This raises an interesting point about the people on this site that deny Anthropogenic Global Warming.
How many of those people claim it is not possible for us to affect the climate like that, but totally believe we can change the weather at will, and that chemtrails are a global threat?
How do they reconcile these two opposing viewpoints? That’s what I want to know…

I don’t believe we can change to weather at will.
If we could do that, the earth wouldn’t be cooling like it has for the last 10 years.

Although weather control is not something we Americans have learned of in school or hear about on television it is truly a scientific reality. Go to YouTube and type HAARP into the search engine. If you actually research the history of weather control you will easily discover that modifying the weather is far from being a new technology. The government’s new HAARP technology has successfully enhanced this capability beyond any of our wildest dreams.

Come on people, don’t believe in wheather mod? People have been playing with the weather since the 50’s. Haarp is based out of alska and using microwave immisions can make a hurrican bigger, change the direction of a hurricanes, cause earthquakes, ect. second, i think some things can be controlled weather-wise and some cannot. but worst of all, the things that they are doing in the name of weather modification are frankenstinian (yep, made up a word) experiments which are wrecking the planet more and faster!

Karmakaze, I would recommend you google for scientists petition against Kyoto or against global warming. There are 30,000 scientists on that particular petition alone, the climate has always changed and always will. At approx. 1,000 AD, Greenland was very warm comapred to now. There were extensive Viking settlements there. Unfortunately for them, many ignored the climate changes that began to occur over several decades and because of that, they froze to death in one winter in areas that had previously been habitable. They chose to ignore the signs and the survival methods remembered by natives of Greenland, they had to be right, just like the global warming has to be man-made crowd. No one is 100 percent correct, especially Al Gore. There is ample proof that we are not causing it. I don’t know your age, but way back in the 1970s we were promised that by the 1990’s we would all be starving to death because our emissions were absolutely causing an new Ice Age. How about the Ozone hole? Who ever saw it and how did it magically heal? Oh yeah we got rid of CFCs and it just filled back in. It goes on and on, the agenda of control exists just as surely for do-good save the Earth folks as it does for those of us who choose to believe in different ideas. But don’t worry soon you can have all of us thrown in jail who dare to use a traditional light bulb.

Seems that KTVU isn’t letting me watch their little news story. Is it bogged down from all the Info warriors out there or is it a conspiracy? Can’t have people showing their relatives the evening news story as an example of reality. Either way, mention weather modification in 2000, you are a nut. Now it is just on the news, no big deal. Totally normal, just stay asleep. Kinda funny, why would northern California be having ANY weather modification going on? What exactly are THEY spraying in the atmosphere? Even if they can’t control the weather, what about the money, secrecy, and possible health effects.

I suspect that the US government may be using HAARP technology or Directed Energy Weaponry to heat up the artic region like they have experimentally done to the stratosphere and ionosphere. I believe they are doing this in order to finally gain access to the massive oil and natural gas deposits there. Natural resources that Russia is in competition to dominate. If we look closer at the Polar regions where the ice caps are in fact not melting at all but are steadily increasing in size, I think it becomes pretty darn apparent that something not of a natural origin is going down here.

A little research might clear up your misconceptions. For example:

One winter? Actually, no. Extensive settlements? Actually no. Was Greenland abandoned by all Humans? NO. The Vikings may have died off, or gone looking for somewhere more hospitable to their culture, but the Inuit never left. So much for “freezing to death”.

Oh you didn’t know that? That the southern portion of Greenland (the parts not covered by glaciers) has ALWAYS been relatively green, and was probably greener due to a known warm period?
I bet you also don’t know that not all climate models predict Greenland will get warmer as soon as other areas of the globe. Some even predict slight cooling at first, but, over a few centuries the trend will be upwards, and measurements seem to be fitting those models pretty well.

Yes idiot, it DID. I lived under it and I remember the DAILY updates showing it expand over half my country, until CFC’s were banned globally. THEN the hole started to shrink, and a few years ago it disappeared for the first time in over a decade. It does come and go though, but it is NOWHERE near as big as it was before. I have relatives who suffered the effects – a rare form of skin cancer, Melanoma, skyrocketed during those years, and it was common to suffer 2nd degree burns THROUGH CLOTHING from the intense UV that was no longer being filtered out. At one point, even with a t-shirt and sunscreen, it only took 10 to 20 minutes to get a sunburn ON A TOTALLY OVERCAST DAY. Of course you knew that didn’t you?

You might wish to better acquaint yourself with the government’s HAARP program and what they have been experimenting with prior to again flooding this forum with a satire of your alternate reality. Now he’s all sad and lonely and the only way he can find any pleasure is to sit in the safety of his smelly room, surrounded with discarded junk food containers, venting his spleen at anyone and everyone. Sometimes he goes to the toilet to try and evacuate but alas, he suffers from chronic constipation and he just keeps filling up with his own shit. Now, he’s so big he can’t even get out of the door of his dark smelly room and so he relies on the constant stream of junk food deliveries to keep in alive, although he’s really just a walking corpse. Just for the hell of it, let’s throw soccer into the mix.
Soccer started out with the right idea, but then just took it too far. A “tackle” doesn’t involve ANY man-on-man physical contact, but going to extremes has actually made them go full circle. So in soccer, if one man comes within three feet of another, the second goes flying through the air, in a magnificent dive worthy of an Olympic medal, then hits the ground screaming like a little girl and generally acting like he’s about to die.
