Church Document Encourages Congregation To Obey Government
Shocking perversion of Romans 13 claims that pro-abortion Obama is “God’s minister”

A shocking document has come to light from a church in Ohio which educates its congregation that Barack Obama’s presidency is appointed by God and that Obama himself is “God’s minister,” in another perversion of Romans 13, the bible verse cited as an excuse for Christians not to oppose tyranny.
Ohio District Superintendent Rev. John Wooton was responsible for distributing the pamphlet, which was handed out at the Assembly of God church in Ohio, according to a reader who forwarded the document to us. Click here for the PDF file.
“This was handed out at the Assembly of God church that my fiance and I used to attend. We immediately stopped attending after getting this flier about ’submitting to Obama and the government,’ states the reader.
“The pastor even brought children to the front of the church, encouraging them to submit to teachers, firemen, and the police. It was insane.”
“I confronted the pastor about his stance on Romans 13, a year prior, and he assured me that he would never sell out his church. This sermon was given on the immediate Sunday after Obama’s election win. Please post this and inform others about it. I never, ever thought this would happen in the church I was attending, but thankfully, we were informed enough to leave this church,” he concludes.
The document cites Romans 13 verses 1-4 and claims that the following “paraphrases” can be interpreted from the bible.
- Barack Obama’s presidency is appointed by God. (v 1)
- Christians should lead the way in supporting Barack Obama’s presidency. (v 2)
- Barack Obama’s presidency can be a force for good and a deterrent against evil. (v 3)
- As president, Barack Obama is God’s minister to you for good. (v 4)
The document concedes that a majority of practicing Christians probably didn’t even vote for Obama because of his pro-abortion policies, indeed one of Obama’s first acts as President was to issue an executive order which ensured that millions more black babies are aborted in third world countries, with American taxpayers picking up the tab.
Obama himself has also scoffed at Christians in the past, arrogantly stating that people “cling to guns or religion” in tough times.
Despite this, the document urges Christians to “support loudly” Obama’s policies and “remember who is in control”.

Romans 13 has routinely been cited by tyrants throughout history in an attempt to prevent Christians from opposing their rule, indeed, it was Hitler’s favorite bible verse. Religious groups such as the Catholics in 1930’s Germany also used the verse as an excuse not to rise up against the Nazis when they were still a minority political party.
A large number of mainstream church representatives claim that Romans 13 means Christians should obey the ruling authorities no matter how tyrannical they are, and yet the bible itself is full of examples of men standing up to corrupt authorities and attempting to change the system – Jesus, John the Baptist and Moses being the prime examples.
Should Jesus have refrained from throwing the money changers out of the temple? Should Moses have cowered from standing up to the Egyptian slave masters? Should John the Baptist have kept quiet about the sinful practices of Herod Antipas, his condemnation of which led to his beheading?
The fact that large churches in America are encouraging their congregation to all but obey the government and support their agenda even if it opposes basic Christian principles is a shocking indictment of how much control the state now exercises over the church through the carrot of the 501(c)(3) Status dangled in front of corruptible pastors and preachers.
Ominously. as we first exposed in 2006, FEMA is training pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to “obey the government” in preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation. The bible verse that FEMA encourages religious representatives to cite while undertaking this role? Romans 13.
The individual who forwarded the document noted that around the time the sermon was given, the church seemed to have an influx of funds.
“This church has a new stage with flat screen monitors, updated church vans, and is talking about expanding the church by building a new church, which all occurred around the giving of this sermon. Mind you, we were having a hard time buying new chairs for our church, no more than a year ago. Coincidence?” he writes.

