The controversial climate bill that is set to be taken up by the Senate on Monday after its passage in the House will legislate home inspections by government regulators who will demand to audit every aspect of your property under the threat of substantial and repeated fines if their visits are denied or their demands not satisfied.

The climate legislation is written in a manner that automatically assumes that global warming is taking place and that it is attributed to rising CO2 levels, despite the fact that this is a highly contentious question and is being rejected by more and more scientists as time goes by.

As Tony Pacheco writes in his excellent article today, the bill will “audit every aspect of your home and life”.

The bill states every home owner will receive an energy audit. What is a home energy audit? It is an intrusive visit made by the bureaucrats at the Home Energy Team or a similar group. They will examine and report the way you live your life directly to RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) . Light fixtures, socket types, spas, hot tubs, windows, appliances, walls and roofs will all be under review. Energy tests will be conducted throughout your house. At the end of the visit you will receive a report and a rating. The report will focus on the changes you need to make and the rating is called a HERS rating (Home Energy Rating System). RESNET will perform the audits through authorized contractors. RESNET has adopted the Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards. The standards set the national procedures for home energy ratings.

According to RESNET, an audit consists of:
Comprehensive Home Energy Audit – A level of the RESNET Home Energy Audit process defined by this standard to include the evaluation, diagnosis and proposed treatment of an existing home. The Comprehensive Home Energy Audit may be based on a Home Performance Assessment (“Comprehensive Home Performance Energy Audit”) or Home Energy Rating (“Comprehensive HERS Audit”), in accordance with the criteria established by this Standard. A homeowner may elect to go through this process with or without a prior Home Energy Survey or Diagnostic Home Energy Survey.

Regulations already in place in some cities for non-residential buildings already carry fines of $2000 a time for preventing bureaucrats from carrying out inspections. These will simply be expanded to cover all premises under the new climate bill.

Under the RESNET standards for a home audit, the following procedures will become law under the climate bill.

704.1.2.3 The Home Energy Survey Professional shall request copies of utility bills or
written permission to obtain the energy use information from the utility company, and use
them to produce an estimate of generalized end-uses (base, heating, and cooling).
704.1.2.5. Minimum Procedures for an In-Home Energy Survey:
704.1.2.5.1.1 R-values of wall/ceiling/floor insulation
704.1.2.5.1.2 Square footage and approximate age of home
704.1.2.5.1.3 Type of windows: glazing type(s) and frame material(s)
704.1.2.5.1.4 Type, model number, and location of heating/cooling system(s)
704.1.2.5.1.5 Type of ductwork, location and R-value of duct insulation, and any
indications of previous duct sealing
704.1.2.5.1.6 Type of foundation is crawl, basement, or slab
704.1.2.5.1.7 Checklist of common air-leakage sites indicating likely opportunities
for leakage reduction
704.1.2.5.1.8 Estimated age and efficiency of major appliances such as
dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and dryers
704.1.2.5.1.9 Number and type of hardwired light fixtures and screw-in bulbs in
portable lamps suitable for energy efficient re-lamping
704.1.2.5.1.10 Visual indications of condensation
704.1.2.5.1.11 Presence and location of exhaust fans, and determination of whether
they are vented outdoors
704.1.2.5.1.12 Number and type of water fixtures (e.g. faucets, showerheads)
704.1.2.5.1.13 Presence and type(s) of combustion equipment; identification of
visually identifiable evidence of flame rollout, blocked chimney, and corroded or
missing vent connector.

As we have warned, the climate bill is nothing more than a feast for bloodthirsty government vampires, who are ready and waiting to suck off the fat hog of the American taxpayer once more.

Ohio Republican Senator George Voinovich says it will take a “miracle” for the Senate to pass the controversial climate bill next week, meaning that the legislation won’t be in place before United Nations climate talks in Copenhagen in December.

The Senator told Bloomberg News that the bill contains “a lot of crap” and that cutting CO2 emissions by 17 per cent before 2020 was an unobtainable goal.

