Clarke: Bin Laden To Influence U.S. Election
Former counter-terrorism czar tells CNN terrorist attack or video tape will be “October surprise

Former counter-terrorism czar Richard Clarke told CNN yesterday that Osama Bin Laden would attempt to influence the 2008 U.S. election with a terrorist attack or the release of a video tape, an October surprise to replicate that of 2004 when Bin Laden swung the election for Bush.
“At the moment, as far as I can tell, the FBI, other intelligence agencies, do not have any credible information that would lead them to believe an attack might take place. Why are we asking this, though?” said Clarke.
“Because in 2004, bin Laden did try to influence the US election. Whether or not he succeeded, who knows? But he issued a video tape on Halloween, a few days before the election, that implied that he supported Senator Kerry.”
“He knew, that if he seemed to be supporting Senator Kerry, that would help President Bush. And it did.”
“So, we know he likes to try to influence elections,” said Clarke. “So, we can look forward to perhaps another video tape like that, or an attack. But an attack is a heck of a lot harder for them to stage than the easy job of putting out a video tape.”

The CNN panel highlighted the fact that federal law enforcement officials were less worried about an Al-Qaeda attack than they were about a “lone wolf” American because “50 per cent of the country was going to be pissed off on election day either way”.
Host Rick Sanchez read from an alleged Al-Qaeda affiliated website which stated that if an attack took place, it would be in support of McCain.
Both John Kerry and George W. Bush attributed Bush’s 2004 success to a video tape featuring Bin Laden that was released days before voters went to the polls. Veteran news broadcaster Walter Cronkite called the tape a Karl Rove-orchestrated set up.
As we wrote on the eve of the vote four years ago, “Bush’s poll numbers have been significantly boosted and this will be enough to win him re-election.”
Bin Laden’s chastisement of Bush resulted in a 6 point swing, enabling Bush to seal a second term in office.
Who will the finger of suspicion point to should we witness the emergence of yet another dubious Bin Laden tape or a catastrophic event linked with Al-Qaeda?
Consider the comments of one of McCain’s top advisors, Charlie Black, who in June said that a terror attack on American soil would be a “big advantage” to McCain’s election hopes. Black added that last December’s assassination of Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had helped McCain to win the New Hampshire primary, a state he had to win to save his candidacy.
The “chatter” surrounding the probable entrance of Bin Laden or Al-Qaeda to impact the election is widespread.
According to a New York Sun report, in August America’s military and intelligence agencies intercepted messages indicating that “Al-Qaeda” was planning to launch operations to coincide with the November election.
Earlier this month, the L.A. Times speculated that the recent incursions into Pakistan are aimed at capturing Bin Laden before Bush leaves office.
The report coincided with pulitzer prize winning journalist Bob Woodward’s admission to CNN’s Larry King that the U.S. had devised a new secret weapon in the war on terror. “We’ll see – maybe they can use it on Bin Laden and all of a sudden the September or October surprise is gonna be the apprehension or the death of Bin Laden,” Woodward said.
The fact that the media is hyping the inevitability of an “October surprise” should be cause for concern, especially when allied to reports of police departments across the country “preparing for possible civil unrest and riots” in the aftermath of the election.

There was no swing in points for Bush in 2004. The exit polls on Election Day had Kerry up by a large margin. The next day when we all woke we found that nothing changed and G.W. was still our Commander in Thief. We use exit polls when we monitor another countrys election for fairness. If they were as far off as ours were in 2004 we’d be screaming that someone was cheating. I remember seeing stories about vote fraud and voter disenfranchisement in 2004 but then they quickly disappeared and nobody followed up on anything. This country’s media has grown lazy and apathetic. They spew out what gets fed to them by the government and the corporations and that’s about it.

Check your facts – Bush was ahead in the polls before the election. Sorry if it doesn’t fit the theory but it’s all there on the internet if you want to research it – look at the poll results in the week before Bin Laden’s announcement and after. The key phrase in the coverage of that election night was “too close to call” – over and over and over again. In the end there was a fairly slim margin commensurate with the polling before the election.

Everyone should look at the article about hypnosis and mind control on infowars.com and study this research thoroughly. This is exactly what I have been dealing with on a daily basis. A few things popped out at me like mob hypnosis and war hypnosis turning civilized men into criminals. Being conditioned to verbal or other symbols with mental triggers creating a mental slave.This is also used in psychological warfare and black ops to create and control mind control victims and cults.These techniques are very dangerous in the wrong hands and the public should be aware they are being used on them. I have been aware of these techniques for several years. They have been used to covertly control and manipulate my behaviour. They have been used to try and coerce and force false confessions. They have been used to try and make me act violent or crazy. This is done openly and is easily deniable making it hard for victims to come forth. The article was right to recongnize this type of behaviour as illegal and giving specific court case examples stating “Hypnosis-type mental pressure has been held by the Supreme Court of the United States to be so unduly influential as to deprive someone of their fundamental rights.” I think the bigger story is that someone has attempted to frame myself and is now engaged in a massive coverup attempt. I am followed and harrassed everywhere I go. They are using psychological torture and recreating trauma to control and fragment my mind. This is well known by many and anyone who will not participate or tries to help me is also targeted. I was told by one man that he had to or “they would get me”. I have travelled to canada because they offer refuge protection to peoples who fear persecution or whose removal from Canada would subject them to a danger of torture, a risk to their life or a risk of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment. I was refused and told I needed to contact my local police. How do you contact the police and report corruption? These same people were openly taunting me in canada! I am an employee with the American Red Cross and they recently declared the United States as criminal and guilty of war crimes. The Red Cross is well known for being an advocate and defending human rights worldwide. I am now having the same problems by people who have been recruited or infiltrated positions that would get them close to me so that they might try and get me fired. If this type of illegal persecution and oppression can openly go unchecked and unchallenged it will only grow like a parasite on society and none of us will be safe until it is. Please don’t ignore or disregard this information. There is a covert secret war in the dallas ft worth area where many people are being persecuted and oppressed.

I said exit polls. The exit polls had Kerry up by 2 – 3% on election day. I said large margin and large was probably the wrong word. When the results were finally revealed Bush had won the Presidential Election by 2.5%. That’s quite a big swing from the polls.

911 Truth is not a conspiracy. It’s a fact that 911 was an inside job. The evidence is overwhelming. Since 911 was an Inside Job, it’s obvious that Al CIA Da is a government sponsored terrorist organization and OBL is their boogie man used to invade Arab countries to steal OIL. I dont think i know anyone that still buys the old ‘brown bogey men that live in caves’ routine. I think watching all this crap unfold in the papers and on tv is like watching a really crap episode of a really lame soap like ‘home and away’ or something.
