Global warming alarmists, who have routinely dismissed evidence that the Sun is the main driver of climate change, are now calling to block out the celestial body that supports all life on Earth in a set of bizarre new proposals to “geo-engineer” the planet.
One idea being promoted is a madcap plan to send a fleet of shiny spaceships to form a physical cloud between the Sun and the Earth, covering half the diameter of the entire planet.
“Political inaction on global warming has become so dire that nations must now consider extreme technical solutions – such as blocking out the sun – to address catastrophic temperature rises, scientists from around the world warn today,” reports the Guardian.

The fact that sunspot activity and solar radiation have driven natural climate change throughout history is routinely dismissed by man-made global warming advocates who insist that human produced CO2 is to blame for global temperature increases, despite the fact that no global warming has been observed for the past 10 years and strong evidence suggests the planet is now embarking on a significant cooling trend. In addition, it was recently revealed that Arctic ice has actually grown by around 30 per cent in the year since August 2007.
Indeed, the month of August passed without a single visible sunspot being observed, a milestone that heralds a potentially devastating and rapid course of global cooling.
But now top university heads and professors are pushing to “geo-engineer” the planet and even block out the sun to prevent what they claim will be a global temperature increase of 4C.
Methods being discussed include a plan to “Insert “scatterers” into the stratosphere….deploy jumbo jets into the upper atmosphere and deposit clouds of tiny particles there, such as sulphur dioxide. Dispersing around 1m tonnes of sulphur dioxide per year across 10m square kilometres of the atmosphere would be enough to reflect away sufficient amounts of sunlight.”
The fact that sulphur dioxide is an an acid-rain causing pollutant that will literally change the color of our serene blue skies doesn’t seem to be a concern for these alleged “environmentalists”.
And if you think Australian professor Tim Flannery’s idea to cut down pristine beautiful old growth forests was hare-brained then listen to this – an even more bizarre proposal is to use a mass fleet of shiny spaceships to sit between the Earth and the Sun, forming a physical cloud and reflecting away sunlight.
“Scientists have suggested launching a constellation of free-flying craft that would sit between the Sun and Earth forming a cylindrical cloud around half the Earth’s diameter and 10 times longer,” reports the Guardian. “Approximately 10% of the sunlight passing through the 60,000 mile length of the cloud, pointing lengthwise between the Earth and the Sun would be diverted away from the Earth, which would uniformly reduce sunlight over the planet by approximately 2%,” writes Stephen Schneider of Stanford University. The cost would be a dazzling $100bn (£55.5bn) a year.”
No it’s not April 1st, this is not a joke. Scientists at top universities are actually proposing that spaceships be sent up into the atmosphere to sit over half of the planet and block out the Sun! Your tax dollars actually fund the research grants that finance this nonsense!
Furthermore, if the Sun has little or nothing to do with global warming as we are constantly told by climate change alarmists, then why the necessity to block it out? You can’t have your cake and eat it.
The upshot of these ludicrous and laughable proposals will be a further erosion of the credibility of climate change alarmists who are becoming increasingly shrill in their dire proclamations amidst general public apathy and hostility to accept extreme measures to fight a problem that is still highly dubious at best.
In absurdly calling for spaceships to be sent up to sit over half of the Earth’s diameter, people like Stephen Schneider are only ensuring that man-made global warming alarmists shred any credibility they have left and lose the debate that they claim is already over.

As far as this paragraph from the article states, the programme is already underway. Here in Madrid, Spain we have chemtrail ladened white skies almost everyday.

Lol!!! I needed a good laugh! I’ve heard that the truth is stranger than fiction, but the truth is people listen to these idiots and their ludicrous ideas. I live in the great state of West Virginia, this year we have had maybe three weeks of summer and that’s it! Global warming, come on folks get with it, it’s global cooling if everyone else is experiencing the same thing that we are!

The earth is already entering an Ice Age and the world’s oil supply will completely run out well within this Century. Within our lifetimes the capability to fuel jet airplanes and to launch satellites will disappear.

To know that aliens exist, all you have to do is look into the massive evidence of them being on the moon. Look into the fact that our astronauts have been brain washed and can’t even remember significant parts of the biggest event in their lives. See how many of the photos have been altered, air brushed, and repressed. Look into the studies of lunar lights and shadows that have been witnessed since the 1500’s by astronomers, which provoked a government study of the phenomena before sending the first lunar lander. Learn about the live audio of astronauts describing large “alien ships” in craters over secret secondary radio frequencies. And of course, look into Richard Hoagland’s discovery of giant glass structures discovered on the moon in NASA’s own photographs. The list really goes on and on… Why do you think we never went back?