Voinovich’s prediction that the bill will fail is echoed by Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma, who said that the “razor-thin vote in the House spells doom in the Senate.”

However, Senator John Kerry claims that the bill will pass the Senate next week but that there won’t be enough sway to approve a global treaty that commits other nations to follow the same regulations.

home buyer information packs the cost around £500.
I actually know a few things about these because im a builder
I also know that the people who do the inspections go for a 1 week training coarse and then are qualified
so what you get is a report that has no legal status because if its wrong or inaccurate
which a lot are1
Because the inspector was working in tesco the week before and has no idea about construction
they just say o` well its not a survey

I have also been asked to attend a house when one come round
my god what a twat turned up
almost everything he put down was what i told him
Then the person was sent a bill of £678 for this guys 1/2 hour set of questions to me
HE WASN’T PLEASED!

YOU need to contact all the senators by email/phone and tell them how you feel. The bill CAP AND TAX which these inspections are a part of will cost the typical household $2000.00 + yearly in added costs and a slew of more lost jobs.
I have heard gas will go up by $.80 a gallon.
EVERY additional cost will be passed on to the consumer.
The home inspections are a farce, as a licensed residential contractor [florida] the adage comes to mind of a nurse telling the doctor how to perform the operation, during the course of my day unqualified people are able to instruct me on how to build a house.
what ever your politics are COMMON SENSE needs to be injected back into our constutition. Read glenn becks book “common sense”. I urge you all to become involved with your local politics, you have to start at the ground roots.

Nope. But they will get “in touch with you” and eventually you’ll open up the door, turn around, and reach for your ankles while they cross your threshold.

That’s pretty much what the 2010 census will do, however it has been noted that census takers will (upon repeated failure to contact you) contact your neighbors on the left and on the right to inquire about you. I’m not sure who read that particular part but I’m thinking it was a female governor last week who claimed she would not be answering all of the questions on the census.

Now the big difference IMHO is although the census “fines” have never been enforced, I can easily imagine the fines coming for failure to meet inspections regardless of the reasons for the failure. In other words, 1) you go along with it and the rating or whatever requires an upgrade which you do not go along with – BOOM you’re fined and 2) you keep hiding and they never find you – BOOM you’re fined.

Congress or America threatened???

Is it just me…? In 2008 when the elections were months away from coming to an end, I noticed a great change in John McCain. His face was total defeat, as if he were threatened! Same was with Bush in his final days, as well as California Arnold. The end was that we were all thrown underneath the bus!

As I look and read about our members of congress throwing America and the American people under the bus – I Can’t help but believe that the congress has been threatened as well. Now I know to many of you that this accusation may seem farfetched – However, bear with me for a moment.

Why would these so-called American congress people do these things that are outright destroying America and the American people? We all heard that this was a plan started many decades ago to destroy America and have only one-world order. We have recently heard all the accusations that many of the members of congress were force to vote yes on bills design to destroy America even though they were against them – so what other could it be – other than being threatened or worst… America was threatened and these people are going along with the program in hopes to devise a plan to stop the threat.

Sounds like a great movie doesn’t it – well maybe, just maybe, the movie is already playing, especially when you look at the action and support obama has and is giving to the people who are flat-out against our America.

There are four things in any situation where you are looking for someone to take action or do something. Meaning; whether you want to sell something to someone or get a date etc., four things need to take place:
1. Get their attention! Once you have their attention, you can then create
2. Interest – And once you have created an interest, you can then create
3. Desire – And once you have created desire in people or anyone – only then will they take
4. Action!

This is how America can be put back to the Strong Nation it once was and restore government control back with the American people.

As of now, we have got the attention of many American people and have created an interest, a mild interest, but nevertheless an interest enough to create a desire, a fair amount of desire, but we need to create a lot more desire within the American people, so that action – real action – can take place to stop these people from destroying America and all the rights and freedoms of the American people.

