Cost Of Bailout Hits A Whopping $24 Trillion Dollars

According to the watchdog overseeing the federal government’s financial bailout program, the full exposure since 2007 amounts to a whopping $23.7 trillion dollars, or $80,000 for every American citizen.
The last time we were able to get a measure of the total cost of the bailout, it stood at around $8.5 trillion dollars. Eight months down the line and that figure has almost tripled.
The $23.7 trillion figure comprises “about 50 initiatives and programs set up by the Bush and Obama administrations as well as by the Federal Reserve,” according to the Associated Press.
In testimony which will be delivered to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee tomorrow, Neil Barofsky, the inspector general for the TARP, will tell Congress that “the Treasury Department has repeatedly failed to adopt recommendations aimed at making the TARP program more accountable and transparent.”
According to Barofsky, taxpayers are in the dark as to who has received the money and what they are doing with it.
As we have repeatedly highlighted, the destination of some $2 trillion in TARP funds was the subject of a lawsuit filed by Bloomberg late last year after the Fed refused to disclose the recipients. The suit is still ongoing as Bloomberg attempts to discover names of private financial institutions that received the money.

The American people will ultimately pick up the tab as their dollar is devalued because the Fed lends the money from its own balance sheet or essentially just prints more money, as a San Francisco Chronicle article explained last year.
Wages will not keep pace with inflation and if we add to the equation the raft of new taxes being introduced by the Obama administration, the consequences are clear – another lowering of the living standard for millions of middle class Americans.
Meanwhile, Henry Paulson, one of the chief architects of the bailout and the man who committed financial terrorism by threatening the Congress with martial law and food riots if they didn’t pass the initial TARP package, brazenly pockets $200 million in Goldman Sachs profits tax free while handing out billions in ill-gotten gains to his bankster buddies, all this after he pulled a bait and switch by changing the entire focus of the bailout from buying up toxic debt to giving money directly to financial institutions.
We dread to think what the bailout figure will be in another eight months. Will it triple again to $70 trillion dollars? How about $100 trillion dollars?
The only thing that can bring an end to the wanton looting is Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Fed, which has received overwhelming support in the House but is being blocked by the bought and paid for traitors in the Senate who would rather see a continuation of the grand larceny rather than real accountability and transparency.

You know, when I got out after ten years in service, those fuckheads tried to tell me I had to register for the draft. Like I was going to do that shit. Hell, the first thing I did was throw away my fucking Class As. The country as we know it is fried, but that is okay with me. We’ve been shit for years, and this might be just what we need for the majority of us to just wake the fuck up and realize we are all slaves. I think more of the younger people know than those over 40, but hell most of us know the government is full of shit on every level. My mother is nearly 70, and she has no problem believing this government is wrong as hell. She still runs her own business, and everyday some government piece of shit calls her up to let her know she could have some loan/grant from them. She always says no because she doesn’t want them to ever get their fucking greedy little claws in her business. Does anyone trust the government anymore? Almost no one that I know does. Some of the fundamental christians seem to have a hard time believing in it, but they always reply, if they do see something, that Jesus will take care of them. The significance of this debt is it shows how IRRESPONSIBLE our politicians have been. In this respect, it should compel all Americans to remove this irresponsible, totalitarian government.
Removing this government is the solution because it will avoid the bankrupting of the U.S.A. If our economy is collapsed we’ll be readied for communism and the excuse for using communism under a one world government will be to restore order socially and financially.

With China ascending to he forefront, the new world currency will be initiated. The so called “war on terror” will continue as military police actions throughout the global plantation, crushing slave rebellions in regions that resist the NWO. Well you are sadly mistaken if you somehow don’t think that we are responsible for what the government is spending. In the end, the tax payers, mostly the middle class will once again be taking it up the ass from the government.
Who do you think pays for this 23.4 trillion dollar loan? We do. The tax paying citizens. Wait until your taxes go up. Oh YEAH, they’ll give you a tax cut on what you make in a year but, they are passing all kinds of new taxes. It’s fucking worse than when we were under British Rule.
Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin and Samuel Adams must be rolling over in their graves. It’s time for another wave of patriots to rise up and once again free our great nation from the tyranny within.

