The story of the “Unimpeachment” hearing

The brave efforts of Congressman Dennis Kucinich and others to attempt to bring articles of impeachment against the president and the vice president cannot be underestimated, however, due to the brick wall erected before them by the Democratic leadership, statements at the hearing were very limited.
“To the regret of many, this is not an impeachment hearing,” said Rep. John Conyers Jr., Michigan Democrat, noting that the House would have to approve any hearings that could move formally on impeachment.
Before the hearing even began it became clear that Conyers and the rest of the committeewere not even considering the possibility of impeachment.
In fact we are not even allowed to use the word impeachment for Bush’s impeachment hearing.
The “unimpeachment hearing” did not allow any remarks or formal accusations that would imply or state that the president lied or obstructed the truth in any way, nor did it allow any references to alleged impeachable offenses.
Former prosecutor and author of The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Vincent Bugliosi summed up the hearing in his opening statement to the Committee:
“I have been told that the rules of this house dictate that although I can quote what president George Bush said I am forbidden from accusing him of a crime or even of any dishonorable conduct, only being allowed to use the words “Bush Administration” or “Administration officials” this will not make for the best of articulations, but I will do the best that I can”
Though Bugliosi went on to state that “The terrible reality is the Bush administration has gotten away with thousands and thousands or murders,” under the rules of the House, we must ignore that. We must also ignore the boisterous applause for the former prosecutor’s words, which drove Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX), the committee’s ranking member, to ask that Chairman John Conyers clear the hearing room. That too is not allowed.
When Cindy Sheehan shouted, “Thank you Vince”, Conyers reminded her that it was forbidden to express any demonstrations of approval or disapproval of the proceedings. An angry and bemused Sheehan was already on her way out of the door when Conyers ordered her to be removed.
Though Dennis Kucinich was afforded the luxury of presenting one of his articles of imp…. er unimpeachment, he was not allowed to present any evidence or facts to back it up, of which we know there are ample amounts of. Presenting false intelligence as a pretext to engage in war, ordering illegal torture and authorizing warrantless wiretapping anyone?
Kucinich asked:
“The question for Congress is this: what responsibility does the President and members of his Administration have for that unnecessary, unprovoked and unjustified war?”
“The rules of the House prevent me or any witness from utilizing familiar terms. But we can put two and two together in our minds. We can draw inferences about culpability. …
“I ask this committee to think, and then to act, in order to enable this Congress to right a very great wrong and to hold accountable those who misled this nation,” he concluded.
Republicans reminded us all that impeachment would set a dangerous precedent by punishing a president for his political policies. Heaven forbid.
“There’s no evidence in these allegations of the president violating his oath of office,” said Rep. Mike Pence, Indiana Republican.
Pence was technically correct given that no one was allowed to present any evidence.
Jeremy Rabkin, a George Mason University law professor, said Bush administration critics might be using threats of impeachment to express anger toward the president over policy matters.
Others called the meeting a waste of time with Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith saying,” Nothing is going to come out of this hearing with regard to impeachment of the president. I know it, the media knows it, even the speaker knows it.”
At several points Smith was seen fuming and at one point blurted out “This is not impeachment hearing”.
Smith, mocked the proceedings, comparing them to last month’s hearing featuring former White House spokesman turned whistleblower Scott McClellan, whom he took pride in comparing to Judas.
“If last month it appeared we hosted a ‘book of the month club,’ this week it seems that we are hosting an anger management class,” Smith said. “This hearing will not cause us to impeach the President; it will only serve to impeach our own credibility.”