One has to sit in awe… Hey, hundreds of people drown in lakes and oceans every year, not to mention all the scary sharks and other man-eating creatures that bodies of water can possibly house. Large Hadron Colliders don’t frighten me. It seems like a noble scientific endeavor, but shooting up satellites to block out the sun? Doesn’t this have a distinctly cheesy Bond-villain flavor to it? @ Gabriel. What about all the moon rocks and soil samples brought back from the moon and the fact that all the moon conspiracies have been long disproven? The fact reflectors were placed on the moon which reflect laser beams back to earth is another piece of proof that we landed on the moon.

Well… This isntshowking to me at all after what they are planing to do with the internet as well. The people in suites are planing to take over the world. So in around a month or two we wont be able to have any free speach cuz if we plot against the goverment at all they can arest us. However there is much more of us then there are of them.
Plus I know this is going to sound crazy but those aliens up there arnt gonna get anything out of are planet if they dont do somthing. Im thinking there gonna step in around 2012.

They obviously missed the article released today citing that the sun has been spotless for a month, which is the first time this phenomena has occurred this century. This decrease in activity may indicate the start of a drastic cooling trend, similar to that which caued the past Ice Ages. Okay, you’re all missing the point of why these engineers are proposing these ideas for blocking the sun, including last years proposal to put trillions of tiny mirrors in the upper atmosphere to reflect sun back out into space.
Fact: There already is a large scale operation to reflect 20% of all sunlight hitting Earth. The proof is the lines in the sky that all of us see overtly being sprayed over our heads. And if you don’t see them being sprayed overhead, they are being sprayed over the horizon and what looks like hazy, high clouds drift in.
The phenomonen that I’m describing is a massive multi-billon dollar aerosol spraying operation more popularly known as “Chemtrails”, Not to be confused with contrails.
More Facts: The program was first proposed in 1975 by the “father of the H bomb”, Edwin Teller. He proposed an aluminum particulate shield to reflect sunlight out to space. Shortly after this the US Navy took out a patent for it and a year or so later Northrup produced the apparatus for aerosol application. In the early to mid 80’s they experimented over the sky’s mostly of the West and SW of the U.S. There was also some testing in the 90’s, with most areas experiencing regular spraying going on by ‘98 to 2000 period. The operation has been in full swing since they have subsequently added even more tankers and jets to their fleet. The operation is running in most parts of the world, including over the Arctic.
The ridiculous ideas these scientists and engineers are calling for in blocking out the sun is simply government disinformation to get the public used to the idea that something has to be done, while not telling us that there is already an operation spewing dangerous chemicals containing aluminum, Barium and other toxic substances into our upper atmosphere. And of course what goes up must come down. Who knows what sinister reasons besides the “Global warming” mantra that will be pulled out if and when “They” decide to disclose their activities thus far.
Thesse guys are playing God with our sky’s. If your head’s been in the sand these last 10 years and you don’t know what Chemtrails are, go to Youtube and you’ll see the video there that your subconscious mind has already seen and registered with.

Well, its clear that reducing the sun’s influence will lower earth temperature. Forget the reason why our planet is warming – which it dangerously is – and look for solutions to fix the problem. These scientists are trying to fix it, which is more than you are doing Paul. Your science, your point of view is flawed. Let greater minds suggest solutions, for they have the knowledge and hopefully the wisdom to help us all.

The fact that they are talking about blocking out the sun means that they are already doing it. There is grave danger in what they are doing. First of all the sun is fed Hydrogen and dust from the outside of the solar system as it is a piezoelectric body. When you cut off the hydrogen and dust that feeds the sun you are effectively cutting off it’s energy source and it will in fact die the same way as cutting off the fuel to the engine of your car. This would result in all the planets of the solar system falling into the sun and the end of our whole solar system and all life on this planet.
Cutting off the sun’s rays from hitting the earth will also have dramatic effects on earth as it will change the resonant frequency of the planet and affect all the dna of all life forms on earth.
Both scenarios will upset the delicate acoustical balance of the earth and the whole solar system and will end all life on earth.
The moral of all this is don’t mess with the sun. Just thinking about it is complete madness.
Our sun is going through a natural acoustic cycle that originates from the center of the galaxy and our Shumann resonance will increase to 12.98 hertz in the next few years. We are compressing acoustically to a new frequency that will naturally change the dna structure of all life on earth. Messing with this natural cycle will cause the planet to be ejected or moved out of it’s natural orbit and will end all life on earth. The earth will grow and gain mass as it compresses and denying the earth from growing is like cutting off the roots of a plant.( we are speeding up and compressing so it is natural that the earth will gain mass)

