated demise of this once great Constitutional Republic.
November 26th, 2008 at 9:03 am
What’s this? Glenn Beck talking again? Where was he during the latter half of the election?
(Don’t tell me he was cancelled because of a business deal)
November 26th, 2008 at 9:14 am
FEMA has been divided into 10 regions.
The US is no longer a country.
You just haven’t been told yet.
November 26th, 2008 at 9:16 am
That is exactly what the illuminati are planning. Shoot yourself in the foot, but please do not come after the fed or private illuminus investment class. Fight amongst yourselfs so that america can be united with the help of united nations and foreign troops!!! Remember anything that GLENN BECK says is TO SET YOU UP.
WARNING: Do not be fooled by glenns chameleon patriotism!!!

If you had a contract with the Garbage company, and they violated thier part of the contract by not picking up you trash anymore, would you ask if you had the right to stop paying them?
The FED has been violating various parts of the Constitution in increasing severity and quantity since at least, the Civil War, and in 1913, ad nauseum. The contract is broken. Are you all just standing around waiting for the FED appointed Supreme Court to tell you it’s true, and that the contract is null and void?
November 26th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Didn’t Oklahoma do this already?
November 26th, 2008 at 9:47 am
Beck is a scumbag
Yesterday, the 25th nov I heard him joke how Obama should create 2million jobs by “creating internment camps” and staff the camps with those 2 mill people. He thought it was FUNNY. It absolutly disgusted me and I had to change the channel. I had only been listening for 10 minutes.
He’s a judas goat that needs to be off the air at the very least.
November 26th, 2008 at 10:46 am
And to think that Glen had the nerve to call me un-American when I told him that I couldn’t accept Obama as my president. I called to take him to task the day after the election when he stated that the slate was now wiped clean and that we should get behind and support Obama until he does something to cause us not to support him. I asked him how he could now support someone that he had been trashing for the last few months. Now he is suggesting that states secede. Oh well. And he also got all bent out of shape and GOMP’ed me (Get Off My Phone!) while I was trying to have a conversation with him.
November 26th, 2008 at 11:23 am
Secession is our only hope for survival
November 26th, 2008 at 11:45 am
No Glenn, the states should seceed because the FED exists in the first place.
Period.
November 26th, 2008 at 11:47 am
If it is a right to secede, don’t expect the group of criminals to let us know about it. They’re just handing about trillions, and they’re not even saying what programs it’s under. They’ve created about 5 programs, and several of them have not even been given names. So, what this amounts to is highway robbery, and the National Debt has shot up passed who know where. ($40,000 per American) America has long sense passed FUBAR.
November 26th, 2008 at 11:51 am
He’s a tool of the CIA anything he says is to throw U.S. citizens into FEMA camps while he goes on air behind the scenes laughing at the hi-jinks to follow. This is exactly what FOX and most of their talking bloviators do over on FOX. ABCCNNNBCBS isn’t much better.
November 26th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Glen Beck is a flip flopper and a dick obviously.. but that’s neither here nor blah blah. The thing is.. we were not free for long as a society. We’re young compared to the world and how it was lived since the start of “rulers”. The good ones fought a war after they came here and they won us the thought of freedom and so everyone liked it and saw it was good and they came in by the droves. There are too many and we don’t know who they are and the ones who want this back.. who fought us and lost, they know that and this is how they are doing it. Right now is how they have planned and plotted for the few little centuries we’ve played this game. The majority of the people in this country aren’t even aware enough to care. It’s not over yet.. first we have to die and then maybe a new batch of good ones will end up somewhere and try again.. but I’m sure wherever this history is stored will not survive either.. and will be yet another conspiracy theory.. a tale.. like atlantis. The end
November 26th, 2008 at 12:04 pm
I am sorry, but Glenn Beck gets it. He understands what our Constitution stands for and means and it DOES NOT match what our government is doing to us. He is not as radical as Alex, but he knows what the shadow government/corporate greedhounds/world bankers are doing to us, right under our noses. He also has a (call it wierd) sense of humor that could give you the wrong impression with the way he says certain things.

