The Department of Homeland Security thinks so

Texas Governor Rick Perry has backed a House resolution in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In the eyes of the Department of Homeland Security this makes him a dangerous right-wing extremist.
HCR 50 affirms that Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment over all powers not otherwise granted to the federal government.
The bill also designates that all compulsory federal legislation that requires states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties, or that requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited or repealed.
“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said in a press conference last Thursday.
“That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential Tenth Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.” Perry added.

(Article continues below)
Perry’s words could land him on a federal watchlist however, if the Department of Homeland Security’s latest intelligence assessment is an accurate indicator.
A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines “rightwing extremism in the United States” as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority, reports the Washington Times today.
“It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration,” the report states.
The Times has picked up on the newly uncovered document which we covered in our article yesterday.
The report, entitled Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment (PDF link) was leaked to the Internet a few days ago. It also equates gun owners with violent terrorists and states that radical extremists are “stockpiling” weapons in fear of an Obama administration gun ban.
The document characterizes concerns about the economy, unemployment, the loss of U.S. sovereignty and the move towards global government as “rightwing extremist chatter on the Internet” which itself is defined as a potential tool for terrorists to network, build bombs, and send encrypted messages to each other.
Concerned readers should perhaps contact Governor Rick Perry and ask him how he feels about being equated with dangerous terrorists by the federal government.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said in a press conference last Thursday.
Right… Mr. Perry is so believable. So you’re going ti withdraw your requirement to have teenage girls vaccinated with Gardasil? Ah, thought not. You’re part of the problem, not part of the solution. Like Glenn Beck, only give lip service to being pro-liberty, but the rest of the time you’re a whore.

Lipservice leads to hands on pitch forks, boots on the street, and more voices in the air. I commend the bravery and fortitude this man displays in the name of the Liberty. We need more voices like his in this matter. Even if his background or works are suspect, his Lipservice is needed in this area. Texas has got this right.

An American flag with upside down stars. In satanic witchcraft you’ll see upsidedown 5-pointed stars. But, then again, Hillary is a 33rd degree Freemason witch, so what do you expect…..?

States rights are what every state should not be overrun and trampled by the Federal government.
When Texas joined the Union they retained the right to secede if they want to and NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME.

I’d love to see the treaty or resolution guaranteeing that Texas has the right of unilateral secession. All I see is a Supreme Court precedent that has stood for 160 years that answers the question:
http://www.law.cornell.edu/sup.....00_ZO.html
Texas vs. White, decided by the Chase court, set the precedent that a state may not unilaterally secede from this Union, and it affirmed what today’s protectors and defenders of the Constitution know, and that is that “The Constitution, in all its provisions, looks to an indestructible Union, composed of indestructible States.”
The Court found that secession can only occur through the consent of the other States, or through revolution (AKA treason). You pick.

God Bless Texas! Those familiar with Texas history will recall that a primary basis for the eventual battle for Texas independence was the failure of Santa Ana to restore the Mexican state’s rights under the Constitution of 1824. Santa Ana forced the issue, Texas prevailed. Perhaps this can be seen as a parallel in that once again, Texas is reminding the “Central” government that its jurisdiction does have limitations, and that usurpation of those limits will not be tolerated.

The unfortunate part is there is no clear delineation point like there was during the civil war between the north and the south. Today there are pockets and islands of blue surrounding population centers and the rest of america is a sea red. If we are destined to fight again……….it will be a much different scrimage. Lets hope cooler heads prevail.

