Uhm, thanks for the verbal assault, Stan. I guess you think that’s O.K. Pffft.
Nowhere did I condone cop assault. I’m just suggesting that you try to get into a cop’s head and understand why and how they get to that point. After watching a few cop buddies go down giving strangers the benefit of the doubt, some get a ‘them or me’ mentality. Those loose cannon cop/guys need warnings, vacations, counselling, and perhaps firing if they can’t keep a level head.

My friend lives in Dearborn (the city where this incident took place). She had a situation where a male neighbor (drunk) across the street was swearing at her underage daughter. When she said to the neighbor “Don’t swear at my daughter” he grabbed his gonads and made a sexual gesture to the both of them. They spoke with the police and said they wouldn’t even bother coming out and talking to the drunk, they did nothing. Yet, they will harass law abiding people about piddly stuff. Remember, this is the same city where the notorious Officer Sanchez (I think that was his name) called 911 because he thought he was dead from eating pot brownies.

My dad has juvenile diabetes. Hypoglycemia can cause superhuman strength in spasms. He is small 100 pound and he broke a coworkers arm that was three times his size.

However the cops who strike first and ask question later policy is out of control. Even if he was on drugs, assaulting someone so bad they need parts of their brain removed is unnecessary unless someones life was in immediate danger. Not just because they can’t understand orders at the moment.

cops are just as bad, if not worse than the people they arrest. they only have strength in numbers. (referring to police brutality videos i’ve seen) since when does it take a half dozen cops to put one handcuffed man in a car? they kick the shit out of the person being arrested and get away with it. his hands are behind his back so he obviously can’t fight back. first it the criminals, its only a matter of time before they direct their attention towards you and me.

Bullies with Badges need to be stopped. Victims of police abuse have no redress in this rigged system. There is a double standard created by out of control police agencies who conveniently “fear for their lives”, usually while 3-4 of them gang up on a handcuffed prisoner. That’s their style, yet they cannot figure out why so many upstanding citizens hold these baboons in contempt.

cops are not allowed to strike you unless their life is in danger, someone having a seisure or diabetic episode is not a threat, unless you fear inept people rolling around on the ground, i think they have self help groups for that. i understand that cops do a job nobody else wants and they enforce laws nobody voted in, but assault is assault, no matter if its handed out by a cop or a felon. people cannot respect you if this is behaviour goes unchecked.
