"Just a reminder. Any and all “idiots” with Ph.D.’s who would like to add yourself to the growing list of non-paid scientists opposing the statistical pseudo-science of global warming politics, please visit this website."

Just a reminder, anyone who thinks that petition is anything but a TOTAL LOAD OF BULLSHIT, should read my last post on the following thread:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/human-race-faces-oblivion-from-global-warming-says-un-chief.html

A teaser:

"Secondly, and MOST importantly, the creators of this petition LIED to the people it sent the petition to. The creators made a PHONY study that had never been peer reviewed and was laid out to fool the reader into thinking it had. They also sent a Wall Street Journal op-ed article (an elite mouthpiece if there ever was one).

THEN they asked them to sign. So people who had NO KNOWLEDGE of climate science were LIED TO about what climate science said, and then asked to sign a petition saying that AGW was a lie. What the liars did was to make a phony study, then format it as if it was published by the NAS. The NAS had to put out a press release saying:"

----

@Paulson is an idiot 2

"BTW, the “elites” get their money from BANKING(!!!), not from oil."

Are you kidding? Banks create phony money that the elites use to screw us over - REAL wealth comes from RESOURCES! Try running your car on dollar bills!

"Comparing the amount of money in the financial sector with the amount of money in the “oil” sector, is like comparing the ocean with a glass of salt water. Comparing “oil tycoons” with “banking tycoons” is like comparing a homeless man with Bill Gates."

Doesn't Alex Jones constantly tell us that the "value" of money is ZERO? That the elites can raise and lower its "value" at will? Do you think THAT is where wealth comes from? Hell no. That is just the mechanism they use to take the wealth from OUR resource (labour). Their REAL wealth comes from oil and gas, and coal, and diamonds and land and so on and so on.

Money is an illusion - wealth is in resources, whether it be commodities or land or labour. Go find all those rich bankers, and see how much CASH they have in a BANK, and then see how much wealth they have "invested" in resources like oil.

"There are quadrillions(!!!) of dollars in the financial sector. They are not concerned with some laughable oil profits. Most of the financial sector’s money is hidden away in unregulated off-shore markets, such as the Cayman Islands."

Really? The people who for example cut the REAL VALUE of a dollar in half at whim, put their wealth in DOLLARS? Really? Aren't THEY fucking stupid then! Quadrillions of phony dollars means nothing when you can halve the purchasing power of those dollars by fiddling with interest rates etc.

Why the hell are all the anti-financial manipulation people telling us to buy commodities like gold instead of just putting all our money in a bank then? If YOU do THAT, then you really ARE a sucker!

"Perhaps having an “alive-brain” prevents you from understanding this."

Or perhaps not being an idiot prevents it? I'm going to go with my theory! Money means nothing without the real world resources it can buy. You could be a superduperquadritrillionaire, but if you can't buy anything with all that money, what is the point? What is the golden rule? It sure isn't about MONEY!

"There are also thousands upon thousands of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), foundations, and non-profits which hide even more of the “elites” loot."

Maybe so, but as I said, money is worthless without the resources.

"Suffice to say, the “elites” are NOT oil tycoons, and although they DO own many of the oil companies, they are not shaking in their boots about their oil companies loosing profits."

Are you crazy? First you totally contradict yourself! How can you own the oil companies and NOT be an oil tycoon? Are you retarded? Second, without the oil, the whole world grinds to a halt. All that cash means nothing compared to that.

I sure don't see countries going to war over bank balances! Nope, it's the resources they are after!

"To be honest, I don’t even think they think in terms of money."

What the fuck? Now you are changing your argument to the complete opposite! First you say it's all about the money, then you say it's NOT about the money! Maybe you ARE retarded!

"They can buy and/or have anything they want at any time."

You mean resources? Well, they wish, but sometimes another member of the elite already has it, so they have to make us kill each other to steal it from them.

"They simply think in terms of “what can I DO?” “Can I control this region?” “Are my banks in that other region?”"

Well, with cash, nothing, no, and who cares? It's the resources that allow you to control things. Piss me off? Walk to work! I'm feeling a bit mean? Freeze in winter! Just for the hell of it, go without electricity!

Cash means nothing, or have you never heard of hyperinflation? The resources of the world are where the wealth comes from, the rest is just window dressing.

"The NUMBER ONE reason they have control is because they have all the peons thinking in terms of “how much money do I have?” While they are playing a completely different ballgame."

