The murder of liberal unitarian churchgoers by a right-wing nut is truly horrible. The killer – Jim Adkisson – apparently was influenced by such right-wing talking heads as Michael Savage, Bill O’Reilly, and Sean Hannity.
But let’s put this in perspective . . .
Moreover, Savage, O’Reilly and Hannity are not true conservatives. They are stooges for the neocons and other criminals running our government. True conservatives like Ron Paul oppose the fascist and militant stands of the neocons and their media lapdogs.
(Article continues below)
Instead of cheering the destruction of the Constitution and the rule of law like Savage, O’Reilly and Hannity do, true conservatives like Ron Paul are working with liberals in order to save our constitution (just like many true conservatives endorse Dennis Kucinich’s battle to impeach Bush and Cheney).
I’m frankly sick of all this right-wing versus left-wing talk. The labels “right-wing” and “left-wing” are largely outdated. Neoconservatives are not conservative, and neoliberals are not liberal. Some of the biggest war hawks call themselves “liberal”, and some of the biggest hypocrites and liars call themselves “conservative”.
Frankly, I don’t care what you call yourself. America is in real trouble, and the hour is much too late to focus on peripheral issues. The only thing I care about is whether you are working for liberty, justice, truth, peace and sustainable prosperity or against them.
Even if you hate the people on the other side of the political divide, can’t you put off that debate for a little while? You can’t even play the game if you don’t have a playing field to play on.
The people who are turning the world against America, weakening our national defenses, bankrupting our country, and trampling on our liberties are not “right-wing” or “left-wing”, but simply unAmerican.
Until the rule of law and a stable economy are restored to America, why don’t we focus our passion on getting the traitors and economy-wreckers out of power and into jail, where they belong. Let’s unite – at least for now – to protect America itself.

It’s the Hegelian philosophy played out to make us get along with the NWO without realizing it until it’s too late.
This is the core of the problem – to weed out the hudges and grudges from the rest of us – so we can fight our real enemies and stop fighting each other.
Hudge and Grudge are caracters described by the great G.K. Chesterton a hundred year ago:

Well you are all obviously commie pinkos….
> read sarcasm <
There is no left and right, it’s a manufactured paradigm to keep us passive.
When explaining the nature of the Matrix to Neo, the Architect said that to get people into the program, to enslave them fully, they had to provide the illusion of choice where there is none.
That’s EXACTLY where we are at. For christ sake, the dems and repubs agree with each other more than they disagree. The dems, when they won back the house, did NOTHING to overturn the insanity the Bush regime created, they rubber stamped it.
Bush and Kerry are cousins! It’s all a shame to keep everyone fighting against themselves, instead of fighting the real fight.
but it doesn’t matter, to be pro peace is to be anti-american, that’s the official policy, right down to banning the peace sign during the Iraq invasion, then, when people still showed it, they changed it to ‘V for victory’.
A country that founded itself on the basis of peaceful existence, a country that fought in 2 world wars to provide and secure PEACE, is now saying to be pro peace is anti-american. That says it all.
We need to dismantle this fake left right scam, we need to remove ALL of the talking heads from the media, and we desperately need to get the youth involved as they are the only ones that can save us.

Don’t forget, people are interpreting this as religious vs. non-religious (UU churches have a large number of atheists and agnostics) as well and exploiting that unnecessary wedge.

The best way to accomplish nothing is to divide our representatives into two sides. One conservative right and the other liberal left. Throw some gas on the fire by sterotyping them, liberals love taxes and republicans care only for corporations. Then let the fighting begin and watch as nothing gets done. The solution? Take on one topic or bill at a time. Use common sense. Example: The Mexican border, put up a triple layer fence from Brownsville,TX. to San Diego. Period. Allow only a set amount of skilled people in per year. Gas prices: Solution: Stop speculators unlimited buying if they have no assets to back it up. This would cut the price of gas in half. Also on gas prices. Common sense item number 2: Follow the money. Why hasn’t some congressional commity hunt down and analyse where every cent goes when we pay $4.25 per gallon? WHO GETS THE MONEY? Probably the wall street bankers and the fed.

I am a life-long Communist, Cuba Venezuela, Bolivia, etc are my ideal, however Regarding fighting the Bilderbergers, I am quite willing to work with non-Communists against these fascist freaks. They are the bigger picture, and we’d better see it, before it’s too late! The only people I cant/won’t work with are racists and military apoligists. Americans are very confused about socialism, probably due to the brain-washing that goes way back to the Macarthyite Witch-Hunts of the 50s and the “Red Scare” rubbish when innocent people had their lives ruined for being Communists. “home of the brave/land of the free,” my foot!

Americans can’t pin down their terms because their thinking has always been based on impressionism and pragmatism (the American version of empiricism). The word “liberal” when applied to economics means “lassez-faire”; when applied to social institutions it means contrarily “utilitarian and egalitarian” when coming out of the mouth of a social liberal and “controlled and collectivist” when coming out of the mouth of a social conservative. Today, in Europe the word “neoliberal” means what “neoconservative” does in America. The neoconservatives started out as economic liberals, not social liberals; and their ideas are still anything but utilitarian and egalitarian.
The terms Left and Right originally referred to the seating in the États Générals (Constituent Assembly) of the First French Republic. The social liberals (Jacobins) on the left and the social conservatives (Girondistes) on the right. For well over a century the terms Left and Right were applied in Europe to politics and to philosophy with perfect clarity. Hegel was politically and socially conservative, so those who followed him loyally were considered Right Hegelians, the most notable example being Martin Heidegger, who signed his correspondence with “Heil Hitler!”. Those who took his logical method but turned his political and social theory on its head were considered Left Hegelians, notable examples being Ludwig Feuerbach (love as the binding force in the universe) and Karl Marx (social contradictions resolve themselves in revolution leading eventually to the emancipation of mankind).
In only one other nation is there today more confusion regarding the terminology Left and Right, and that’s in Russia. There, where the cult of the “brilliant leader” Joseph Stalin has hopelessly muddled all clear ideas in politics and philosophy, Marxists are regarded as on the Right and their opponents as on the Left. People should study the Great French Revolution, from which the terms originate, or give up using them altogether.
