Cheney “Assassination Unit” Still Active Under Obama, Including Domestically
Joint Special Operations Command comprises Delta Force personnel that have killed U.S. citizens and acted in support of Obama’s expanded war in Pakistan

Revelations that a political assassination unit which reported solely to Dick Cheney was in operation during the Bush administration are absent the fact that the unit in question, the Joint Special Operations Command, has been active for decades, has been deployed domestically in the U.S., has killed U.S. citizens, and is an integral part of Barack Obama’s expanded wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Seymour Hersh dropped a bombshell when he told a University of Minnesota audience on Tuesday that the Joint Special Operations Command is, “An executive assassination ring essentially, and it’s been going on and on and on,” Hersh stated. “Under President Bush’s authority, they’ve been going into countries, not talking to the ambassador or the CIA station chief, and finding people on a list and executing them and leaving. That’s been going on, in the name of all of us.”
Subsequent media coverage of Hersh’s comments, such as a special feature on last night’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann, has framed the story in the inaccurate context that the JSOC was a personal hit team acting on behalf of Cheney alone, when in reality the unit was created in 1980 and continues to play a central role in Barack Obama’s continuation of the so-called war on terror.
As we learn from the Global Security website, the Joint Special Operations Command in fact comprises mostly of Delta Force soldiers and SEALs. The unit was established in 1980 and is located at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina and at nearby Fort Bragg.

The assassination unit was not a creation of the Bush administration or Dick Cheney, it has in fact been “involved in a number of covert military operations over the last two decades,” including the covert U.S. invasions of Panama and Granada, as well as search and rescue missions in Somalia, and searching for alleged war criminals in Yugoslavia.
Notably, the unit also routinely “provides support to domestic law enforcement agencies” during high profile events such as the Olympics, the World Cup, political party conventions; and Presidential inaugurations, including the 2005 inauguration of George W. Bush, at which a small group of commandoes were “deployed under a secret counterterrorism program named Power Geyser”.
It was also reported that Delta Force were involved in the largest ever single act of slaughter of civilians by law enforcement in US history – the 1993 siege on the Branch Davidian compound at Waco.
In 1999, Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St. Clair revealed that Delta Force units based out of Fort Bragg had been enlisted as part of the assault team on the Branch Davidian Compound. 76 people died in the siege, including 21 children and two pregnant women.
Alex Jones has gone up against Delta Force on numerous occasions while reporting on urban warfare training drills around the country. Delta Force conducted mock raids, dropping bombs in San Antonio, Kingsville, Alice, and Corpus Christie amongst other Texas towns. In many cases, the local authorities were not even warned before Delta Force invaded, and in one case, they even tried to pay off a police chief in San Antonio before he kicked them out.

According to Global Security, Bill Clinton’s 1994 Presidential Decision Directive 25 “exempt(s) the Joint Special Operations Command from the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 18USC Sec.1385, PL86-70, Sec. 17[d]. which makes it illegal for military and law enforcement to exercise jointly.”
The Joint Special Operations Command is a sub-unit of the United States Special Operations Command, which is described at the “Department of Defense’s front man in the global war on terrorism”. A New York Times article from last year reported that the Joint Special Operations Command were conducting ground raids in Pakistan supposedly aimed at hunting “Al-Qaeda members”. Such raids have only increased since Obama came to power.
Once again, the corporate media has completely fudged the most prescient issue arising out of Hersh’s revelation, which is the fact that the Joint Special Operations Command (mainly comprising of Delta Force) was not merely the brainchild or personal political assassination wing for Dick Cheney, but it has been in operation for decades, including inside the United States, has been involved in the murder of U.S. citizens, and is an integral part of Barack Obama’s expansion of the so-called war on terror.
By failing to reverse Bill Clinton’s PDD25 and not abolishing the Joint Special Operations Command, Barack Obama is in violation of Gerald R. Ford’s Executive Order 11905, which states, “No employee of the United States Government shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, political assassination.”
Dick Cheney is also in violation of this executive order, but with the Obama administration signaling that they will not pursue any members of the Bush administration for war crimes, the Republicans and the Democrats are once again running defense for each other as more illegal acts are committed.