In this particular comment he is suggesting ONE possible way to take control of our Country and destiny, before we have NO rights left. This is not unamerican, Blindly following the crap that is being handed to us right now is. We have a right and a DUTY to take back our government. If ANY of you geniuses can suggest a better way, before we all end up with NO rights, let’s here it. Until then, maybe you should listen more and blog less!!
November 26th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
Hey.. “I get is says”.. what are you doing BESIDES blogging how fucking brilliant a man you don’t know is? People like you question nothing, except what goes against your silly little heros… and movie stars. People who question everyone and everything are the ones holding down the fort. So shut it. You’re welcome
November 26th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
When the states do secede, I wonder what they will say caused this second civil war? Homo rights? They said the last civil war was over slavery. That was a lie. Slavery was already dying in the south.
November 26th, 2008 at 1:25 pm
they will now be backing (via the cia) white supremasists groups to welcome barry (obama) into office.. they will try to demonise militias like they did withy the false flag mc vey bomb… thats is how the civil war will be reported its so transparent.. they will balme it on a race war.. this is how the rest of earths sheeple will veiw the impending nonsnese.. such a shame
November 26th, 2008 at 1:36 pm

It’s nice to see how many idiots actually listen to this nonsense. Get a life!!! Better yet, go back to school and take a few courses in economics. And, by the way, the question of secession was settled in the Civil War, like it or not.
November 26th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
No need to secede.
All we need to do to unseat our rulers is stop using their money. When we switch to an alternative currency their system will fall. The central banks will dissolve and their political actors will be out of a job.
Click the link below to explore a new inflation-proof currency, new economic format and new social structure that leaves the criminal bankers and corrupt politicians out of the picture altogether.

truthmonster, I see your heart is in the right place. But the Constitution is not broken. Our government is. If it is followed like it should have been then the three branches of government will balance each other out. But the Republicans and the Democrats have become so to the right and to the left that they don’t really see the big picture anymore.

November 26th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
Two problems:
1) The American people are too dumb to know what’s going on. If they were smart they would have voted for Ron Paul instead of Barack O or John M. Then there would be no need to secede.
2) The last time states tried to secede it was not successful and only resulted in the bloodiest war in American history.
The bailout is only a symptom of a much bigger problem; the government no longer abides by the constitution. If the American people understood the constitution and how important it is they would elect representatives who would support it. And we would not have all these problems. But the people are totally clueless about the constitution so they elect representatives who walk all over the constitution. If that continues we will soon lose our constitution and all the rights it protects. The people will find themselves living in tyranny and wondering how it happened.
If Glenn Beck wants to do something maybe he should use his show to educate the people about the constitution.
November 26th, 2008 at 3:37 pm
DAMN SITES WONT LET ME POST SOMETHING.
WE NEED TO FORM AND STAFF A WHOLE CONSTITUTIONAL PARTY, AND VOTE THEM ALL IN OR AS MANY AS WE CAN.
2) The last time states tried to secede it was not successful and only resulted in the bloodiest war in American history
YOU AINT SEEN NOTHING YET, STAY TUNED.

RON PAUL WAS A STOOGE, TIMID OLD MAN DOESNT HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY ON TV THAT 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB.
WE NEED A FEARLESS LEADER.

