I signed a waiver with the Director of Nursing after fully refusing to take the vaccine. 3 days later, 95% of the staff and residents were ill with vomiting and severe diarrhea. Being that majority of the staff called off work, I was on-duty for 54 hours straight (working very physically hard); and with my lack of sleep and weakened immune system, I still did not get sick. It was the vaccine!!!! A nursing home I worked for made the flu vaccine mandatory.
