CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A teenager died after being hit with a police Taser gun for 37 seconds, and the whole thing was caught on tape by surveillance cameras.
Authorities said that Darryl Turner had been in a confrontation with a supervisor at work at a North Carolina grocery store.
When Officer Jerry Dawson arrived, he fired his Taser gun at the 17-year-old and struck him in the sternum.

“The initial use of the (Taser gun) is not in question,” said Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Chief Ken Miller.
However, for 37 seconds, Dawson continued to use the Taser gun against the teen.
An autopsy revealed that Darryl Turner died of a heart attack, authorities said.
NBC Charlotte affiliate WCNC reported that Dawson was given a five-day suspension for firing the Taser gun too long.

well at least he got a 5 day suspension for murdering a minor! Many police probably think that is too stiff a punishment to murder other teens with thier tasers… Hope you didn’t worry too much Dawson that you might get anything worse then your 5 days to think about your murder.

5 days off..probably with pay too…time for a revolution..Im tired of sitting, waiting and watching as our once great country continues to go in the crapper. No I am not with the FED, I am just being HONEST. 95% of the population isn’t worth saving. I am sick and tired of spending my time and money only to be laughed at, drinks thrown in my face, etc. I now hope things get really bad. Have to keep trying to wake up the sheep, but I have to agree with USA to Pathetic to Save, it does get frustrating. To bad we can’t just leave them behind, but unfortunately, we’re together whether we like it or not. Hearts and Minds! How do you think all revolution begins? Although the masses are never going to stand up, all we need them to do is stand down when we do. Just go about grazing while we do what has to be done. And the more sheep that get run over in the GWOT, the more will come over to our side. It’s one thing trying to occupy a country of 30-40 million, it’s another thing to try to occupy one with 300 million. Especially a country that at one time was the freest of all nations.

The police officer should be charged with murder, instead he gets a 5-day suspension with pay most likely. The cops KNOW that a taser has the ability to kill somebody, that officer knowingly shocked that kid for that long. That is murder and not to mention the kid was only 17 and most likely UNARMED and harmless. Sad, sad, days are approaching. If I was his mama, I would sell everything I own and get the best damn attorney I could and I would go out of my way to tell the whole world what has happened.

Wish Alex Jones could get the chief of police on this out of control cop who doesnt mind doing his duty to murder a 17 year old minor. I was once with a friend who accidentaly hit a slick spot on the street and slammed into a parking meter, and when the police confronted him we both waited. When we were talking between us I looked over and the cop already had his gun pulled out and was ready to shoot and he didnt even say anything. I told him he better put his gun back in his holster or shoot me because he had no reason to pull his gun out. He ended up backing down and eventually when his higher ups heard about it they dropped any false allegations they thought they might get away with. There is alot of these guys out there that want to shoot first and be seen as a hero for the murder they do. Sometimes a lawsuit really isnt enough in this case.

Is this right? 17 year old (juvenile) employed at grocery store (minimum wage at less than 40 hours per week) confronting his supervisor = DESERVE TO DIE? Answer: YES IN AMERICA.
I can imagine 100 reasons why this KID would have had a legitimate reason to pissed off at his boss. I can imagine this KID thought to himself on a daily basis “just what the hell am I doing here?”. I can imagine this kid thought to himself on a daily basis “I can’t wait until (some day) I’ll be able to tell that S.O.B. I quit”. I can imagine this KID thought to himself on a daily basis “if only there were some way for the labor laws to force employers into fair labor practices and standards”. I can imagine this KID thought to himself on a daily basis “there’s nowhere else for me to go at this damn grocery store”. I can imagine this KID thought to himself on a daily basis “well at least I’ve got a job which is more than I can say for a lot of people”.
What I can’t imagine is that this KID ever thought that he would end up being MURDERED by the GOVERNMENT while working to make ends meet at a freaking grocery store.

Obviously the cop is a coward so he drew his ego device (the taser) to exercise his right to be a punk and show this kid who was boss.
The fact of the matter is, the police state is here and it’s either the taser or 10 punk cops jumping on you trying to break bones so they can laugh about it later in the locker room shower if you disobey their authority by acting like a man and standing up for your rights.
The question is, which method of torture would you prefer because that’s what these mush-brained idiots love to do.