We need to create a desire for the American people to set aside One-day of their lives to Restore America – to restore American government control back to the people.

That One-Day would be for every American to stop what they are doing for just One-Day – bring this country to a HALT and demand that the government save America, including answering to the American people all the unanswered questions like; is obama an actually US Citizen? – show us his true Birth Certificate! Why are bills that are designed to destroy America and the American people being passed?

Furthermore, the American people should have a site that would show all the bills presented to congress to be voted on – to show to congress what the American people want and don’t want to pass. A site where America can show their vote on these bills – this way, our congressmen will know exactly what the people who they represent want and don’t want. It will make them ACCOUNTABLE! If they are not doing the job we elected them to do – then we need to replace them!

We have the wherewithal and the technology to do this – we just need the American people to get balls and create enough desire to take this ACTION!

Now if anyone is thinking… why aren’t you taking any action? I have no problem taking political action! I have the knowledge, courage and backbone to put the web site together to make our congress accountable and I have the knowledge, courage and backbone to put the One-Day Campaign into action – What I don’t have (unfortunately) is the finances needed to accomplish this endeavor. They say marijuana is dangerous. pot is not harmful to the human body or mind. marijuana does not pose a threat to the general public. Marijuana is very much a danger to the oil companies, alcohol, tobacco industries and a large number of chemical corporations. Big businesses, with plenty of dollars and influence, have suppressed the truth from the people. The truth is, if marijuana was utilized for its vast array of commercial products, it would create an industrial atomic bomb! The super rich have conspired to spread misinformation about the plant that, if used properly, would ruin their companies.

Where did the word ‘marijuana’ come from? In the mid 1930s, the M-word was created to tarnish the good image and phenomenal history of the hemp plant – as you will read. The facts cited here, with references, are generally verifiable in the Encyclopedia Britannica which was printed on hemp paper for 150 years:

✔ All schoolbooks were made from hemp or flax paper until the 1880s. (Jack Frazier. Hemp Paper Reconsidered. 1974.)

✔ It was legal to pay taxes with hemp in America from 1631 until the early 1800s. (LA Times. Aug. 12, 1981.)

✔ Refusing to grow hemp in America during the 17th and 18th centuries was against the law! You could be jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow hemp from 1763 to 1769 (G. M. Herdon. Hemp in Colonial Virginia).

✔ George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other founding fathers grew hemp. (Washington and Jefferson Diaries. Jefferson smuggled hemp seeds from China to France then to America.)

✔ Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first paper mills in America, and it processed hemp. Also, the War of 1812 was fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow’s export to England. (Jack Herer. Emperor Wears No Clothes.)
✔ For thousands of years, 90% of all ships’ sails and rope were made from hemp. The word ‘canvas’ is Dutch for cannabis. (Webster’s New World Dictionary.)

✔ Quality paints and varnishes were made from hemp seed oil until 1937. 58,000 tons of hemp seeds were used in America for paint products in 1935. (Sherman Williams Paint Co. testimony before the U.S.Congress against the 1937 Marijuana Tax Act.)

✔ Henry Ford’s first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the car itself was constructed from hemp! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, ‘grown from the soil,’ had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel. (Popular Mechanics, 1941.)

✔ In 1938, hemp was called ‘Billion Dollar Crop.’ It was the first time a cash crop had a business potential to exceed a billion dollars. (Popular Mechanics, Feb. 1938.)

✔ Mechanical Engineering Magazine (Feb. 1938) published an article entitled ‘The Most Profitable and Desirable Crop that Can be Grown.’ It stated that if hemp was cultivated using 20th century technology, it would be the single largest agricultural crop in the U.S. and the rest of the world.