This is not unusual.
Anyone who has had anything to do with the ‘manufactured’ religions of the end of the 19th century, for example the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Mormons, Born Agains etc, know that they all condemn any disobedience to governent (other than their own special little laws) and they also demand total obedience to government.
The JWs believe that governments are put in power by God and are God’s servants.
Therefore, people from these tightly controlled cults, some say brainwashed cults, are taught to never disobey and are perfect mind control slaves of any government be it a good or a bad government.
I believe that some of these religions were manufactured by illuminati families, ie Russells set up the JWs, just for the purpose of having obedient mind slaves that would follow any instructions given.
Any government would just have to keep its ‘manufactured religions’ members and remove everyone else to have a mind control slave population.

Jehovah’s Witnesses would rather go to prison they kill their fellow man!

Jesus also said his true followers would be no part of the world!

The Assemblies of God churches are loosely affiliated, non-denomenational, congregational rule churches. While they are doctrinally sound churches, (Biblically speaking), no one congregation is under marching orders from a central governing body.
It is possible that the a pastor from another AOG church can have a totally opposite view on Obama and/or the Bush who just left office. If you look at Biblical history, God raised up Cyrus from Persia to crush the Babylonian empire. An example of God raising up a very Un-Godly regime to destroy another one. When God decides to do something, the plans of men can not fight his plans or his will.
However this AOG pastor’s logic is very flawed. If Obama or Bush are doing things which are wrong, immoral and Un-Godly, it is the job of us Christians to be at the very least vocal against this regime. If you take this pastor’s message one step further, he would telling people in Nazi Germany to obey Hitler, or in Communist Russia to obey Stalin.
These are not extreme examples. Both Bush and Obama have committed heinous acts against people of other nations and against the American population. It is the job of every Christian to resist this agenda. I am not saying with use of force. I am saying that every Christian knows these men are evil and those who do not are obviously in denail or spiritually blinded.
America is no longer a righteous nation. Just because it contains good men and women does not make us righteous as an entity. Our Senate and the Oval Office has been filled with corruption and treason for many administrations. Like the Roman Empire, the American Empire will fall hard and fast unless we change our ways.
Alex Jones warnings are accurate and timely, but the honest truth is we can never win this battle without the help of God.

If you actually take the time to study any biblical history; (I can’t see how one could have an opinion if he doesn’t even have the facts) You will see that in Gen. 6:4 there were Nephelim born in those days (by acts of fallen angels with humans and animals, totally against God’s will), generations of them. Some of those (after the flood, because it happened again) were wiped out in battle under various races. You might recognize some of these races by the names that the ‘Alien agenda’ groups are promoting.
You can’t tell me that there is anything wrong with wiping out a race of Luciferian flesh eating giants, when they are hunting you.
Do some reading, you might come to understand why certain battles took place. It was usually caused by defending large groups of people.

By the way, evolution has never been proven by man. The Bible does not disprove that the earth is not 6 million years old. It states that at creation the earth was without form and void. I just called his office and they confirmed that he preached about it in his sermon, passed out the literature, but also emailed it to the Ohio church Ministers. So this is not a single pastor preaching to his flock, but the head of the Ohio District Council for Assemblies of God Church emailing his ministers in what appears to be guidance to them. Is this something happening in all states?

Any Christian who lets a church or minister use Romans 13 to submit to an evil government leader needs to wake up and leave that church immediately and take as many people with them as possible. A minister who allows himself to be swayed by the government is serving the wrong master.
The King James Bible Romans 13:1 states: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” It is the newer translations of the Bible that use the word government instead of higher powers.
Using the logic of the church in question, should Christians have supported Hitler or Stalin when their were in power? Of course not! One should never blindly support leaders or government based on Romans 13. It is so sad to see people led to enslavement (economic or otherwise) due to following the wrong leaders and not thinking. Think for yourselves people! Wake Up!

Yes the Bible does say that Christians are to submit to authority.
But the authority has to have a legitimate basis, and in this case that has been called into doubt.

I went to a rally for Chuck Baldwin when he was campaigning in So. California. Actually that verse itself is not directly from Jesus Christ anyway..I think that was the word of St. Paul who was trying to aggressively call for Christians to support their Christian government(no idea which one that is).