When I watch these videos….I can’t help but tremble in my chair ….watching individuals at the highest level of our government ( Conyers ) and the Judiciary Committee openly and sternly defend this criminal president and criminal administration, when it is and has been obvious to most of the world that Bush is not only a vicious criminal, a liar , a treasonous murderer. Everyone on this planet knows that we were lied to about Iraq and countless other issues. Look at the way Conyers just simply dismisses the audience and protestors ( Sheehan, etc. ) tossess them out, reminds the audience to be quiet and not show support regarding impeachment. He even states,
“Don’t use the word impeachment” WTF !!! When will the population realize that there simply is no difference between Democrats and Republicans? When will the deadbeat, lethargic population wake up and realize that we are a hair away from the destruction of our country forever? We are finished…..done….if we think we can simply sit all nice and pretty and discuss kindly with our government representatives, ( Conyers and Pelosi ) We all know what must be done…the time of talking is now over…the time to discuss whether or not we should let our country and our freedoms be destroyed……is done….no kind civil protests ,or ..” Can I please have my country back…or….Can I please have freedoms and rights….pretty please…..F@#$ that !!!! To every man of this country….this is the last stand……our last chance to be free …our last chance as a society where we are recognized as humans….. the last chance we will ever get to ensure a future for our kids where they won’t be born into despotic slavery…..I call on all Americans to do what needs to be done.

there can no longer be nary a shred of doubt,that our congresscritters in the district of criminals were bought and paid for long ago..after watching about half the procedings and watching the clips of parts missed,can help but wonder why this charadesham even took place at all,when it was understood to all participents that absolutely no “formal” impeachment charges or anything else would come from it..something very fishy about all of this..was it in reality a mini infomercial to sell Bugliosi’s book perhaps? very strange to me..afraid we might find out what this sideshow [show business for ugly people] was REALLY all about in the very near future..

The military commissions act should have been enough to trigger impeachment proceeding. Bush’s abuse of power and virtual castration of Congress’s power to check and balance his tyrannical behavior, the founding Fathers are spinning so hard in their graves, generators could harness their fury to solve the energy crisis. I urge you to support the impeachment effort of President Bush now in progress. As I watched the testimony of witnesses, especially Fein and DA Buglioso, there was only one conclusion i could draw. it is your duty to support impeachment. I don’t care if congress grinds to a halt for the next month, there is nothing more important than this. If you don’t slap down Bush and put him in his place now, we will never be able to impeach any future presidents, no matter how grossly he abuses his power. By doing nothing to check Bush’s abuse of power now, the bar to trigger impeachment will be tacitly raised to the stars. If you don’t impeach Bush now, your hand will be on that bar. I encourage you to join with Kucinich and show Bush he is not the Emperor he thinks he is. If Bush is not impeached, I think you should introduce legislation changing his title to His Supreme Emperor, the Decider.

Hey Guzo, I know it’s frustrating beyond description, but unfortunately if we resort to violence, which I think you were suggesting, we will be falling directly into their plan. As soon as the resistance turns violent, they will parade the violent activists in front of the sheep as the latest success of homeland security - and the public will nod their heads in agreement. The way to fight this is to create so much awareness that the sheer numbers of people demanding change will cause change to occur. The other side will resort to violence, but it is simply a provocation to get us to react … and as soon as we do, we will be made an example of, and if lucky, just incarcerated. This is precisely why provocateurs are intentionally placed within planned protests. I believe in defending myself and my family, but if it gets to he point that a physical defense is required, at least for now, you’d better have a camcorder rolling if you want any hope of freedom. I agree that we must fight, but I also think that right now, the fight is in getting more people to wake up. Though the horrendous criminals in the Bush administration have tried to push their Guantanamo tribunals as the new “Nuremberg,” what we witnessed July 25th was the beginning of the “real” parallel to Nuremberg.

I asked everbody loudly at the pool if they even new this was all going on and not one person did. They not only didn’t know what was going on but they all didn’t care. We are now only one step away from criminal trials in which no presentation of any evidence of wrongdoing is allowed - as long as the Defendants on trial are ‘favorite sons’ and daughters of the political establishment.

As a life long student of the Scriptures I have come to believe that the B.I.B.L.E. is the Best Instructions Before Leaving Earth and I hope that you do, too. DEEP RED: Yet another dis-info agent working to post ridiculous messages on sites such as this, as well as youtube videos, hoping to discourage us. However, he is very wrong in his view. He states that he will “be watching over us at the concentration camps, and laughing”. But of what use/benefit is an idiot like this to the NWO? Even if we fail, and genocide happens, I highly doubt the NWO will be in need of people/slaves like DEEP RED.

