Houston congressman Gene Green has demanded that the House Armed Services Committee hold hearings after it was revealed that an army recruiter has been lying to and threatening high school students to get them to enlist.
KHOU 11 News in Houston broke the story last week, revealing that students who signed up to a non-binding military “delayed entry program” were told by recruiter, Sgt. Glenn Marquette that they were bound under federal law to stick to the agreement and could be arrested and jailed as deserters if they did not follow through and enlist.

That’s not a good thing.
But again somebody needs to do a better job of reporting. The last I knew A SGT is a non-commissioned officier, an enlisted soldier. Non-coms do not hold postions such as Station Commander, that would be an officier, or a soldier granted a commission.

Lets get real. The military is desperate for troops due to Bushes goal to conquer the world to serve there corporate masters. That way the corporations can make more money off the blood of our soldiers and the victims(the countries they attack).

actually a first sgt is the sgt in charge of that particular army recruiting station. but usually a commander or lt commander is the one head of all of the armed services under the main recruiting station. needless to say. if you sign up under delayed entry and then dont want to do it anymore. you dont have to. they cant charge someone whose not a member of the military with desertion. I just got a good laugh go onto armystudyguide.com they have an area where you can type in your mos and see what civilian job your mos would translate to. if you type in an 11b which is an infantryman. and click search. it will give you a list of colleges to attend to learn how to actually do something lolllllllllllllllll. so kids do yourself a favor and dont join the military.