The following information comes directly from the United States Department of Agriculture’s 1942 14-minute film encouraging and instructing ‘patriotic American farmers’ to grow 350,000 acres of hemp each year for the war effort:

“…[When] Grecian temples were new, hemp was already old in the service of mankind. For thousands of years, even then, this plant had been grown for cordage and cloth in China and elsewhere in the East. For centuries prior to about 1850, all the ships that sailed the western seas were rigged with hempen rope and sails. For the sailor, no less than the hangman, hemp was indispensable… Now with Philippine and East Indian sources of hemp in the hands of the Japanese… American hemp must meet the needs of our Army and Navy as well as of our industries… The Navy’s rapidly dwindling reserves.When that is gone, American hemp will go on duty again; hemp for mooring ships; hemp for tow lines; hemp for tackle and gear; hemp for countless naval uses both on ship and shore. Just as in the days when Old Ironsides sailed the seas victorious
with her hempen shrouds and hempen sails. Hemp for victory!”

Certified proof from the Library of Congress, found by the research of Jack Herer, refutes claims of other government agencies that the 1942 USDA film ‘Hemp for Victory’ did not exist.

Hemp cultivation and production do not harm the environment. The USDA Bulletin #404 concluded that hemp produces four times as much pulp with at least four to seven times less pollution.

From Popular Mechanics, February 1938:
“It has a short growing season… It can be grown in any state… The long roots penetrate and break the soil to leave it in perfect condition for the next year’s crop. The dense shock of leaves, 8 to 12 feet above the ground, chokes out weeds. …Hemp, this new crop can add immeasurably to American agriculture and industry.” In the 1930s, innovations in farm machinery would have caused an industrial revolution when applied to hemp. This single resource could have created millions of new jobs generating thousands of quality products. Hemp, if not made illegal,would have brought America out of the Great Depression.

THE CONSPIRACY
William Randolph Hearst (Citizen Kane) and the Hearst Paper Manufacturing Division of Kimberly Clark owned vast acreage of timberlands. The Hearst Company supplied most paper products. Patty Hearst’s grandfather, a destroyer of nature for his own personal profit, stood to lose billions because of hemp.

In 1937, DuPont patented the processes to make plastics from oil and coal. DuPont’s Annual Report urged stockholders to invest in its new petrochemical division. Synthetics such as plastics, cellophane, celluloid, methanol, nylon, rayon, Dacron, etc., could now be made from oil.Natural hemp industrialization would have ruined over 80% of DuPont’s business.

Andrew Mellon became Hoover’s Secretary of the Treasury and DuPont’s primary investor. He appointed his future nephew-in-law,Harry J.Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Secret meetings were held by these financial tycoons. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to their billion dollar enterprises. For their dynasties to remain intact, hemp had to go. These men took an obscure Mexican slang word: ‘marijuana’ and pushed it into the consciousness of America.

MEDIA MANIPULATION
A media blitz of ‘yellow journalism’ raged in the late 1920s and 1930s. Hearst’s newspapers ran stories emphasizing the horrors of marijuana. The menace of marijuana made headlines. Readers learned that it was responsible for everything from car accidents to loose morality.

Films like Reefer Madness (1936), Marijuana: Assassin of Youth (1935) and Marijuana: The Devil’s Weed (1936) were propaganda designed by these industrialists to create an enemy. Their purpose was to gain public support so that anti-marijuana laws could be passed.

Examine the following quotes from The Burning Question, aka Reefer Madness:

* a violent narcotic;
* acts of shocking violence;
* incurable insanity;
* soul-destroying effects;
* under the influence of the drug he killed his entire family with an ax;
* more vicious, more deadly even than these soul-destroying drugs (heroin, cocaine) is the menace of marijuana!

Reefer Madness did not end with the usual ‘the end.’ The film concluded with these words plastered on the screen: ‘Tell your children.’

In the 1930s, people were very naive, even to the point of ignorance. The masses were like sheep waiting to be led by the few in power. They did not challenge authority. If the news was in print or on the radio, they believed it had to be true. They told their children, and their children grew up to be the parents of the babyboomers.

