Actually they have 5 days to “reconsider” their vote on that bill, so they still have a couple days before it is actually final. It has only passed Congress, so now is the time to start working on your Senators and let them know that they will be voted out in 2010 if they vote yes on this.

car emissions are carbon monoxide not carbon dioxide

but yet in section 711 page 530 in the 1092 page version it lists the greenhouse gasses.
carbon monoxide is not on the list so therefore cars dont pollute and this bill is unneseccary

please take thie time to read this urself in the bill but ive copied it and here it is

21 ‘‘(a) GREENHOUSE GASES.—For purposes of this title,
22 the following are greenhouse gases:
23 ‘‘(1) Carbon dioxide.
24 ‘‘(2) Methane.
25 ‘‘(3) Nitrous oxide.

they saaid this bill was written with thwe help of scientists seems odd that they would leave out gasoline emmissions from the list of greenhouse gasses