To clarify this academic jargon, the Pinatubo eruption was unique because a Typhoon intercepted the Island of Luzon in the Philippines as the volcano was erupting. The result was the creation of a huge amount of sulphur dioxide which was ejected into the upper atmosphere and circled the Earth in days.
“In the troposphere, volcanic aerosols reflect solar radiation and cool the Earth’s surface, decreasing temperature differences between the equator and the North Pole in the bottom atmospheric layer.”
This explains why the Bush administration was able to deny climate change existed for so long, a lot to do with the difference between ’surface’ and ‘air’ temperature readings, which was used to clown about with the data.

This blocking of the sun is already happening. Where did I read about it? Nowhere, I simply observe the skies on a daily basis, ahhh wahlah, upon observing, I regularly see chemtrails being (purposefully) placed directly in front of the direct sun. Look up guys, look around. Perhaps, since the insistance from alarmist that pollution, not the sun, is the culprit for global warming (which makes the most logical sense), yet the earth shows to be cooling (the opposite affect), there is an explanation. My question in contemplation of the answer ~ Is the cooling occurring because sun blocking is already being tried? Hello, covert stuff. I have also observed crystal like particles “raining” onto my windshield on days when there are lots of chemtrails present. Perhaps the threat to some giant corporations (like oil, electricity) fear solar power will cut them out of their spots on top of the corporate profits pile. How can we use one of the most reasonably sane, natural and renewable enery sources, if it is being blocked? This blocking is a baaaad idea for the future of naturally, healthily, sanely sustaining existence and also one with ulterior motives.

Are they blocking out the sun with chemtrails, or are they creating a medium to facilitate HAARP? Or both maybe…
I have been noticing that when they spray, it tends to rain, and when they don’t spray, it tends to be hotter. One other interesting observation, is that it tends to be cooler than it should be at night.
Also, the rainbow colored clouds seem to show up wherever they have sprayed, which proves the metallic nature of the elements they are putting in the atmosphere.
Oh and anyone else notice the growing trend surrounding “Organic Foods”? I wonder if they are poisoning the organic food, targeting specific mindsets that are contrary to the mindset they need in order to keep this illusion alive?????

Would You trade your health, happiness and security for wealth? most of you say no but you actually are. Most people live in big cities because for one reason. They can make more money due to larger economies and better jobs. I dont know what else it could be? Unless some people would rather live in crowded polluted, crime rampat areas. I live in a mall town in oregon and have never witnessed a chem trail, never seen smog and its not too often i read about any major crimes in the newspaper. Im would never think of moving to a city just to make more money. what good is money if your not happy, and trust me you cannot purchase happiness. These major cities are just where the global elites want you to be. You are more easily controlled in major population centers.
I think a major blow to the global elites would be for people to move out of there Concentrations where they consistenly douse your home and fammily with unknown chemicals and a fake wealth.
When the shit hits the fan the last place your going to want to be is a city. Citys are just fenced off pastures for the sheep to be watched and herded, and eventually butured. I would rather take my chances in the woods where i can fend for myself away from the watchfull eye of the globalists.
Soon moving out of cities will not be an option. The SS are already working hard at securing the gates of the cities and turning all of rural America into “protected reserves” backed by the environmentalists who like to trick the non elites “sheep”
The point im trying to make is put down the fake wealth and look at the big picture and get out of the cities while you still can. When the swift hand of the globalists comes down, the true american patriots are going to need everyone we can get to fight off the NWO. Say bye bye to chem trails, crime, pollution, crowding, and the watchfull eye of neocons and say hello fresh air, blue skies and a chance against the NWO.

this is a response to the pprevious comment on city living. I totally agree with everything you said. But, 1 question, why does everyone want to save the stupid people so much. If a person is uneducated, selfish, unaware of world problems, unable to understand, really unable to think. Why do you want to save them. I look at the world and see. A world that is deserving of it’s fate. Until we fix our own problems we don’t deserve to live.
I preach day in and day out about the problems of the world and 1 in every 10 listens. I know the elite are mostly aware of the problems. It’s the noecon religous freaks that I’m worried about they wan to end the world not reshape it. They think if we fuck things up enough god will come back. But sadly if we fuck things up enough nothing will come back. or survive. I only hope some disease takes care of us all before the world is irreparably damaged.

An environmental crisis was planned back in the 50/’60s to create a panic in the sheeple to cause them to cry out for a Communist/Corporate Fascist New World Order to “save them.” This was only one aspect of the diabolical plans this think tank came up with.
