HARRISBURG – Invasion of privacy is an issue that really gets under State Rep. Babette Josephs’ skin.
That’s why the Philadelphia Democrat introduced a bill, passed unanimously last week by the House, that would ban the forced implantation of computer chips in humans.
Conjuring Orwellian images, Josephs worries the identification devices – the size of a grain of rice – could lead to a real-life Big Brother nightmare.

“I’m doing, I think, what the legislature does too little of,” she said. “This is a problem on the horizon, and I want to address it before it becomes a societal disgrace.”
Though the technology hasn’t debuted in Pennsylvania, VeriChip, a company in Florida, received federal Food and Drug Administration clearance in 2004 to market the implanted microchips, which were tested on 200 Alzheimer’s patients.
Injected into the triceps, the chips have unique 16-digit codes and GPS capabilities that allow nursing homes to find wandering patients.

Finally a bill with common sense. Wow and I thought they were hopeless. Maybe they are growing a backbone after all. Obama must not be too happy with them trying to put a monkey wrench in the NWO plans. The real power is there in the house and senate. If it passes to the presidents desk we will see once and for all who’s side he is on. My guess is he won’t sign it and come up with some fancy explanation. These bills need to be all or nothing. As has been mentioned, if they allow it to be used on “select groups of people,” the govt. will just redefine everyone to include them in that select group. In the FULL ARTICLE i got this quote:

So with a court order you can still be chipped. And DETAINEES at Gitmo. These people still haven’t been arrested. If they are “detainees” then they haven’t even been charged with anything, yet they can be chipped.
This seems a little close to “anyone on a watch-list gets a chip”…

I often question if the “mark” of the beast isn’t actually being created based on the prediction of it. What came first, the chicken or the egg? Would the “mark” or much of what’s happened in history happened had the memes of religious doctrine not actually perpetrated it? There was some theories in the past that it could simply have been a tattoo mark, a branding mark, or some kind of scarrification process used during the biblical times that were used by traders/merchants that travelled into the gated markets of the various cities that existed.
Our modern interpretation would be that it is the scar mark from the implant of a RFID chip.

We really are not a christian nation. Diversity is in order here and all Americans should become familiar with many different religions and teaching. The bible is kind of a doom and gloom type story. But it was written a long time ago, and probably got changed along the way. I dont like books that have unhappy endings, and I agree they should be illegal and certainly not for children. We should teach sharing, (you know like spread the wealth around) for all peoples of the world who are less fortunate. Climb aboard people, you know like it feels kool to have something to do. Sorry Mike. No offence to you whatsoever because you are on the side of good. But the above numerology is incorrect. St. John was writing in Greek when he wrote Revelations not English. The numerology he was referring to was Greek numerology that does not assign the same numbers to the corresponding letters of the Greek alphabet. If you base your numerology on 6’s, statistical probabilities show us that you are more likely to come up with 666 more often.

This bill has absolutely no power, even if passed.
However, it serves as an education to others directly involved in the legislation process. Creating awareness over an issue like this during peace-time is absolutely vital, because it can be discussed in rational, calm, logical conversation. A rational person would never, ever, ever, put a chip inside him/herself. But someone pumped up with fear might even demand such an option. Prompting discussions like this pre-911 might have helped to avoid a Patriot Act.
On the other hand, the powers that be are fully capable of suspending the Constitution in times of crisis. And of course they decide what defines “crisis”. If such a crisis occurred that might, in some bastardized twist of logic, encourage people to get chipped, the Constitution would probably be suspended anyways, reducing bills like this to mere ideas.