I disagree with the approach taken by this article. The reason Obama cannot use Romans 13 is because it applies to him. In other words, he is a public “Servant”- the American people are the Sovereign. It is we the people who have the right to use Romans 13 to get the Government to obey us- not the other way around. The whole Bible is written by the physical hand of humans who were inspired to write what they did. Yes, Paul did write the book of Romans. Paul was formally Saul, who physically persecuted Christians for the goverment he served before his conversion into Christianity. Paul died a martyred death by a government he would not cave into, so the logic that Paul was preaching to obey government is illogical. Paul was stating that government was required, as it is spoken about in Genesis, but he stated that God’s worldly government of man was to be set up where we obey the government that obeys God. You see, we have a resposibility to obey a Godly government and that the only ones to fear that government are those who do bad. That government is not to be a terror to good people but bad…paraphrased from Romans 13. When the government is not in obedience to God, then we do not obey it. That is essentially the ideals of our founding fathers who set up a republican government. Read the following from the Declaration of Independance and remember we are American!!

I Agree that there are MANY who place their “Interpretations” above the written words as opposed to literal translations directly from the Hebrew or Greek Writings.

It is 100% proven that the bible prophecies written over 2000 years ago are and have come true. You ever notice that people easily believe prophecies of nostradomus, the mayan calender 2012, but they always try to disprove the bible. Scientists and others are always trying to prove the bible wrong, CANNOT DO!! Nostradomus, cacey, the mayans none have been as accurate as the bible. That is why i believe most people try to disprove the bible because THEY CANT! It is just too scary to see that bible prophecies are coming true. None of the other prophets have ever ever ever been as right on as the bible. Bible names names, names places. They all exhist and think about this. NO SCIENTISTS HAVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO DISPROVE THE BIBLE YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE IT IS ALL TRUE. I was talking to my dad the other day and i could not understand why someone like the bilderbergs, bohemian grove and other things could happen. I said to him why would a person or persons want to die and go to hell with satan? Why would so many think that is a good thing? My only answer is that when you delve in satan worship then these men and women in office who control the world are demon possessed. Because it is beyond me why anyone would think going to hell and suffering for ETERNITY would be a good thing. The only thing i can say is that unless these people change their evil ways, even if they win, but they wont THEY will get theirs in the end, because i dont know i wouldnt want to suffer forever and ever. If Jesus didn’t die on the cross, according to the Bible, then God couldn’t “save” you. I think even Jesus was a little surpised to find himself hanging on a cross, after all he asked “”My God, my God, why have you deserted me?” (Mark 15:34). If everything that Jesus said was “The Word of God,” then it must be true that Jesus was abandoned (foresaken) by God. How come I know more about the Bible than most Christians? I agree with Jack McLamb (GCNlive.com) that the Christian Seminaries were taken over by Zionists in the early 20th century and that is why we get many of the false teachings, unconditional support for the political state of Israel, the Scofield Bible, and the unconditional support of government along with their 501(c)(3) tax free income for churches compromise. Most of these these “ordained” pastors/priests/preachers know what they are doing and will pay with all liars and hypocrites.
If the Bible is taken in context of when and where it was written, it is far more helpful. I don’t use Paul’s teachings, because some of his words are contradictory to the rest of scripture and may have been tampered with. I agree there is something odd about his writing and his pride with being a Roman citizen, and understand why people are confused.
As far as Jesus going to his death without a fight, He did tell his disciples arm themselves with swords (at least Peter had one), and one of the guards that came to take Him (with Judas) had his ear cut off before He stopped the fight. I am not sure of the symbolism, but it shows that Jesus and his disciples would have fought if his arrest was not part of prophesy being fulfilled.