In response to post #56. No sir, he said what he could. If he would of come right out and said it, that would of been political suicide, and the people he reached wouldnt of been reached. Think you need to re-analyze your thoughts. He did more than you can see, if your intellectual enough, you can figure this out.
November 26th, 2008 at 5:58 pm
No, we don’t need to secede.
United we stand against tyranny. Divided we fall.
E pluribis unum
November 26th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
We fought the American Revolution as 13 independent sovereign states, we can win the next one as 50 of the same.
Sesession does not not men we are not united in our goal, having 50 separate states just makes it all that much harder to defeat us. There is no single point of control.
November 26th, 2008 at 6:14 pm
Hey 56…
The question may be, who is buying them up? Could be operatives!
November 26th, 2008 at 6:38 pm
Beck is CIA. Before he was saying how bad we were for talking about leaving the union. He even had a guy on from league Of The South and made him and us in Montana, out to be as dangerous as he does the 911 truthers. Now he says maybe states should secede? I would call him a moron but he is not. He is smart and works for the CIA. Watch out TEXANS!!! He has special news for you!
Will Beck now admit the southern states were right, in their right to secede? Do not hold your breath!!
We do have a right and it does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out. In Montana we can change or amend the constitution several ways. The Montana Constitution may be amended only by a vote of the people. A
constitutional change may be put before the people by the Legislature as a
constitutional referendum, or one may be placed on the ballot by the people
using the initiative process. If they choose to repel the compact with the union, “ARTICLE I” , We no longer are part of the union. It is that simple. Our Secretary of state already put D.C. on notice this past summer.
As the Montana Constitution states: Section
1. Popular sovereignty.
All political power is vested in and derived from the people. All government of right originates with the people, is founded upon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the whole.
Section 2. Self-government.
The people have the exclusive right of governing themselves as a free, sovereign, and independent state. They may alter or abolish the constitution and form of government whenever they deem it necessary.
What is to figure out when it says “They may alter or abolish the constitution and form of government whenever they deem it necessary.” Seems clear to us in Montana. watch 2009 for news from Montana.
November 26th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
“Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right, a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of so much of the territory as they inhabit. More than this, a majority of any portion of such people may revolutionize, putting down a minority, intermingled with, or near about them, who may oppose their movements.” ~ Lincoln January 12 1848, expressing the near-universally held Jeffersonian principle, before Lincoln unilaterally destroyed it, that no state could claim its inhabitants as its property.
November 26th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
This is what I have seen being floated around Montana for Constitutional referendum to repeal the compact with the union
CONSTITUTIONAL INITIATIVE OR REFERENDUM NO. 2009
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
Section 1. Article I of the Constitution of the State of Montana is repealed.
Section 2. A new Article I is created and amended into the Constitution of the State of Montana as follows:
ARTICLE I
MONTANA, A FREE, SOVEREIGN AND INDEPENDENT STATE
Montana is a free, sovereign and independent constitutional republic, the government of which owes allegiance and duty only to the people of Montana. Montana establishes its independence from the United States of America in order to ensure and enhance the freedoms of the individual people of Montana. These freedoms include freedom from governmental intrusion and control, but not freedom from want or need.
Section 1. Usages; laws. All current usages, laws, institutions, applications, offices and processes compatible with the sovereign status of Montana are retained. Judicial precedents and decisions of Montana courts shall prevail over any other court decisions, past, present and future. The Montana Constitution is the supreme law in Montana, and no other body of law promulgated by men may be recognized as superior to any provision of the Montana Constitution. All individual liberties reserved to the individual people by the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, and not specifically reserved to the people of Montana by the Montana constitution, are hereby reserved to the individual people of Montana. No declaration of emergency or martial law may suspend or diminish the individual liberties reserved to the people by the Montana Constitution.
Section 2. Exchange; finance. Until the end of the year 200_, the currency of the United States of America may be used as legal tender within Montana. No later than the beginning of 200_, Montana shall provide a medium of exchange, established by the Legislature, which must always be gold or silver, or fully redeemable in gold or silver. Competing private media of exchange may not be prohibited or regulated. Montana may not create, operate, or allow a monopoly bank. The government of Montana may not borrow money. Governmental programs that pay benefits or provide services to Montana citizens may pay only from funds currently on account; and such programs may not spend, commit, or obligate future income. Montana government and political subdivisions thereof may invest cash reserves, trust funds and other monies only in commodities, enterprises, activities and institutions within Montana. Duties, taxes and tariffs on imported and exported goods may be levied only with the direct approval of the people of Montana by initiative or referendum. Taxes on inheritance may not be levied.
Section 3. Sovereignty; treaties. While recognizing its shared history and kinship with the United States of America, Montana shall remain free of preferential entanglements with all nations. Any treaty or agreement to which Montana and the United States of America are both parties no longer bind Montana and are no longer effective upon Montana. Any treaties or agreements between Montana and any other individual state or states of the United States of America remain in effect. No foreign nation or government may maintain a military or police presence within Montana for any reason or for any length of time. No treaties, contracts, agreements or other arrangements may be entered into by Montana, or by any agents, officers or institutions of Montana, with any other nations or governments, that have the effect of eroding or ceding any portion of Montana sovereignty. The Governor may propose, and the Senate may ratify, any treaties consistent with these restrictions. Any treaties so ratified are subject to referendum of the people.
Section 4. Property ownership; immigration. No other nation may own real property within Montana. Except for embassies and postal offices, no nation may lease real property in Montana. Montana will honor established Indian reservations within Montana borders and will honor treaties with the United States relating to Indians within Montana borders. Immigration and ownership of real property by non citizens and foreign entities may be regulated or prohibited by law. Lets not be too surprised if it happens. It would be nice if some elements of the North American fragmentation could recapture the original intent of the constitution of 1786 but it’s just as likely that we’ll end up with something altogether different.
November 26th, 2008 at 11:12 pm
They want it to happen, they think we don’t need a representative government anymore. By doing so, DC is destroyed, the constitution along with it, and only god knows what else.

