Bombs, choppers during military exercises startle residents

NEW ORLEANS – Residents in and around New Orleans have been hearing the sounds of low-flying helicopters and what sounds like bomb blasts over the past few nights, but the sounds are part of a training exercise for some of America’s elite military troops.
At one Lakefront home, Gigi Burk normally hears her son, 6-year-old Beau, practicing the piano, but last night she heard something much different at around 10 p.m.
“I said, oh my God! They’re bombs. That’s what I thought it was, somebody dropping bombs,” Burk said.

Burk said she panicked, not knowing why she was hearing what sounded like explosions and low-flying helicopters.
“We’re a little skittish around here with things that have happened,” Burk said.
But according to military officials, it’s a training exercise that brought about 150 U.S. troops from the U.S. Special Operations Command to train in New Orleans for urban warfare.
“They are regularly engaged in combat operations,” said U.S. Special Operations Command staffer Kimberly Tiscione. “They are the best of the best we have to offer across all the branches of the military.”
Black Hawk and “Little Bird” helicopters are transporting troops to several locations around New Orleans, according to Tiscione.
“They’re going to be flying near buildings, doing approaches on them,” Tiscione said. “You might see them landing on the roof tops or landing on the ground near them as well.”
“I heard a bunch of explosions starting at about 10 p.m. They were about ten seconds apart, and then they’d stop, and we thought it was over, but then they started again,” said Burk.
Tiscione said that the ground troops were performing “breeches at several different locations.

HEY…When is ILLINOIS going to get LOW flying Black Ops Helicopters and or street troops etc etc etc…
Why is the USA gov and NWO doing these tests in SOUTHERN STATES ONLY!?!?!!?!?!

You dont want our military training in our own country? Were not training to take over America fools. The only policing we would do if there was an outbreak or spreadable biological attack.
Do you think if that happens and you live in a close by town we should let those people to your town and fuck you up to? It’s not gonna be pretty but if it happens we need to be prepared.
99% of those invovled dont have secuirty clearances. Go ask them and they will tell you what the fuck they are doing.

Yup, this would apply, and honestly, 9 Billion seems excessive to say the least, unless that’s how much the government would need to weaponize it quickly.

To answer your question….yes, I’ve served. Not only that but I’ve lived next to a military base for the past twenty years. I’m used to choppers at night and during the day. I’m used to jets and c-130’s doing touch and goes to log hours. I’m also used to live fire rounds being shot off. This I do know…..training excercises are done on military installations or the desert or rural areas. They are not, as a rule, done in the middle of American cities. Even training for urban warfare is done in mock-up towns on the installation. So, guffaw all you want with your so-called inside knowledge. This is definitely not normal training for our military.

Notice how they don’t warn the residents and do their ops after ten pm. This is psychological warfare on the people to get them ready for a total take over. Twenty years ago this whole thing would have been absolutely prohibited. Where was the governor to allow this all to go on at such an hour and so close to residents in their homes? We need to rise up and throw the bums out. Iceland has the right idea.

most people in new orleans are no longer ’shell-shocked’ from the events of katrina. lets get that straight. katrina was tough but we have moved on. the economy here is bristling, the freeways jammed, and people generally are being productive. end of story. actually the residents were warned by two sources that i know of about these ‘training’ exercises. one was on a MAJOR and MOST POPULAR local news station that did a presentation about the exercises one week before they were to begin. SECOND… the new orleans police department posted a notice on their website on the home page that the NOPD and the US military would be conducting these exercises. so i can’t understand how “…they don’t warn the residents and do their ops after ten pm”. lets keep the facts straight here. look it up yourself and dont commence to flaming me. Also, and most important…stop this crap that “they took their guns one, during katrina.” gimme a break. a minority of people had this occur in areas of heavy crime and corruption. ok? understand this!i don’t know one single person personally who had their gun confiscated. also, everyone that I KNOW is fully locked and loaded here, period. the military boys would be proud of the firepower here. so stop that old media propoganda how all our guns were taken and we sit here in the mud doing nothing waiting to be slaughtered.
