Congressperson Dennis Kucinich will be giving a presentation during the Congressional Judiciary Committee, Friday July 25th 2008, scheduled to start at 10:00 AM EST. Discussing abuse of Executive power.
The failure of the media to cover such an important subject as Impeachment is unprecedented in American history. It shows that the U.S. corporate-controlled mainstream media believe it has the right to deny the American people news that is highly important to them. This cannot stand, and if we let them know it is being noticed, will not stand.
Congressperson Kucinich has specifically requested this: Considering all he has done and continues to do for us, perhaps that is not too much to ask… Contact the major news organizations and INSIST they fully cover and report on the Judiciary hearings. If enough of us do, they will not dare ignore it as they currently plan to do; and as they have all other Impeachment news to date. Calling is more immediate and will make the most effect in this very time-sensitive event:

Called ABC 4 times, each time getting transfere to the wrong party, finally got a very nice lady that said ABC will not interrupt regular coverage to air Dennis Kucinich. Called MSNBC and they said they do have reporters there now and that they will decide once the hearing starts if they will air it live as “Breaking News”, I also e-mailed CNN three times yesterday about airing the story, let’s see if these assholes will air it.

The MSM does not give a DAMN about real news. It only takes about 3-4 minutes of watching any of the MSM channels to realize they ONLY care about ratings. I would love to see this hearing on TV, but even with people calling and sending emails, they wouldn’t dare cover this unless they thought something crazy (death, riots, etc) was going to happen.
Be careful watching MSM on tv, the propaganda is intense, one could easily be affected from watching even a few minutes of that garbage.

called every number on list so far only nbc is going to cover hearings cnn told me no way going to cover, this is third time articles presented its a non story couldnt explain why macanoodle (spelling) was covered so much

You guys, come on, the MSM are really just a bunch of citizen freindly,constitutionally savvy, informative people just trying to do their jobs!
They can’t help it if the real news just somehow doesn’t make it on the air!It’s just a boo-boo by some lower echelon programer that “forgot” to air the “piece,”You know, like the privates,corporals and sergeants at “gitmo” that “accidently” tortured those “illegal combatants,” they got exactly what they deserved for following “president” Cheneys orders!

How hypocritcal of Alex and prisonplanet to exhort us all to “call the media” when he and his copycat cohorts are constantly calling the corporate mass media a shill group of sell outs. Put the call out to your trolls on the pptv forum to call, because I wouldn’t waste my time. But the trolls on the pptv forum and its mods who have a bad habit of banning pptv members who PAY to post there (in violation of their own terms of pptv membership). I’m not calling anyone.

Hey aura, people are just pissed that the media conveniently doesnt cover situations of intrest that have a great bearing on the up and coming future, and that they choose what to, and not to cover..news is news. Nobody’s telling you to call anyone if you dont have a fukin clue whats going on..REMOVE HEAD FROM ASS- THEN SPEAK.

I sent an email to ALL of my local mainstream media outlets in Denver. I received ONE response which I will copy/paste below. I was sure what to make of it. I did eventually laugh though. Here it is:
“Thank you very much for writing to us; however, it is vital we make sure you have your facts correct before continuing to forward this email to others.
This story has been widely reported by both national and local news outlets including this one as this is a repeated attempt on the part of Mr. Kucinich. (His first was buried by the same Judiciary Committee which will examine this new article of impeachment)
In fact, a quick GoogleNews search of Kucinich shows more than 400
articles, including television stories, on this very issue.
It has been and will continue to be duly reported.