# 67 WHAT CONSTITUTION? Oh you mean that old thing that they wipe their butts with?
The states are just as bad as the feds or worse. All states are kidnapping kids under the guise of “child protection” at an astounding rate.

Let’s take a deep breath and calm down, folks. Sorry to be the sole voice of moderation in this particular blog, but Beck is getting dangerously close to incitement of sedition, here, and some of the self- described Montanans have ventured well into that realm. No, you really DON’T have the right to secede. This question was settled at Appomattox Courthouse in 1865… perhaps you’ve heard of it? As an aside, do consider pulling your heads out and getting a clue- balkanization of the U.S. , Canada, Russia, China, Great Britain, and the other great countries of the world is exactly what the super – rich want… no nation can be so powerful as to potentially threaten their criminal hegemony with a potentially populist leader – particularly a nation as militarily strong as the U.S.. Before the ad hominem rejoinders begin, let me inform you that I have been harassed by the Bush administration like few other people, so spare me the insults to my patriotism. Perhaps some of you are genuinely well intentioned but uninformed. Alex J. and his cronies know better, and are actually helping to drive the corporate agenda by propagating the rabidly anti – government line. Do you really believe that KLBJ and other mass media institutions, as well as the post office and the phone companies would allow him to disseminate his brand of tripe if he actually constituted even a marginal threat to them??? Don’t make me laugh…To him, all government, especially federal government, is evil, whereas I consider government to be the only realistic way for a population to organize on their own behalf in a peaceful, non-violent way ( provided, of course that democratic institutions are not entirely unservicable). Billionaires don’t want to run the risk of paying taxes in the future, so now they’re trying to throttle the very idea of federal governments now that they’ve run up the score. A few global institutions , largely powerless ones, such as the currently almost- toothless U.N. will remain in place as a potential tool to organize international coalitions just in case a major natural disaster or ( eighteenth century, Jacobin ) French revolution occurs that threatens the health and safety of the local monarchist elites. Kissinger wrote his doctoral thesis on the Congress of Vienna, the meeting of various European foreign ministers shortly after the Napoleanic wars that ensured the survival of the European monachies for another century. I challenge you to read all you can about this event, paying particularly close attention to the role of Austrian foreign minister Metternich, whom Kissinger has modeled himself upon…Alex Jones, why do you refuse to debate someone with whom you actully disagree if you’re so far in the right? Allowing callers to occasionally access your radio show doesn’t count – you can cut them off at will . What are you so afraid of, big man? Perhaps it’s the idea of being made mincemeat, rhetorically speaking, in front of your fawning sycophants? You play the role of Ernst Rohm so well – did you ever stop to think of what will happen when you’re no longer of use to your right – wing employers?

Andrew B.
The court at Appomattox did not settle the question of secession. The courts findings are wrong and violate the constitution. Secession is legal unless the Constitution expressly forbids it. It does not. That courts findings were no more valid than courts holding up Jim Crow laws or slavery.
If secession were illegal then we could have never fought the American Revolution, the idea that the founders would forbid secession in the aftermath of a successful secessionist war is ludicrous.
As far as Jones being a shill and distraction, please present something that supports this contention. Jones does a fine job exposing their crimes but so far is audience is relatively small, but growing. The problem they have is any attempts to quiet him will only make the voice louder.
They are trying top deal with him the same way the deal with the JFK researchers. They try to ignore as a method of marginalization and it seems to working with you at least anyway.
November 27th, 2008 at 7:56 am
Andrew, how often do you call the show?
Anyways, the south really did secede, and other states do too, the only thing we learned from the civil war is that you can’t secede without a fight.
All I know is, I sure as heck don’t want to pay for this bankster bailout scam. Time ti brig back a gold backed continenta dollar in montana, alaska, indiana, ohio, texas, oklahoma, and the other states that can still be salvaged.