My great grandad fled Germany in the late 30s to come the the states, because he saw what was going to happen. He tryed to convince others what was going on and just like people like DEEP RED they laughed at him and made jokes….I think I need to relocate my family as well, because I don’t want tons of explosive rained down on my head 24-7, or shipped off to a FEMA (GASTOPO) camp like a lot of his friends were! I need to take a few Chinese langaue classes first though. Sad to think I have to move my family to CHINA to feel free and safe, but where else can one go to escape the MAD MAX nightmare that is getting ready to happen here! I just thought I would let you all know, I lived in Austin Texas for almost 20 years…I met Alex when I did some volunteer work at ACAC… That’s where he started his Cable access show many moons ago. I ran a camera for him a few times…He invited me to go to Mt.Carmel (Waco) to help rebuild the Branch Davidian Chruch. I met Clive Dole and another person that was actualy in the fire, a black lady I can’t recall her name. That is where I got woken up. I dug 3 holes all by my self for footings for the new church in the hard azz Waco Texas clay! All I can say is ALex is for real, honest as the day is long and is very passionate about his country. While I was one site me and a few guys dug around and found some very interesting SPENT munitions… This is after the feds had 2 years to sanitize the crime scene. Alex walks the walk! I am just surprized he’s till alive, which is a miricle for sure. He cant be bought! He can’t be threatened, and that’s why I admire trust and believe in him. He does have a wierd sence of humor though…. He wouldn’t get some of my best jokes, but would bust his side over a Knock Knock Joke! Very od!

What angers me is the flippant disrespectful attitudes of those who are controlling this hearing. They act like all of this is a big joke, trying to diminish its importance whenever possible.

this is a little off topic but i woke up late the other night and had in instant thought. We have to keep our eye on the goal, and not let our anger get in the way. The less emotional you are, the more effective your strategy will be. Don’t let anything sidetrack you from your target. In order to wake up the most people possible, you have to seem normal at first…when in Rome, do what the Romans do. Train yourself to find the “hot button” for each person you talk to, and start there. Remember, we’re all salesmen and women. Not every “no” means never. You plant a seed, and move on. At the right moment, it will grow.
I know you think we don’t have time, but we have to trust that the Higher Power is guiding us, and WILL prevail. Be patient, but don’t waste any time by making an *ss of yourself in front of people. We need the people. The people need US. Be diplomatic, like our founding fathers, and know without a shadow of a doubt that justice will prevail. Whether you believe in reincarnation or ghosts, or just through their words as they speak to our hearts, the founding fathers’ spirits are still here working with us. They pump courage into your heart when you are weak, and channel wisdom into your mind when confusion overflows.

I find the posts by “Deep Red” interesting - not that I’d agree with that dumb-f**k nor would I find debating him constructive in any ways. What I mean is that there really are such ignorant, brainwashed people, yet fully aware of what’s going on, and still think that they’re safe somehow. They have a strange, twisted logic, yet it’s very human and happens all the time.
These highly compartmentalized, order-following individuals are partly a product of conditioning and social engineering - and no matter what, they’ll in most cases stay that way - and despite the fact that these people who bother making comments like DR here aren’t more than a half step higher up in the “food-chain” of the elite than the rest of us - if even that.
The other likely alternative for them would be to panic & freeze completely - which is what many do when they realize it all for the first time - and I guess the attitude that DR has is simply a way of trying to deal with it - or he’s “just following orders” and doing his job. But well, it’ll hit him too one day.
The selected jews controlling other jews in the concentration camps were a “good” example of this instict-based behaviour people tend to have when lacking certain aspect of a balanced, open mind - let alone a sense of morality and justice.
And as most people here already know - there are three steps to the truth: first ridiculing (or making “jokes” the way DR does) - then denial - and finally acceptance.
Yet, it’s still a long way to real action of any kind and as the Congress quite clearly demonstrates…

