Republican Sen. James Inhofe (R-KN) once called global warming the “greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” Democrat Rick Boucher (D-VA) doesn’t agree — and supports reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent by 2050 — but he’s leading the charge to water down the first-ever legislation to control greenhouse gases.
A key moderate Democrat from coal country, Boucher solidified his resistance to Democrats’ massive carbon trade global warming bill after being ousted from his seat on an energy committee, according to a report Tuesday.
It’s unclear whether Boucher is leading resistance to the bill because of a personal snub. He lost his chairmanship on a key House Energy and Commerce Committee subcommitee when liberal Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) ousted Michigan Democrat John Dingell earlier this year. Dingell, a close ally of the auto industry, aimed to water down provisions in the bill tightening carbon emissions standards.

That likewise seems Boucher’s goal. The 14-term Democrat represents a coal-producing area in Virginia and favors a weaker carbon cap plan.
Noted the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call Tuesday, “Boucher has already forced the postponement of a subcommittee markup set for last week and compelled leaders of the panel to engage in closed-door negotiations throughout the weekend.”
“Both sides need to work toward the center, a consensus,” Boucher told the paper, urging that legislation address “sensitive issues along the way and not cause economic disruption.”
Boucher voted against the Kyoto Protocol in 2000, which would have set emissions targets for US businesses, and also opposed increasing fuel economy standards for automobiles in 2001. He did, however, support Democrats in their quest to bar oil drilling in Alaska’s National Wildlife Refuge.
Boucher was bumped from his position atop what was formerly called the Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee after Waxman wrestled the committee’s gavel from Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.).

Where did they come up with the term “greenhouse gasses” ? In a greenhouse, plants take in Co2 & emit O2. Just like the term “assault rifle”. Penned by mainstream media, & we bought it!!!! WE accept THEIR terminology. Mind control in action.

Here is one more verification of the 206-year Sun cycle as the REAL cause for global climate change and NOT man-made “global warming.” FYI, over 30,000 years of data derived from Earth core samples from all over the world, including from ocean bottoms, clearly identify this NATURAL 206-year Sun cycle. The temperature increases over the last 50 years are in direct agreement with the period of the current/ongoing Sun cycle. We are in the most rapid temperature increase portion of that cycle. Other data clearly shows that the higher CO2 levels recorded are a NATURAL RESULT of the temperature increase and NOT the CAUSE.

If rising incidence was linked to screenings, they reasoned, there would be a smaller increase for lower socioeconomic groups who have less access to such medical care. The researchers found that melanomas increased at a rate of 3.1% per year for ALL histological subtypes and thicknesses and that the incidence rates of melanoma doubled in ALL socioeconomic groups over a 10-year period. This suggests that the rising rates of melanoma are very real.”

Senator Imhoef once said that “Global warming is the biggest hoax ever perpertrated on the American people.” He got that wrong. The biggest hoax on the American people ever was when the Federal Reserve Act was enacted fraudulently into law in 1913. That was the day we lost the Republic to International Money Changers who worked to undermine the U.S. The second biggest hoax on the U.S. was the inside job that was 9/11 and then blamed on muslim patsy’s. Fortunently many people know it was a hoax.

I think we need to contact our legislators and pass two very important future laws to help fight Global Warming:
1. We need a bill to remove summer from the list of official seasons of the year so that its not as hot.
2. We need to make it illegal to breathe out so we don’t contribute Carbon Dioxide into the air.

For the past 20 years I believed global warming was caused by CO2. Now, after many months of research, I’m not so sure. It’s looking more and more to be a natural phenomenon to me. My interest in energy policy is so great I launched http://www.energyplanusa.com where I take a common sense look at global warming and energy policy. I’ve waded through the wellspring of global warming theory, the United Nation’s IPCC reports, and conclude they lack the ’smoking gun’ that proves global warming is man-made. Moreover, I’ve come to realize that man-made global warming theory cherry picks facts and ignores contradictory evidence from reliable studies.
I’m dismayed that my own party, the Democrats, the thinkers, have turned a scientific issue into religious zealotry where faith trumps facts. I’m also dismayed that the American press seems content with publishing hearsay, without backing up conclusions and presumptions with facts and evidence.
Before we effectively add more taxes to energy, I believe it’s imperative that the United States establishes a non-political, scientific commission to review all facts and evidence surrounding global warming. The stakes are huge. If we respond to global warming incorrectly, our children and grandchildren will likely lead lives of increasing hardship and desperation.
