  • Big Brother database recording all our calls, texts and e-mails will ‘ruin British way of life’

    Matthew Hickley
    UK Daily Mail
    Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Plans for a massive database snooping on the entire population were condemned yesterday as a ‘step too far for the British way of life’.

In an Orwellian move, the Home Office is proposing to detail every phone call, e-mail, text message, internet search and online purchase in the fight against terrorism and other serious crime.

But the privacy watchdog, Information Commissioner Richard Thomas, warned that the public’s traditional freedoms were under grave threat from creeping state surveillance.

    (Article continues below)

Apart from the Government’s inability to hold data securely, he said the proposals raised ‘grave questions’.

‘Do the risks we face provide justification for such a scheme in the first place? Do we want the state to have details of more and more aspects of our private lives?

‘Whatever the benefits, would such a scheme amount to excessive surveillance? Would this be a step too far for the British way of life?’

It is thought the scheme would allow the police or MI5 to access the exact time when a phone call was made, the number dialled, the length of the call and, in the case of mobile phones, the location of the handset to within an accuracy of a few hundred yards.

Similarly for e-mails, it would provide details of when they were sent and who the recipients were. Police recovering a suspect’s computer would then be able to trawl through hard-drive records and recover particular messages. The content of telephone calls could not be recovered unless they were being intercepted at the time.

Mr Thomas’s warnings were backed by privacy campaigners, who claimed such Big Brother powers would give Government agencies unprecedented abilities to trawl through intimate details of ordinary people’s private lives at will.

The New Labour government already collects all this information, same as the US, and many nations in Europe. What then is this story really about?

The final reason for telling the public that it records and stores this data should terrify all of you to your core. WHAT IS A CONCENTRATION CAMP? The answer explains the story.

A concentration camp is a place you hold all the citizens of a state identified as potential ‘criminals’, ’subversives’, ‘deviants’, or ‘enemy agents’ in a time of supposed crisis. The names of those rounded up are always provided by the state secret police, and are obtained by data-mining whatever form of intelligence current technology has allowed to be gathered.

The inmates of the concentration camp are guilty until proven innocent, and are held this way because their numbers are way too great for the existing prison system, and the ‘charges’ against most of them incompatible with the ordinary functions of the courts.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT CONCENTRATION CAMPS ARE NOT DEATH CAMPS- although mortality rates in such facilities tend to be astronomical, as health and hygiene standards are usually kept as low as possible by the state.

Blair, and his New Labour party have already created a record number of ‘thought crimes’, including most recently the crime of having the wrong sexual fetishes (involving consenting adults). Thousands more thought crimes are planned for the next few years. The significance of these laws are comprehended by very few.

When the database is officially activated (remembering that in reality, it has existed for a significant number of years now), the greater part of the adult population of the UK becomes a candidate for the concentration camps. Of course, only a small percentage of ‘offenders’ will actually be targeted. The muslims, the political activists and thinkers, the ‘incurable criminal class’ and the ’sexual deviants’ (HEY- JUST LIKE LAST TIME IN NAZI GERMANY). The internet records, etc, will allow the victims to identify themselves in their own words and deeds.

Meantime, the mainstream press in the UK jumps up and down in joy at the ‘cleansing’ of society. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This final stage of the police-state has been repeated more times than you realise throughout Human history. Britain will simply witness the most perfect, and evil example of this ultimate form of state control.

If you are not British, you may well think “screw the idiots”, but that mentality allowed Hitler to build his power-base with minimal interference. The rest of the world will pay the highest price if the ambitions of those that run the UK are allowed to reach complete fruition.

This is worldwide. They are everywhere. It’s what we have been hearing for years but cannot see; cannot pinpoint; cannot fix. They are well hidden and disguised in ways you cannot imagine. It’s sickness.

Yeah Britain is screwed. Nothing stands in the way of total control at this point. I’ve noticed that the “common wealth” (including the US) seem to be using Britain as a social petri dish to see what the invertebrate will tolerate…if successful it’s exported to other “common wealth” states and implemented. Or so it seems.
I think the bigger problem is that the planet is “Owned” by the power elite and there is no where to go for new ideas/society. Like the Americas were to the Europeans or any other group seeking refuge from the British Crown or their own failed rotten ruling class. Self determination, and most importantly property rights seems to be over on a personal level.
And sadly no longer exists in the US or anywhere else on the planet except maybe Antarctica. But alas Britain has claimed part of that already. By what authority I’ll never know.
The only thing that can change Britain is it’s citizenry. And we all know where many British citizen stand in history…Bent over at the Pub!
