To me however, this is futile because the average citizen doesn't grasp the impact a system like the Federal Reserve has on our lives. Money is just representative of the things we own to most people. You mention abandoning things like welfare in favor of a true reform and so called leftist Americans will go for the throat. Much more progress would be made attempting to educate people as to WHY it needs to be done away with seems to be a better route. This just radicalizes the movement to outsiders in my humble opinion.