On April 14, 1937, the prohibitive Marijuana Tax Law, or the bill that outlawed hemp, was directly brought to the House Ways and Means Committee. This committee is the only one that can introduce a bill to the House floor without it being debated by other committees. The Chairman of the U.S. Senate, Ways and Means Committee, at the time,Robert Doughton, was a DuPont supporter. He insured that the bill would pass Congress.

Dr. James Woodward, a physician and attorney, testified too late on behalf of the American Medical Association. He told the committee that the reason the AMA had not denounced the Marijuana Tax Law sooner was that the Association had just discovered that marijuana was hemp.

Few people, at the time, realized that the deadly menace they had been reading about on Hearst’s front pages was in fact passive hemp. The AMA understood cannabis to be a medicine found in numerous healing products sold over the last hundred years.

In September of 1937, hemp became illegal. The most useful crop known became a drug and our planet has been suffering ever since.

Congress banned hemp because it was said to be the most violence-causing drug known. Harry Anslinger, head of the Drug Commission for 31 years, promoted the idea that marijuana made users act extremely violent. In the 1950s, under the Communist threat ofMcCarthyism, Anslinger then said the exact opposite: marijuana will pacify you so much that soldiers would not want to fight.

All plastic products should be made from hemp seed oil. Hempen plastics are biodegradable! Over time, they would break down and not harm the environment. Oil-based plastics, the ones we are very familiar with, help ruin nature. They do not break down and will do great harm in the future. The process to produce the vast array of natural (hempen) plastics will not ruin the rivers as DuPont and other petrochemical companies have done. Ecology does not fit in with the plans of the oil industry and the political machine.Hemp products are safe and natural.

Medicines should be made from hemp. We should go back to the days when the AMA supported cannabis cures.‘Medical Marijuana’ is given out legally to only a handful of people while the rest of us are forced into a system that relies on chemicals. Pot is only healthy for the human body.

World hunger could end. A large variety of food products can be generated from hemp. The seeds contain one of the highest sources of protein in nature. Also: They have two essential fatty acids that clean your body of cholesterol. These essential fatty acids are not found anywhere else in nature! Consuming pot seeds is the best thing you could do for your body. Eat uncooked hemp seeds.

Clothes should be made from hemp. Hemp clothing is extremely strong and durable over time.You could hand clothing, made from pot, down to your grandchildren. Today, there are American companies that make hemp clothing; usually 50% hemp. Hemp fabrics should be everywhere. Instead, they are almost underground. Superior hemp products are not allowed to advertise on fascist television.

Man you went through a lot of trouble and time for that piece. I used to love pot also before The Lord Jesus Christ opened my blinded eyes and showed me my lost hell bound condition. The Lord Jesus Christ has created all herbs for wise use. For example, tobacco is worse than marijuana when it comes to effects on the body, which is the temple of God. Yet, the Lord has ordained tobacco for using on sick cattle (i.e. it is a de-worming agent in cattle). It can also be used as a poultice on bruises and wounds in livestock. It works very well for those purposes.

Hemp generally is not meant to be used by healthy people; however, it has some medical validity and a lot of industrial use that is very “green,” as the sheeple would say. If you actually read the post, you would realize that the post was about the proper use of the herb created by Christ, not about the abuse of the herb that causes the destruction of the soul.

As a christian myself I believe marijuana should be legal. God put it here for a reason. It’s a great sleep aid and stress reducer. It has other medical advantages as well.

See, I got you to make an intelligent comment.:) You are right about the pharma drugs. However, we here in CA have a big problem with legalizing marijuana for medical purposes. And yes, anything can be abused. The trouble with people using weed for pain, is that most of the populas cannot see what it is actually being used for. They just see people smoking dope. And I’ll bet some of them are on pain pills themselves!! It’s a tough call and each one has to make their own decisions. If we can just keep God and the Bible out of it in debate forums, I think a lot of points could be better made. Am I making any sense?

Good comments, but what the heck do they have to do with the story? I guess if you have a grow-op and government agents visit your home for an inspection you’d have a problem. But even without this new potential legislation you’d still have a problem if a neighbor or the utility company ratted you out.

