The British government has inserted provisions into a Counter-Terrorism Bill that would see centuries old principles of law and justice undermined and allow the government unprecedented powers to intervene in the workings of the judiciary.
The legislation would allow inquests to be held in secret without a jury and would grant the government the right to replace the coroner with their own appointee, should they deem it to be a matter of national security.

For those who forgot, or were not informed: The UK executive abolished the possibility of an independent Parliamentary Investigation 2 months before the mass murders of July 7th 2005, the London Subway Bombings.
This bill seems like a continuation of that breakdown of Justice in the UK.

Is anyone sabotaging those streetcams in London? I should think it would be great sport.
There’s the Cricket Bat method. Takes a strong swing. No, not necessarily a cricket bat per se — you need something long enough to reach the cam. Try a length of lead plumbing pipe or concrete construction rebar.
Then there’s the Incendiary method; this one’s very patriotic because it recalls the firewatchers of the WW2 London blitz. Squirting lighter fluid on a cam could be awkward, messy, and ineffective, so you might try slapping or painting an incendiary substance on the underside of the camera (heat rises, right?). Homemade napalm mixes gasoline or another propellant with a thickener, such as a plastic that softens, dissolves and mixes with gasoline, such as styrofoam. Make your napalm thick like putty, but sticky like glue. Just apply some of your napalm to the underside of the camera, and light it with a wick on a pole like the castratos do at the Cathedral. Don’t forget to say a prayer.
The electric method: get an auto battery that you can carry in a car or on a bike, and modify some jumper cables so they’ll reach the camera. Be careful and do some experimenting first; this is potentially one of the more dangerous methods. Your goal is to ‘zap’ the camera and fry its electronics. Dissident nerds especially like this method. If you really want to get creative, find a way to link the nearest public power line or connection to a camera, and watch the fireworks as you disable a camera and plunge the neighborhood into darkness at the same time.
Dental cavity method: Attach a cordless drill to a pole and drill a hole into the casing of the camera, then use another pole (or the other end of the one with the drill attachment) to squirt or inject a caustic substance into the camera. Experiment with substances, mixtures, and delivery methods that work for you; there are a lot of common household products that will destroy the workings of a camera, such as chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, shampoo, beer, and piss. A tin of shaving cream discharged into the works of a camera might do the job. There are also construction and industrial products that might be used.
Towtruck method: this one really challenges the intellect, because you’ll need to find ways to conceal your hardware from the public. It is also a method that poses a risk of injury to innocent bystanders. Basically you want to attach a cable or chain from the camera to the nearest motor vehicle, so the vehicle will pull down the camera when it pulls away from the kerb. To protect the public, you might consider performing this service at night using your own vehicle.
The “No Country for Old Men” method: attach some extension tubing to a cylinder of compressed air, affix the tubing to a pole, and kablooee!
For even the simplest of these methods I would recommend having a lookout, and working in teams of two or three persons. Be sure that you don’t get caught on camera while disabling a camera, and you may need to conceal your identity in the approach and the attack.
If you want to make a larger political statement, film your attacks and have someone post it on youtube anonymously. What fun it would be to see a competition arise among various teams to disable the most cameras; you could even start you own local League. Now that’s my idea of sport!

well i’m all for rallying and protesting but i want to take peaceful protesting to the next step, by that i mean, we peacefully protest and camp outside downing street in the thousands and make it clear that WE THE PEOPLE are incharge and we want them all up on charges for high crimes against all of humanity, because an attack against 1 civilian is an attack against all of us.