No state or group of states will need to that. It’ll happen on its own when, about a year from now, the US will be somewhat unrecognizable as a country anyway when economic strife has torn it apart.

How can Texas Independence be achieved?
1. Elect Larry Kilgore Governor 2010. (Received 225,000 votes in the GOP primary for US Senate 2008)
2. I will call the Texas Legislature into special session and ask them to give the people of Texas the opportunity to vote for Independence. “Texans have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient.” Texas Constitution – Article 1- Section 2
3. Texas will send a “Request for Texas Independence” to Washington. The United States will agree and send ambassadors to Texas helping to facilitate a peaceful separation between our two nations. There is no need to fight.
4. Texas, in exchange for military protection, will allow the United States to continue to operate their $37B/yr military complex in Texas for a period of time. Texas will eventually have the military strength to protect ourselves.

i knew we had a lot of uneducated people in our country that do not take the time to learn and research the topics to which they comment on but i had no idea there were so many of them.
you all better prepare because this country is not going to be as we know it much longer. you better have water, clothes, food, etc. stored because there is no way that the intelligent people in this country are going to live in a world that has no morals, values or accountability much longer without separating.
our government is taking us to the cleaners. wake up. pay attention. everyone in congress has a 150k salary, their cars paid for, their gas paid for, their food, housing, maintenance, etc. all paid for. they have no clue what it is like to try and save money or pay for college or purchase gas at $4.00 a gallon and then buy groceries for your children. they have no clue and they don’t care.
what if everyone just decided not to pay their taxes for 4 years like Gaithner did? hmmm…what do you think would happen to us? i say we all should change our w4 to at least 6-10 deductions (dependent upon the size of your family) and not allow them to have any of our money until they show us that they can manage the money we have given them in the past. then we can just work out a “plan” to pay those taxes about 4 years later.
then, don’t use the tollways ever. make sure you do not get any parking, speeding or any other type of tickets where you have to give them any money.
any area where we can cut their income we need to do it until they prove they can think about us properly and listen to what WE want. then, we need to get back to morals and living a clean life without thinking that sin is a right.
glenn beck knows what he is talking about. anyone who doesn’t want to believe him has not done their homework or researched the topics thoroughly.
besides, i am not brave enough to go against God but it appears there are many in this country that are. good luck with that.

Our federal government is on the road to bankrupting this nation and our leaders are either unable or unwilling to prevent our destruction. Secession is the only solution if we are to preserve liberty.

Everything that is going on now points back to 1865. When R.E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia to a cigar-smoking drunk named Grant, the ENTIRE NATION LOST!!! Those calling it the “Civil War” are true-blue Federalists, and are closet admirers of what the D.C. criminals are doing. Anyone that knows true history, and not the yankee indoctrination that occurred in southern schools after that war, knows it was a “War Between the States”. In a civil war, two or more factions are fighting for control of the entire country. Had the Confederacy had this in mind, they could have easily marched into D.C. after 1st Manassas, and dictated surrender terms to Lincoln. The arrogant aristocracy in the north came to picnic, expecting a drubbing of the Confederate Army by the Bue-bellies. Yet they ran like whipped pups back to D.C., leaving carriages, and picnic food behind, when the yank soldiers turned tail themselves after getting a good whipping by the Confederates. Yes, WE ALL LOST, when the Union conquered the southern states. Yet there are currently secessionist organizations in over 30 states now, the largest in the southern states. The former Confederate states are even now readying themselves for the coming collapse of the American empire. Doubt it? Go to http://www.csagov.org to see what has been going on behind the scenes. George Says: is 100% correct in his statement above. God and liberty will prevail!