let me tell you this has been happening all over the world for a long time. My fiance’s ex husband was a marine for 14 years, in that time he was infantry, sniper, Reconnaissance marine, EOD Tech (bomb disposal). The years that he was a sniper she said he wasnt right, he couldnt remember things he had done, or places that he had been too, only that he killed someone, but could not put a face or any of the events to memory. IT sounds like it really tortured him…. Who knows what these bozo’s are up to

I am a teacher of Law of Attraction and the Power of Positive Thinking. I have had much success with changing my mind to affect the outer world.
However, because I teach this topic I get WAY TOO MANY people who wish to put their head in the sand, turn the other way, and deny that any of this is going on. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING because I know this is NOT what I teach or how Law of Attraction or Positive Thought works.

I wonder if elements from this same unit were among the cochroaches that electronically shot down Senator Paul Wellstone’s plane murdering him, his wife, his kids, and two pilots. War criminal Cheney had told Wellstone that there would be severe consequences if he were to voice opposition to the Iraq invasion. Wellstone was dead a few weeks later.
Maybe elements of this same unit were on the ground at the Ron Brown plane crash scene murdering survivors including putting a bullet through Commerce Secretary Brown’s forehead; right between the eyes.

None of you should be surprised. This is the nature of the US and all special ops . We were not trained for public relations. In real war with a truly legitimate enemy these are the spear point. All nations have them. The US, Britain, Australia, Canada, Russia, China, North and South Korea. There existence is necessary and required part of national defense. The problem is when they are employed by evil political power elites that are not answerable or accountable for the actions of those units and the units are used to subvert legitimate national authority. I KNOW for a FACT that DELTA-FORCE has been around for at least twenty-five years!!!
As to being located any specific place, they seem to change locations every few years.
Take this into consideration: The Joint Special Operations Forces was consolidated at Ft.Bragg, NC about the time frame of 1996-1998 ( I could be off a little ). I saw the new buildings that were going to be the command and operations center for JSOF ( My barracks was just across the street – Yadkin Dr. – from there. )
@PJ Watson: You have no idea how much of a “hornet’s nest” Ft.Bragg, NC really is! That is place was scary then. Imagine what it is like now!?!
I have a lot of respect for folks in the 3rd and 7th ( and actually all of ) the Special Forces units. I just can’t agree to HOW they are used and WHAT they are used for. This is another light into just how DISGUSTING a system we have running the world!!!

Let these people understand that two can play the game. Years ago there was a “Special Team” at a rally with a light machine gun set up to use if the rally got “boisterous”. I was sitting on a hillside about 5oo yds. away with a Remington 40X targtet rifle and a 15X Lyman scope. I had my crosshairs on the man behind the machine gun and had he touched the trigger he would have been gone. Like I say, two can play the same game.

This goes on all the time. I have witnessed two incidents within a year. The house down the street was slated to be torn down (this is in a quiet, residential area). One day, I was startled awake by a HUGE BOOM. I looked down the street and a “swat-like” team was down the street doing something in the house that was slated to be torn down. I called the city police and they played dumb…”we don’t know anything about that”. It all was taped with several witnesses.
A guy on the same street was swat teamed, rifles drawn and everything…all on tape again with several witnesses. Called the police twice on two different occasions and they “didn’t know a thing” about it.

“killed American citizens” gets repeated several times both in the text and in the video, and yet not a single instance of an American citizen being directly killed by Joint Special Operations Command either here or abroad is listed.
In the attack on the Branch Davidian complex there were TWO representatives of the JSOC and they never left the joint FBI/ATF command post. They were there strictly as observers.
If they have been involved in direct attacks on American citizens then we definitely need to know, but unless you have verifiable reports of such an attack, then it is only speculation and should not be portrayed as fact.
If you do have verifiable accounts of their involvement in the death of American citizens, please report the facts as clearly as you can. As I said, it is something we need to know.