I think it’s just the internet-explorer and/or the ms-windows that are causing the problem. Could also have something to do with the htlm-coding at Prison Planet, but I’m only guessing…

Tim - you have a strong point there - however - the presidents of the US - or Russia for that matter - are not on top of the global power pyramid - they’re usally just puppets with their own more or less greedy & self-centered agendas.
The people that are pulling the strings of these presidents can and will sacrifice even the “leader” of the greatest empire if and when the time is right, if in return there’s a chance for even more power for the masters of puppets.
Now, I don’t know what the majority of people here think, but Obama’s “new-world-order tour” is no coinsidence - there’s a purpose for it as well as for the “impeachment hearing” we’ve witnessed - and as happy as I am for this hearing taking place, I wouldn’t be surprised if it “suddenly” turned into a disinfo event leading ultimately to the world goverment which their after.

The reason leaders in the Democratic Party have outright refused to either impeach or prosecute the criminal George W Bush or his band of crooks regardless of what evidence is uncovered is easily understood. The fact is if any kind of real trial actually materialized, I mean legal proceedings where real questions and facts can and will be investigated and openly aired, the TRUTH will be publicly uncovered. Consequently a lot of political careers would become a sad part of American history.
What truth you wonder? Some say the truth about all this started way back in 1998 during one memorable congressional session where an extensive debate took place on the topics of diminishing world oil supply, the Taliban government’s obstruction to the proposed Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline deal, and ironically enough, the American people’s intolerance to engage in any kind of unprovoked war.
The plot thickens shortly thereafter. Sometime just prior to the presidential changing of the guards a bipartisan contingency plan was finally laid out. A number of “get it done” Reagan era neocons who had been enlisted by Congress during the Clinton Administration later became an intricate part of the incoming Bush administration and you guess it, in enacting the fallacy of 9/11 on the American populace.
The neocon contributions where instrumental in formulating what ultimately proved to be a one of the most successful bipartisan efforts ever. Part of the plan was to eradicate further Taliban obstructions guaranteeing the congressionally authorized use of military force against the established Afghanistan government. That was obviously successful we now refer that succession of events as 9/11.

I just wanted to clarify something. There are many of you out there that keep saying something along the lines of our country having been hijacked by socialists/communists, or that we have become a socialist/communist country.
Because of your indoctrination and your quasi-religious blind faith in free market capitalism you cannot bring yourselves to admit that the capitalist system has failed spectacularly just as it was predicted it would. This is the capitalist nation par excellence and you need to own up to that if you truly want to find some solutions to all these problems.
Come on people, you cannot deny that this country was BUILT on slavery and pillage for profit. Show a time in this country’s history when this wasn’t true. Then as now, all the talk of freedom and liberty (at least that coming from the mouths of the profiteers) is hollow. It’s sad but it’s true, accept it. That doesn’t mean that the only alternative is soviet style totalitarianism.
For instance, some form of libertarianism has yet to be really tried. Once we finally appreciate what capitalism is we will no longer be able to support it on moral grounds and it will then make as much sense to say it is compatible with liberty and freedom as murder or theft are compatible with those ideals.

James Taylor, the one thing that has never been tried in this country is free market capitalism. Free market capitalism is not the same as the monopoly capitalism practiced by the robber barons and central bankers who have hijacked this country.
By the way, the monopolists are the same people who have given us the false alternative of socialism/communism. With either of these phony systems, monopoly capitalism or socialism, we arrive at centralized control by an oligarchy, which is, of course, the point of those who have given them to us.
The distinction between monopoly capitalism and free market capitalism is important and you would do well to study it. Sweeping generalizations about the abject failure of capitalism don’t address the real issue and lead to egregiously incorrect conclusions like yours.
True republican government by the people was designed to prevent the growth of rule by oligarchy. Unfortunately, this requires eternal vigilance by the people in the face of a determined conspiracy by would be oligarchs; this required eternal vigilance has not happened (and may never happen), but to chalk up the destruction of the US to the “failure” of capitalism is wrong and overly simplistic.