Behind the Nylon Curtain
In 1974, Gerard Colby Zilg, wrote Du Pont: Behind the Nylon Curtain, a critical account of the role of the DuPont family in American social, political and economic history. The book was nominated for a National Book Award in 1974.
A du Pont family member obtained an advance copy of the manuscript and was “predictably outraged”. A DuPont official contacted The Fortune Book Club and stated that the book was “scurrilous” and “actionable” but produced no evidence to counter the charges. The Fortune Book Club (a subsidiary of the Book of the Month Club) reversed its decision to distribute Zilg’s book. The editor-in-chief of the Book of the Month Club declared that the book was “malicious” and had an “objectionable tone”. Prentice-Hall removed several inaccurate passages from the page proofs of the book, and cut the first printing from 15,000 to 10,000 copies, stating that 5,000 copies no longer were needed for the book club distribution. The proposed advertising budget was reduced from $15,000 to $5,000.
Zilg sued Prentice-Hall (Zilg v. Prentice-Hall), accusing it of reneging on a contract to promote sales.

i believe its stated if u bought ur faulty energy wasting appliance AFTER a certian date u will get a small refund but not a full refund so it will end up costing u a bunch of money i also believe it says that u have to apply to the energy lord to get this refund but lets say for example that i am the energy secretary and u send me a refund application and i have no obligation to approve a such refund thats its my choice to either accept or declince ur application for a refund i will not approve any why would i wanna spend a buck on a slave.

Congress or America threatened???

Is it just me…? In 2008 when the elections were months away from coming to an end, I noticed a great change in John McCain. His face was total defeat, as if he were threatened! Same was with Bush in his final days, as well as California Arnold. The end was that we were all thrown underneath the bus!

As I look and read about our members of congress throwing America and the American people under the bus – I Can’t help but believe that the congress has been threatened as well. Now I know to many of you that this accusation may seem farfetched – However, bear with me for a moment.

Why would these so-called American congress people do these things that are outright destroying America and the American people? We all heard that this was a plan started many decades ago to destroy America and have only one-world order. We have recently heard all the accusations that many of the members of congress were force to vote yes on bills design to destroy America even though they were against them – so what other could it be – other than being threatened or worst… America was threatened and these people are going along with the program in hopes to devise a plan to stop the threat.

Sounds like a great movie doesn’t it – well maybe, just maybe, the movie is already playing, especially when you look at the action and support obama has and is giving to the people who are flat-out against our America.

There are four things in any situation where you are looking for someone to take action or do something. Meaning; whether you want to sell something to someone or get a date etc., four things need to take place:
1. Get their attention! Once you have their attention, you can then create
2. Interest – And once you have created an interest, you can then create
3. Desire – And once you have created desire in people or anyone – only then will they take
4. Action!

This is how America can be put back to the Strong Nation it once was and restore government control back with the American people.

As of now, we have got the attention of many American people and have created an interest, a mild interest, but nevertheless an interest enough to create a desire, a fair amount of desire, but we need to create a lot more desire within the American people, so that action – real action – can take place to stop these people from destroying America and all the rights and freedoms of the American people.

We need to create a desire for the American people to set aside One-day of their lives to Restore America – to restore American government control back to the people.

That One-Day would be for every American to stop what they are doing for just One-Day – bring this country to a HALT and demand that the government save America, including answering to the American people all the unanswered questions like; is obama an actually US Citizen? – show us his true Birth Certificate! Why are bills that are designed to destroy America and the American people being passed?

Furthermore, the American people should have a site that would show all the bills presented to congress to be voted on – to show to congress what the American people want and don’t want to pass. A site where America can show their vote on these bills – this way, our congressmen will know exactly what the people who they represent want and don’t want. It will make them ACCOUNTABLE! If they are not doing the job we elected them to do – then we need to replace them!

We have the wherewithal and the technology to do this – we just need the American people to get balls and create enough desire to take this ACTION!

