What will it take? For Americans to openly revolt against the criminals posing as Statesmen?

The 251st MP Company is a Tennessee Army National Guard unit. So when they are under state control (not activated for a Federal mission), they DO have law enforcement authority. That way, a governor can use them to support the state police such as in a riot or a natural diaster. Louisiana Army National Guard MP Soldiers were agumenting the New Orleans Police Dept for months after Katrina.

So it sounds like the 251st MP Company is just trying to get some training. Calm down people.

And I will believe that Posse Comitatus is dead when a US Soldier (on Federal Status) arrests an American inside the US and it stands in court.

We are calling this what it is. It’s a checkpoint and they will be arresting people for DUI just as if it is a DUI checkpoint.

This infuriates me. Thanks to Alex Jones and this site for raising my blood pressure every day by telling me about things I wouldn’t know about otherwise. I am now on medication; but I’m grateful for the information.

I remember telling a co-worker 4 years ago that Posse Comitatus was dead. She rejected that premise completely. I don’t think she really understood what I was telling her, so willing to capitulate to authority was she, to tell you the truth. And, I doubt she even comprehends what’s going on today.

These actions by DHS and our local and state police and our military commanders alarm and disturb me; but what alarms and disturbs me more are the Americans who shrug when they learn of it.

These are stealthy–and steady–steps toward a police state. What do you think they’re observing for, if not to train for the contingency of martial law? Americans may think they’re there to protect them, to keep order, to keep peace, in the face of a national emergency. Often that is the initial good intention; but what happens–inevitably–is abuse by those tasked with providing protection and order. And, by then, it’s too late; you’re at the mercy of a militarized group of jack-boots, because when the law is irrelevant; so is your safety; There will be no petition for redress of grievances.

Wake up and smell the rotting carcass of your Constitution, sheeple.