We do not have “Free Market Capitalism” in America.
If we did, then it would be hundreds of times easier for the average person to open their own business.
Instead, large corporations, and other big businesses are given all kinds of breaks and exceptions, while the small business owner is penalized at every turn.
To me, that proves that “Monopoly Capitalism” is the true economic system in America, and that it is these very same companies that are influencing politicians to create laws that support monopoly capitalism.
Many things considered to be “communist”, like tax breaks for poor people for instance, are really just an attempt to level the playing field by creating an environment where small businesses have a chance to grow, and compete with larger ones. In other words “Free Market Capitalism” is seen as being communist by the “Monopoly Capitalists”, in my opinion.
lastly, I think the people on top, the elites, the “have mores” the people with the money, do not want true free market capitalism because they do not want change, rather, they want things to stay the same, forever, because they want to keep their money forever. These are the pathetic,selfish cowards whose dereliction of duty lost our country from us.Here the judge tries to live in the past by talking of the people’s former accomplishments,so he can fantasize that in the good old days these lowest of human slime-vermon who sold our country out forever ,used to be nice people.Listen to them still trying to figure out away between them on how to impeach Iraq as an unjust war,when they know good and well it was no more unjust as Afghanistan-any war started by a false flag operation is an unjust war-these creeps know deep down there’s nobody left to fall for that one.All this because these cowards couldn’t say two words,”inside job”.You co-signed on the crime of the century and with that you threw away all your congressional impeachment powers forever and for anyone else you jerks.So you can wallow in all your guilt all you want you Congressional parasites,but don’t expect the people to feel sorry for you because you cowards lost our country from us and we know it.I have even less respect for you than even the president does.All you are to him anymore are mildly annoying insects who will squash you if you get in his way.Your own selfishness created the monster so now you can suffer the consequences and we do to.thanks a lot!

This is crazy, An impeachment hearing and no one is allowed to use the word impeach. They are also not allowd to present any evidence against Bush. This is not the America I was raised in.
It is only America in name anymore. It’s a good thing i’m not a congressman. I would use the words impeach, hang, guillotine, murderor, terrorist, treason, war crimes. and would be glad to show the evidence. And anybody that tried to stop me would have charges brought against them for obstruction of justice. The whole judicial system is guilty of obstruction of justice. There has been several Federal judges that has forbidden the defendants from using the law in their defence. The united States has been overthrowed by people in high places, including Bush, the vice president and several senitors and congressmen.It’s a good thing our rulers didn’t live in the 1700’s or 1800’s or they would have been hung by the people that were not scared of the government like most people are now. Well i’m one that is not scared of the government. Our government don’t like people like me. They are scaed of anyone that is not scared of them. American people wake-up and look around and see what is happening to our country. The declaration of independence says when the government gets out of control, the people has a right and a duty to throw off such government and set up new government. Once our government takes everyone’s guns it will be to late

Freedom Cry
I wished, hoped and prayed they (250 million American Zombies) would come to their senses by now. I agree time is short. The time for asking politely has passed by and is about out of sight. I’ve tried my best to warn friends and family but they can’t see the forest fire for the smoke and mirrors.
There will be no “I told you so” coming from me it will sound more like this: “I tried to tell you, show you, warn you, but you were to preoccupied and refused to listen. I am sorry you have no food or water for nourishment. I am sorry you have no home. I am sorry for your mind being destroyed and fed to you for pleasure, how you loved the way it taste. Stop your crying I don’t want to hear it any more. You preached to me, God is in control and when it suited you, you preached God gave us the right to choose. Your sermon was, is and will always be confused. You turned the other cheek in the face of pure evil. You turned away from the truth. Now stand up like a man, stand up like a women. Quit acting like a child and take your just comings.”
For the rest of us; the lovers of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, to the truth seekers and to the ones whom are the disseminators of truth, for the lovers of humanity and this beautiful planet we call home I tell you this. Mr. Bush and his cronies are completly insane and should be put into a institution for a 90 day evaluation. Any President who takes us into an agressive war rather than a defensive war needs to be impeached along with his whole cabinet. They have put the corprate oil companies over the American people.