The thing is, we’re still getting these loans and we’re broke. Why? Look at the massive loses from US businesses. They won’t being paying taxes on neg. income. Look at the middle class, who are getting laid off in droves, will the money come from them? How about the Obama supporters? Are they sending in their checks to help support this new debt? The collateral for this debt has been us wage slaves, and US government lands. The land and waters are what they are after, and soon this country will no longer be ours. Check out what happened to Brazil. They no longer own the Amazon rain forest. They could not pay their debt, so the banks took the collateral. All they need in place are politicians willing to spend us into oblivion. Of these there is no short supply.

Just for the record the AP article says the current amount is $4.7 trillion. The $24 trillion figure is the worst case scenario for future spending.

For all you who doubt 24 trillion is the cost of the entire bailout, it’s true. I saw it on my AOL news headlines, it’s not just on Alex’s site.
I watched that billionaire Soros say the following: “First you create a crises. Then to correct the crises you must raise taxes. Once that’s done you start to eliminate the public programs because it gives you an excuse to do it.”
In programs I guess he means welfare, food stamps, government health programs, social security….yikes! Let’s all just watch what California does on their budget shortfall. Let’s see what’s cut and what emergencies they declare….because our government will probably follow suit. Heck they can do one thing CA can’t and that’s start a new war.

This is already out of control.
This is a corporate/financial hostile takeover.
The UK and the U.S are runned and operated under corporate law.
The U.S and the UK are in effect corporations.
Everyone who is a US or UK citzen by birth or later naturalised is registered as a UK /US citzen.You have a social security number and a UK/US birth certificate and a legal title :Mr.John Smith for example.
The birth certificate and registration forms a legal contract that binds you to a contract that is subject to the conditions laid out by UK and US company law.
Legislation or bills passed by parliament or congress is *not* law.
Law is common law and constitutional law like the second amendment for example.
Non-payment of tax for example is a breach of contract of U/K/US legislation.
Payment of income tax in the US is unconstitutional and unlawful
That legal title is a fiction Mr.John Smith] and does not exist.
We have all been entered into a contract with the UK and US and are all subject to its terms and conditions.
Legislation and bills are totally different to law.NOT the same thing.
John of the smith family is anon legal title for example.
Its way too late to explain all this clearly and concisely now but i will add more in a day or so as i probably havent explained it all that well.I will also provide links that will explain the legalities better than i can.
If you want to stick it to the govt and not pay taxes for their bailout scam then this is the way forward and it has been tried and tested here in the UK as we have been working on this for the last year or 2 and it does work and it true and accurate.
You have to destroy or nullify or cancel the contract between yourself and the UK/US govt and its legislature..
It can be done and its easy and if you all do this en masse the system will be unable to cope and will collapse under the sheer weight of numbers and i have done it myself on my own before when i declined to answer a request to appear in court.
Wesley Snipes for example lost his court case with the IRS for non payment of taxes because he was fighting the case using constitutional law instead of corporate law.
You have to understand and be very clear that their are 2 completely different “laws” at work in the UK/US that being Legislation and Law.
Its known as lawful rebellion which you all know about because you all know about the US constitution.Refuse to comply with any law,legislation/statute that has been put in place by unlawful govt that opposes constitutional safeguards.They have no Juristiction or authority to override the law or constitution of the land.

You are right about the law, but do you want to spend your life fighting it out in courts, their courts? The government gets what it wants, and will track you down from your Himalayan hideout to extract its pound of flesh. What hurts the government and the IRS the most is Joe Sixpack, who works construction or small jobs for cash, and pockets the money. How much income tax do the street vending drug dealers pay? Perhaps Pres. Obama will look at assigning them employer I.D.s.

I’m an old ‘Mystery Science Theater’ fan, so anytime someone mentions a classic sci-fi or horror film (The Omega Man) I spring into action. But yeah, these boards on prisonplanet can be dreary places at times. Occasionally I spot one that cracks me up too
Someone mentioned ‘Phase IV’ (1974) a couple of weeks ago, the film with intelligent ants and mad scientists at war with each other as analogous to the circular way our human societies functions, but I couldn’t think up any good one-liners. All that came to mind was that lame ‘What did the Pink Panther say when he stepped on an ant?’ joke. Great movie, though.
