A bomb threat halted construction of the National Security Agency’s top-secret cybersecurity intelligence center being built at Camp Williams, Utah.
The FBI is investigating the bomb threat, which resulted in the suspension of construction and evacuation of workers at the $1.2 billion cybersecurity center, according to a report by the Associated Press.
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), which is in charge of the project, told the AP it evacuated the construction site around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
The USACE began construction of the facility, known as the Utah Data Center, in January 2011.
