‘Climategate’ shakes trust in scientists: Saudi

COPENHAGEN — Saudia Arabia told global warming talks on Monday that trust in climate science had been “shaken” by leaked emails among experts and called for an international probe.
“The level of trust is definitely shaken, especially now that we are about to conclude an agreement that … is going to mean sacrifices for our economies,” said Mohammed al-Sabban, the kingdom’s top climate negotiator, told delegates at the opening of December 7-18 UN talks.

Al-Sabban called for an “independent” international investigation, but said that the UN climate science body was unqualified to carry it out.
“The IPCC, which is the authority accused, is not going to be able to conduct the investigation,” he said, referring to the Nobel-winning UN Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC).

Knew the Saudis would try and use climategate to their advantage. If these carbon taxes come in their whole economy is going tits up. Russia being one of the largest natural gas exporters as well had a big incentive to get the climategate data out into the public sphere so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Russian hackers who did it. Over 90% of all hacks come from Russia or China.

You can say 90% are claimed to come from Russia or China, but without verification or proof… You have nothing. Almost none of the accusations and allegations have been proven 100% fact.

It really doesnt matter WHO is calling for an investigation, there needs to be one either way. And yes those most effected by the changes and/or taxes will be the ones who initially start to scream, but we should ALL be calling for an investigation.
And we deserve a better one than we got with 9/11, thats all I can say.

The CBC just re-aired Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth documentary again so it looks like the info-war is going into high gear. It is all so hilarious when considering the fact that the same network has finally reported on the climategate scandal. This is like how the Discovery Channel will often have shows DEMONSTRATING “a conspiracy” for the 1995 OKC bombing then turn around & air a program aimed at “debunking” the very thing an earlier [ & different ] program had admitted to. This must be part of an elite campaign to cause confusion.