Now if anyone is thinking… why aren’t you taking any action? I have no problem taking political action! I have the knowledge, courage and backbone to put the web site together to make our congress accountable and I have the knowledge, courage and backbone to put the One-Day Campaign into action – What I don’t have (unfortunately) is the finances needed to accomplish this endeavor. If I want a dang energy audit, I can ask my utility companies for one and they are far more trustworthy in my eyes than some government paid bureaucrat, because for one thing, the utility workers live and work within town. Or are they? They could be forced to tell what all they found in your home, or just have a big mouth and tell everyone. The gov still resides over the utility companies in some way. It may be through the state as it is already, or they may enact a federal law. But they will get their info somehow.

Our water has been treated with more toxic compounds to make us dossal and more easily controllable. Our skies are now sprayed with more chemicals and our food filled with known carcinogens… The public school system teaching us only what they want us to learn and teaching us or convincing us of our limitations. The media continues to poison and create our habits and our minds with a CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) controlled news and entertainment television bombardment and with increasingly violent video games. I think everyone realizes this is going on but it seems out of control and unstoppable. Bigger than all of us… But it’s not…. It is time to slow down and get a second look at what we’re collectively doing. The first thing you have to do is get informed as to the dark and dare I say evil plans against us. It’s like the Matrix almost. You can’t believe it and at the same time you kind of always knew it was going on. Knowledge is power and with a little research your whole world view opens up…. In this case ignorance is an excuse. You can’t react or change something that is hidden from you and now is your time to learn about what has been hidden and react and change. Pay attention to what is going on but don’t get overwhelmed by it and don’t be discouraged. The media will always be painting a scary picture. They’re good at it. They have lots of practice. Fear is a powerful weapon to keep you under control and obedient.

Just think what would happen if tomorrow on the news you heard that there was peace on earth and you could relax and love everyone everywhere. That we were going to work together as a planet to fix all of the starvation and poverty as well as the sickness and global warming problems (which we could). How would you feel? You don’t know and probably can’t imagine. I can tell you one thing. You would feel better if you knew that we were going to live in love, peace and harmony with the whole population of the planet forever. Wow… I just freaked myself out with that thought. Take a second and think about it yourself. Did it freak out too. How did your heart feel when you imagined that possibility? Feels good huh?

It’s not impossible if you get rid of the puppet show around us. It’s like controlling both side of a boxing match. No matter who wins it’s the promoter that benefits. Don King rings a bell! The promoters are not on our side and are not our friends. There is too much money to be made on war, killing, and violence. If we don’t get along they can make more money and keep us scared and under their PROTECTION. Come on. This is America. We have people here from everywhere and we already know that we are all the same and we can all get along. It’s the media and the governments that want us to stay fighting. We are over that. For any reason they pass this bill ! There is a very simple solution to this. When the inspector comes to my home I will ask him for his name and business card.. Then basically tell him the truth. Listen, ” My family has all died within the past 7 years.” also I will let him know that I’ve lost my job. Then I will tell him this, ” For some reason you make the government send me a huge tax bill, because of you finding things wrong.” My promise to you is ,” I’ll come find you do my own inspection of your home at night.” It’s pretty easy to find information on someone in this day and age. Listen, we can continue to take this abuse or stand up and fight. That’s what I recommend, we all get strong and do not stand for this insanity. My heads shaved and I am 225 lbs. Well Senator Cap and trade is a very very bad idea during this economic depression. I am poor but live a good life

under budgeting but cap and trade will ruin everything for me and my mom, cap and trade will not stop pollution at

all (it will probably help a little but not for a longshot) and will only lead to more massive suffering and plunge

our economy almost into a unrecoverable pit of despair and leave us very vulnerable to terrorist attacks when China

dumps the dollar. If our country goes this deep America will become no more because the debt will get so massive

this would open our country up to possibly risk China just acting like they own us because of all the debt America

owes to foreign countries. America is in serious trouble and there are better ways to save the environment and yet

build the economy to par, instead of penalizing carbon output we should plant more trees and destroy all clean

energy patents bought by car companies and oil companies so innovation can happen and we can become a energy

independent nation, and our economy will become restored, and America will still be a big super nation. Cap and

trade will only bring our quality more lower then Europe, Mexico, Canada, and even Cuba. Cap and trade is a

nightmare and everything about it is just a awful idea and should not happen and if our government fails to stop

cap and trade our country will be going down under economic implosions as a result of this bill.