Well, no shit! YOU think in terms of MONEY, and they think in terms of WEALTH. Your money, and the whole banking system, are nothing without resources to buy with it. That's why you borrow money, and they buy (or steal) resources. You get a piece of paper, and they get the stuff that you have to give all that paper to them to get. Some deal!

Remember the 1973 oil crisis? Remember how it was about a massive increase in the price of a barrel of oil? Do you also remember how much that increase was in 1973 dollars? It went from under THREE DOLLARS a barrel to just over TWELVE DOLLARS a barrel. Calculated in 2007 dollars that is ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS a barrel.

In the intervening 34 years, the dollar dropped in value to less than 10% of it's 1973 purchasing power, and you really think the wealth is in MONEY? Dream on!

@Ben

"The reason this whole global “warming” palaver is IGNORED is because it is NOT based on solid empirical evidence, but on largely emotional tripe"

If you REALLY think the elites would give up a MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR income source for a small amount of tax money, you are worse than ignorant, you are fucking brain dead!

Think about it, what population in the WORLD would accept a 500% tax increase in 8 years? None! But most of us do nothing but moan when oil prices climbed 500% in 8 years, raising the price of EVERYTHING ELSE! We still kept buying! Why are idiots like you not demanding a "windfall profits" tax on corporations like ExxonMOBIL?

"Exxon, which owns about 78 per cent of Canada's oldest oil company, Imperial Oil Ltd., said profit in the second quarter climbed 14 per cent to $11.68 billion US. Exxon's net income was $2.22 US per share compared to $10.26 billion US, or $1.83 US per share last year. Excluding an after-tax charge of $290 million US related to an Exxon Valdez legal settlement, Exxon's second quarter earnings were a whopping $11.97 billion, or $2.27 a share.

The quarterly profit trumps Exxon's record of $11.66 billion set in the fourth quarter of 2007. The company's net earnings through the first half of the year were $22.57 billion, up 17 per cent from $19.54 billion after the first six months of 2007, reflecting higher crude oil and natural gas realizations."
http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=7a19a98d-7248-46ee-97b8-ed8d62e66edf

That is ONE company! Add up all the profits for ALL the oil companies etc, and all the related companies, and we are talking TRILLIONS in only a few years. Also note, that this profit is actually rather low, as they seem to have been able to write off a whole lot of expenses.

For example, for 2006 they had a gross income of $377.6 BILLION dollars, and reported profit of $39.5. ONE THIRD OF A TRILLION DOLLARS FOR ONE COMPANY FOR ONE YEAR, and that was based on oil prices of around $70 dollars per barrel, which is something like 30% lower than today's prices!

You really think a lousy Carbon Tax could replace an income source such as that? Think again! The only reason they are trying to put a Carbon Tax in is to recover any losses that may come from US giving them LESS of our money in the form of fuel purchases.

In fact I would bet you have paid more money to the elites in the last year due to higher oil prices than you will pay in all forms of tax. In fact I guarantee it!

"If you have ACTUAL evidence, we’d LOVE to see it. Otherwise, you have nothing but speculation."

Go through the Sci Tech archives and look for my name. Along with me making fun of idiots like you, you will also see the TONS of evidence I have posted that is easily available online. Or you could stop being an ignorant lazy fool and go look at the REAL evidence yourself.

Just to help you get started, try this:

The reason this whole global "warming" palaver is IGNORED is because it is NOT based on solid empirical evidence, but on largely emotional tripe put out by people whose only aim is to push the "carbon tax" on people who are burdened by the crushing weight of the taxes they already have. If you have ACTUAL evidence, we'd LOVE to see it. Otherwise, you have nothing but speculation.

I would also like to see a similar count of COLDEST days. I have been trying to find some long term data along those lines but no luck so far.

In any case, if such data was found, I wouldn't be surprised to find the number days where maximum temperature was coldest is less now. In other words there may not be as many high temp days, but there will also be less low temp days. Basically weather will be moderating, not getting hotter or colder at the extremes, but on average warmer.

I'll add any data that I find, regardless of whether that turns out to be true.

It's global - G-L-O-B-A-L - temperatures that are rising! Picking a spot on the planet and claiming the weather here hasn't altered much and therefore global warming is false is breathtakingly ill informed. We have 7 years left to put things right and the 180 years of science backing global warming still isn't enough for some! Tell me Alex in all honesty how many books have you read on global warming - and I mean the serious ones not the ones put out by oil companies.