Every independant state has the right to succeed and or to abolish the current govt and put in place their own sir, joining the union was and has always been voluntary. You, do your research please before posting.
Neither the Texas Constitution, nor the Constitution of the united States, explicitly or implicitly disallows the secession of Texas (or any other “free and independent State”) from the United States. Joining the “Union” was ever and always voluntary, rendering voluntary withdrawal an equally lawful and viable option (regardless of what any self-appointed academic, media, or government “experts”—including Abraham Lincoln himself—may have ever said).
Both the original (1836) and the current (1876) Texas Constitutions also state that “All political power is inherent in the people … they have at all times the inalienable right to alter their government in such manner as they might think proper.”
are you serious? Reply:

If you don’t understand that the U.S. Constitution supercedes the Texas Constitution, then I can’t help you. Of course Texas joined the Union voluntarily; for a contract to be legal, it must be formed between voluntary parties. Of course, one party cannot unilaterally change the terms of a contract, and it follows that a State cannot unilaterally secede from the Union.
I’d love to see the explicit guarantee that Texas has the right of unilateral secession. All I see is a Supreme Court precedent that has stood for 160 years that answers the question:

Please consider supporting Deb Medina in running for Governor of Texas

Deb is the Campaign For Liberty Texas State Coordinator and is also a great lady.
Rick Perry has GOT to go.
From http://www.runmedina.com/
“Debra Medina is a true conservative and has been active in the Republican Party for 17 years. She has been married to her husband Noe for 26 years, and they have homeschooled and raised two children into responsible adults. Currently she is the Wharton County Republican Party Chair and is also the Campaign for Liberty Texas state coordinator. Debra is also the founder and CEO of Prudentia Inc., a medical consulting firm.
A daughter of the Republic of Texas, Debra’s ancestor Nathan Rice fought in the revolutionary war and another was killed in the Dawson Massacre near Salado Creek outside San Antonio in September 1842.
Mrs. Medina has been a tireless advocate of private property rights, gun ownership, individual responsibility and adherence to the Constitution. She has actively opposed big government, taxes, bailouts, mandatory vaccinations, the TTC and abortion.”

The “lead” was actually set by the Oklahoma House, which already voted to declare Sovereignty on Feb 18, 2009… Followed by state legislatures in South Carolina (2-26), South Dakota (3-3), Idaho (3-23), Missouri (3-23), Georgia (4-1), Alaska (4-6), North Dakota (4-7), and Indiana (4-9). Hello, where ya been?! If you DO live in Texas, please call your state politicians and ask them to follow the LEAD taken by these 9 states. Hurrah for them!

In 1852, in return for this assumption of debt, a large portion of Texas-claimed territory, now parts of Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Wyoming, was ceded to the Federal government.
The annexation resolution has been the topic of some historical myths—one that remains is that the resolution granted Texas the explicit right to secede from the Union. This was a right argued by some to be implicitly held by all states at the time, up until the conclusion of the Civil War. The resolution did include two unique provisions: first, it said that up to four additional states could be created from Texas’ territory, with the consent of the State of Texas. The resolution did not include any special exceptions to the provisions of the US Constitution regarding statehood. The right to create these possible new states was not “reserved” for Texas, as is sometimes stated.[8] Second, Texas did not have to surrender its public lands to the federal government. While Texas did cede all territory outside of its current area to the federal government in 1850, it did not cede any public lands within its current boundaries. This means that the only lands owned by the federal government within Texas have subsequently been purchased by the federal government. This also means that the state government has control over oil reserves which were later used to fund the state’s public university system through the Permanent University Fund.[9] In addition, the state’s control over offshore oil reserves in Texas runs out to 3 leagues (10.357 miles, 16.668 km) rather than three miles (4.828 km) as with other states.[10]

The disclaimer at the bottom of the DHS document says that it shouldn’t be passed around to the public. Only authorized individuals. Using the government action to pass around a document that violates the US Constitution and the lives of citizens is treason. The US Federal government and all of its supporters, including the US Supreme Court, are guilty of treason based on the Constitution. We need to see what this actually means for the millions and millions of us who are accused of being terrorists. A rogue government like our Federal government has clearly crossed the line being oppressive to tyrannical and full of terrorists against citizens of the United States.