Cap and trade is bad for security, bad for the land of the free, bad for prosperity, bad for all of us, and bad for

jobs. Also there are old buildings I really like and cap and trade may mess that up as well if it needs to be

environemtally friendly it will ruin many historic homes like Old Salem.

We the people are struggling already since the Bush Administration, please don’t sufficate many Americans into

living in tent cities, I also rely on the computer for helping to save the environment with click donation sites

and was running computer grid programs to help humanity, what cap and trade will do is shut down click donation

sites, and ruin the internet and the world and bring us back into being forced to live in the 18th century and

plunge the economy and turn our country into a chaotic martial law violent state thats as bad as violence in third

world countries including the middle east, it is a fact that countries where only the rich live good lead to almost

all Americans becoming thieves trying to survive the cruel world, is this what Obama and Al Gore wanted? Did they

want us living in a thug state where only the rich get away with anything while everyone else suffers with bad

laws, poor education, and horrible grade representation.

Please mr/ms Senator please vote no to cap and trade or if it’s too late please vote to repeal it! I don’t want

America to turn into a third world country where the most electricity, carbon output, and water goes directly to

the super rich unlimited while we all struggle to stay within a carbon limit and possibly losing more homes. I urge

you to act on your heart instead of propaganda and realize that the sun is why we have global warming, I understand

we need to cut back on pollution but this bill will bring more out of control regulations that I feared during

Bushes term, I was fearful of what he could do to our country and I see the same actions with this bill.

Are you kidding??? Here in Los Angeles the DWP bill was $94 for just 2 months. I live alone in a small apt and am careful with my lights. When checking the bill, the “trash pickup” portion was higher then my light use!!! And it’s been doubled twice. How much of that was in excess taxes?

My home is unfinished and I can’t afford all that they require. I would be fined to the point where I would loose my home and be forced to live in a tent city. I can barely put food on my table after the government gets it share of my labor when I work, because there isn’t that much work out there to be had. All the work is going over seas. May be I will just wate till I start hearing my neibours guns go off before I take for the hills. I don’t know at this point. They will charge me for camp fires and a license to hunt. I won’t have any money at all except from panning gold from the rivers or something like that.

If there is an uprising I would certainly hope that more than just the ‘Washington Crowd’ is fired. I would sure hope major ‘feudal’ corporations are stopped. Massive ones like Monsanto, that use their extreme leverage to induce fascism and have bought the congress. On one side I believe certainly the current ‘Washington Crowd’ should all lose their jobs (except Ron Paul), but these corporations have to be taken down or at least downsized to have no influence in our government. There is nothing in the constitution allowing for such insanity, nor is there a place for lobbyist who get their money from corporations to advance certain agendas.
Also, if there is some type of ‘revolution’ (peaceful I hope) lets clean the whole thing…not like Romania that just got rid of the upper echelon of leaders. In fact, lets dismantle anything brought to us by our ‘government’ that isn’t set forth in the constitution…and work from there.
In all of this, the integrity of Ron Paul is very inspiring.

Whats Wrong with this? It will save you money in the long run by cutting your energy bills, and reduction on CO2 will save the planet from massive global warming. We americans are so wasteful, why not save energy is better for the people of the world. Why do Republicans always want to put more money in the Oil companies pockets, yea lets build gas guzzling V8 SUV and Cars that use up 50 times what a prius uses, both get you there in the same manor, so why waste oil doing in a SUV or Camaro or Mustang or charger that get like 10 mpg it’s stupid.
