I agree, Cosmic answers, someone is killing a lot of posts. I’ve left a few here and there and most of them, if not all, have been deleted. Kinda weird. I guess I’m just not doomsday and Jesussy enough for the rest of em. Yeeha! Most real patriots, anarchists and spiritually intune individuals have long since deleted their hard drives and are surfing proxy by now anyway. The rest of us are DOOMED by JEEEZUS….there. Let’s see if this one posts.

This article was one of many that I find interesting. I was on statins for 4 years and stopped taking them in June. My Dr. is not happy with me. On statins my cholesterol was 124 (too low) and without them it is 297. Dr. says I’m ripe for a heart attack. I’m have no other health issues, not overweight and eat very healthy and exercise. Said “I guess I will see you at the hospital.” I looked at the bar set for HDL on my March 08 test results, it was >40 and on the test I got today it was >45. My HDL was 41 today. They moved the bar so that I did not fall into the normal range. I’m sure they will continue to move the bars to get more and more people to take the drug. I will never take it again. If I have a heart attack it will be because I smoke. I wish more people had access to this information and could tell their Drs. NO NO NO!!!

The “risks” for high cholesterol were widely touted right after the pharma companies got their patents for statin drugs – Coincidence??? Moreover, a fair percentage of statin users develop muscle degeneration within 2 years, which can, and has, turned otherwise healthy people in their mid-life years, to cripples! (But the ads don’t tell you THAT!)

Does anyone else remember when a cholesterol count of 250 or under was considered “normal”? NOW the drug “powers that be,” and their cohorts at the AHA, want folks to shoot for “under 200″ – a RIDICULOUS number by normal standards! I personally know of four people who reported they “felt lousy” when taking statins – and threw their prescriptions in the trash.

Our bodies MAKE cholesterol for a reason! It comprises the fatty part of our cells, and helps to form the protective coverings of nerves and internal organs. Stressing the liver with poison of any kind is an invitation to major health problems!

Moreover, it has been shown that older people whose cholesterol production is normally (or abnormally) LOW, have a DECREASED RESISTANCE to infectious disesase. Couple that with the “recommended” annual flu shot, laden with poisonous mercury … and one starts hearing stories of active seniors who succumb to infection a few weeks after receiving this cocktail.

BTW, remember when margarine was touted as a “health food”? Corporate/pharm America is pulling another one over the eyes of the uninformed… at a HUGE profit.

Vitamins C and E are wonderful substances that work with our bodies’ NATURAL healing processes. But they can’t be “patented” – so there is no concerted effort to educate the “ask your doctor” crowd.