It is good he said it, even if he is just another ambitious politician seeking more office. What matters is Texas is flush with plenty of people who do believe what was said, and we stand by it. An upshot for him is that this p r move likely put the kibosh of Kaye Baileys’ run for the governors’ seat. Even so, Wow! in bed with Merck, yikes. I will never trust this guy after the attempted forced vaccination program for gardasil. That stills sends chills through my spine. Then there is the sell off for toll roads and the supposedly “backburnnered” superduper nau highway corridor. And this is just some of what we know.

if they arent planning on taking away 2nd amendment rights, why do they keep focusing in people stocking up? people are just buying a legal item while they know they still can. if there is no plan to take them away, there will be no problem. i read about somewhere in the pacific northwest that people are stocking up on certain cleaning supplies because of new mandates for “greener” cleaning supplies that dont do as good of a job. are these people dangerous, too? they are stockpiling products. why isnt dhs all over them? they are stockpiling a legal product while they know they still can. the same as gun owners. again, if there is no plan to take them away, there will be no problem. since they seem to see some problem with it– it gives away what they intend to do, doesnt it?

It’s important to have the leaders of the splinter factions set up in advance. Follow Perry into the Republic of Texas or SW Republic and be set up for either assimilation into the NWO or (more likely) a WMD to wipe out a concentrated population of resistance. A solid plan. Granted, you might lose some choice sex slaves and/or harvestable organs, but overall it’s a win.
April 19th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Perry is a NWO COINTELPRO agent of the highest order, sent in to co-opt the Sovereignty Movement into a secessionist drive… he’s a fricking demon CREEP!
Like I said before, there is nothing in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, that gives a state the power or the right to secede from the Union not even if it has reached a point where the second amendment holds sway. Even at this, there is no power within the Constitution that gives a state a right to secede, for TOGETHER we have pledged “our Sacred Honor.” Not to the federal government, but to each other as States. The Constitution is an agreement BETWEEN the STATES… the federal government is a creation of the States within that agreement, like hiring a lawyer. Secession from the States is like leaving your home because you don’t like what your lawyer is doing… DUH!?
The 10th Amendment State Sovereignty movement however, because it is based in the 10th Amendment, which contains the last three words of the ratified 1791 Constitution and Bill of Rights for the United states of America… namely “to the people.”… and contains the power to restrain the rogues in Washington DC… or force them to show their true stripe, overtly in an open attack on the states and people, is our only lawful remedy.
Now what I mean in my previous paragraph, is that by exercising the 10th Amendment as a resolution, and 38 states or more do this, it opens everything up… everything EXCEPT the LAWFULLY ratified on DEC. 15th, 1791, Constitution and Bill of Rights for the United States of America, including the power to “fire” the federal agency and all of it’s unlawful corporate subsidiaries.
Now what does that mean? It means that the states have the power, outside of convention… (this is not a convention… I want to make that perfectly clear), this is independent individual state legislatures working in concert, to PRESERVE the Constitution, and halt and reverse the federal power grab.
These states will then consider whether that piece of crap 17th amendment is constitutional or not, or whether the reaking garbage called the 16th amendment is constitutional or not. Or if the constitutionality exists for that other piece of tripe the 14th amendment, that was twisted totally to take away our freedom and make us slaves to the federal government as “citizens” that can be culled from the womb, instead of remaining sovereign individuals from conception.
We can also resurrect the original 13th Amendment, which was fully ratified, but disappeared in the melee following the Civil War and was replaced by Lincoln’s anti-slavery 13th amendment. The original 13th amendment, punishes with loss of citizenship etc., acts like the ones by our president, and several of his predecessors and others with past or present power in government including Bilderburg attendee Rick Perry, who have taken emolument, station, gift, and title, from the crowned heads of Europe and others, for their assistance in the global Euro takeover. ALL in direct violation of LAW… at Art. I section 9 of the Constitution, the Logan Act, and the LAWFUL and rightfully ratified, TONA 13th Amendment.
You who seek to jump into the unlawful hell of secession… wanting, that Texas secede from the Union, are playing right into the globalist elitists hands that are attached to those crowned heads of Europe, the traditional enemies of the United States of America!
Do any of you have questions..? Now would be the time to spit them out!
