You can’t have an expensive (read profitable) war without an enemy and bin Laden was the perfect scapegoat. They were telling us his name within hours of the WTC controlled demolitions. He was well known and was near death at the time of 9/11/01 (he died in December of 2001 according the several sources). He was the perfect boogie man.

Google “bin laden dead” and learn. Afghanistan was invaded because the Taliban woundn’t let Unocal build it’s oil pipeline. Google “taliban Houston Texas” and learn. Saddam’s country was invaded because of oil, the dollar and Israel. Saddam was going to start selling oil in Euros (would have collapsed the dollar, which will happen soon anyway) and he defied the U.S. He was our boy in the Iraq/Iran war but decided to thumb his nose at the U.S. Cheney and the devil are good buddies!

If it doesn’t ‘matter’ because the country is safe, then where’s the accountability? Doesn’t that mean that he is free to do it again?!? (Unless Bin Laden is already pushing up poppies, as Benazir Bhutto stated on that viral video, just before her assassination.)