Don’t call me NWO scum because I do not agree with your methods…I come here and read the news/post etc…and do not comment unless someone is lying about something…I do not agree with a lot that is said here..however,,,I believe as did Jesus that Satan rules this world…for now… and agree or disagree I am against tyranny,,,my father went to prison because he refused to go to war….as the hippies say..”what would happen if they threw a war and no one showed up.” I will go to prison for my beliefs…can you say the same? You think it is easy to side against all of you and a government ruled by satan?
I have been preaching what is an unpopular message my whole life (from an early age…)…as did Jesus…and the pharisees did not like it either! Those Jews killed him! And the Jews were supposed to be God’s people!

I went to school with a boy whose dad set himself on fire at the Pentagon in 1967 to protest
the Vietnam War. His name was Morrison. I still remember. It is one of the oldest schools in

if you read the Bible especially at the end of it you will notice many false profits. Did Jesus
sit in a Big Ass Church with pretty suits and Music and the Big Show. NO Now its
all entertainment and who really cares. More than half the people ancestors worshiped

I don’t think one idiot pastor circulating a clunky xeroxed flier really counts as mind control.
Televangelist Rod Parsley said similar things about Bush during the 2000 election campaign. That he was ordained and anointed by God to lead the nation. And I think everyone’s seen Jesus Camp by now. Also, Christian Conservatives have vast news and media networks dedicated to reinforcing a popular connection between obeying God and voting Republican.
One rogue pastor is not mind control. A tax-free national TV or radio network with millions of dollars at its disposal and a militant political agenda…that’s a bit closer.

For all you bible haters and Christian bashers, I would suggest you consider that the book and the believers you’re trashing have been around a lot longer than any of you or The New World Order…and if it and we are right, the end result will be 1)a new heaven and earth and a Kingdom that will be forever, and 2)a lot of you and others doing the backstroke in a lake of fire until…well…forever. If that pisses you off, I would strongly suggest you reconsider your position.
While you’re at it, thank God you still have a moment of freedom to spew your hate, because it’s going fast, pal.

The flyer starts out with “Thank God for America!” Somthing tells me if Obama had NOT “won” he wouldn’t be so “thankful.” I am sure we’d hear the same sermon that came from Jeremiah Wright about how God needs to da*n America. Then the flyer goes on to say: “As a testament to the world of the amazing freedoms we are so blessed to enjoy..” But this man seems to have no problem with giving up those freedoms to the government. What a hypocrite.

So you disagree about God, so what? Does that make you smarter? No. Are there “dumb” believers? Yes. Are there “dumb” non-believers? Yes. In a sense, it’s like saying “Im republican, and all you dems are stupid” or “I’m an official 9/11 story lover, and all you truthers are idiots” So you disagree… Get over it.. and get over yourself. It’s not a big deal. It will all be settled in the end anyway. So lets all be adults here.

To have Government or Obama To get church to follow what the government says as support or law, then it’s time Government allows GOD back into schools,and allowing prayer to be practiced at public events. IF we allow them to make us listen to what there saying as TRUTHS, THEN WE AS CHRISTIANS HAVE FAILED!. Don’t think so, then just follow what there saying . They messed everything else up, don’t allow them to take control now of our religious Beliefs too! Wake up people, they have an agenda to fullfill. Don;t be part of there agenda’s. Be YOURSELVES!

I believe a lot of what a particular church teaches but try to stay open-minded about things.
I see folks that have stong standards against some things and whether I agree with them or not I am OK with those folks setting their own standards. What I am against is that these same folks will not refuse a job that sells those things that they are so against for a profit or pay-check. If a person is against somethinf[liquor or cigaretts] and is sincere about it then he would not even work for a company that sold those items.
Our Christian churches are full of modern day Pharisees!
Alot of Christians are not even aware of it but the bible teaches that one of the greatest sins one can committ is putting burdens or requirements on folks that Jesus himself did not explicitly prohibit. Keeping others down is the way many others see as a method to rise or climb to the top.
I have said enough already because the kind people that i am referring to are probably not ever going to read these posts or they are so full-of-self they would not even recognise themselves even if a photo was enclosed.
